These were absolutely fine for use in Argentina. They are of a compact design with no apparent skimping in design or manufacture that we could detect of the kind which might have raised doubts about safety. They are neither too heavy, nor too loose fitting, either of which situation can sometimes lead to plugs dropping out or appliances failing to charge. We had seen it suggested that some hotels in Argentina have European type ‘C’ sockets. We didn’t take the risk and got these adapters, which was handy because in both 5 star hotels in BA and Iguassu there were only the Argentinian type ‘I’ sockets available.
