This is hit and miss. It works great on my husband but doesn’t help me at all. I would recommend a try for it because it might work for you. The size of the bottle is really good and it is good value for money. Use is very easy to use, just spary twice up your nose.

It worked so much more quickly than a tablet
I still have to rinse my face and hair as I can feel the pollen on them

But this is the best treatment I’ve used so fa

I use a spray in each nostril every day from May all through the summer and it stops my hay fever completely. The best hay fever remedy ever, I love it! You have to be persistent and use it regularly for it to work, it’s not a quick fix but a long term fix.

Very effective at relieving the symptoms of hayfever but the spray doesn’t always work. Also, be aware that with two sprays per nostril daily, the bottle will last for about two weeks.

It’s not perfect but it’s really worked well for me. All the pills I’ve taken cause me to be drowsy so it’s a relief that this works (quickly) and is the only thing I’ve found that doesn’t make me feel drowsy.

Bought this nasal spray for my elderly dad who suffers from a very runny nose. He has tried everything, so this spray was a last resort. Amazingly it has reduced the constant stream every morning. I dont know if when he finishes the bottle, it will start to run again but it is giving him some respite from his symptoms. Its a small bottle but I would recommend buying this product.

I couldn’t praise this stuff enough honestly. I tried other nasal sprays for years and always made things worse imo. But since I bought this I can honestly say I know what a summer now feels like for someone who doesn’t suffer with allergies. It’s absolutely fantastic. I don’t even take allergy tablets and this still covers me! not even a twitch in my nose when I venture out into nature! 10/10 all day long.

Brilliant. After reading reviews on this nasal spray and such positivity I decided to buy one for an 80 year old female who has severe copd. She had been really struggling with whatever and constant violent sneezing which was distressing her and effecting her sleep. I was dubious but this really did do the trick and only needed o ne spray in each nostril for the relief so thanks everyone for the advice as to 1 spray as then if needed she can use another spray at night which she hasn’t had to do yet. Excellent Produc

Alternative to beconase. If you have problems with the brown inhalers then this might be a good alternative because it contains flixinase which you find in the orange inhalers.

The problem with beconase was it made my asthma worse. Prinase stopped that from happening. My asthma nurse moved me over from the brown inhaler to the orange one as a result.

NOTE this is not medical advice. It is a personal story. If you are unsure then consult your Dr.

Warning this item contains a potent steroid which means over time the skin inside your nose may become thinned. It isn’t recommended to use this everyday unless you have been told to so by your Dr.

Always seek advice from your Dr if you are unsure.

Effective product, good value for money if you’re a hayfever sufferer like myself! However only one thing I’d say is they’ve changed the lid on it, literally half this bottle is plastic. Nothing against the seller thoughs

I use this daily, 2 sprays each nostril and it keeps me down for the whole day. It doesn’t have a disgusting taste like some other ones, instead I taste lavender in the back of my throat lol!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI suffer quite bad with hay fever from time to time, including an itchy inside of my nose, sneezing and most annoyingly nasal congestion. Since I was told about this spray I never not have it in my home as when I suffer a quick spray of this soon clears it up. The other great thing is it is much cheaper than my local chemist (2 each bottle) delivered to my home so really can’t grumble. Great product that does the job at a great price.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersYears ago I used to have this on prescription for perennial rhinitis. Then I changed GP surgery and they said it was “too expensive”. Then that surgery went really downhill and said that I *had to* buy Beconase. I changed surgeries again about 4 months ago and have only recently got Flixonase on prescription after asking my GP. I’m trying not to turn a product review into a political rant but I’ve had this condition since I was about 25 and am now 47. I had to use a lot of Beconase, more than the dose you are supposed to take, but it didn’t really help. Flixonase is a stronger chemical (fluticasone) which is also used for asthma.

This antihistamine nasal spray is the only one I am able to use that works for me. However it is only a very small amount making it expensive to use. The pump spray works well. The label makes it difficult to see when it is empty.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWatched an ITV programme on Hayfever. Have suffered badly my entire life. I found nothing to touch it. The programme said the best way of preventing hayfever was to use a steroid based nasal spray. So, I googled it. Found the ingredients, put them in to amazon and came up with this. Brilliant. Nose has not run once since I’ve used it. I still have slightly runny eyes but I can play golf for 3 or 4 hours with no sunglasses or any other hayfever treatment perfectly with no symptoms. I have recommended this to others at my golf club and all have had the same superb results !!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have chronic Rhinitis and always have one nostril blocked and the other only functioning about 75%. They swap every so often as part of the natural nasal cycle. During Spring things get even worse for me and this helped a treat. Alas, I can’t use it long term as per the instructions, so it got me through the Spring and now I’m back to where I was. It says to use 2 sprays in each nostril per day. I decided to split it so I did 1 in each nostril in the morning and evening.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe both suffer from Hayfever and sometimes it can be really crazy.

    Package Content:
    1x Hayfever Nasal Spray
    1x Leaflet

With the summer come in early this year the hayfever has been really crazy and very irritating. Using is quite simple, simply insert the nozzle in your nose and push the bottle to spray in. It will start its magic in few minutes. It certainly reduces itchy and watery eyes.

What I have heard recently is consuming local produce honey is good for hayfever since the production of the honey is from the local pollination it can help in controlling hayfever. I haven’t tried it myself but i have heard about it. Would be very happy to hear if anyone here have tried that before and its effect.

We generally buy over the counter but this year since the lockdown with limited movement and travel restrictions ordered this online for the first time.

Quite happy with the quick delivery, surely i am going to order this online whenever possible.

NOTE: this product is for Adults only.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks very well but you don’t seem to get a lot of sprays for your Bucks The bottle and Nozzle seems to be designed to make the amount you get bigger when in fact it’s a lot smaller dose say you gets 60 sprays but I doubt that very much. My Hayfever was so bad I bought three different nasal sprays and this one had the least amount in it so just bear that in mind.

I always doubt products for hayfever, rarely something works with me and I had given up. Then this year I decided to try again with something new. It could be that the weather was already changing when I started using this product, but I was feeling better after the first days of use. Will probably buy again next year.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersBrilliant!!! I can’t believe I’ve only just found out about this. I struggle with hay fever mostly during the spring seasons & this year I’ve struggled very badly and considering lock down due to COVID19 I haven’t been able to get the Piriton syrup and the tablet forms do F all. So I tried this… it does have a strange smell/taste but goes within seconds and isn’t really much of a bother to me but it has settled down my hay fever a lot! I honestly couldn’t believe how affective it is! The only down side is, it gives me a mild headache afterwards.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI suffer with really bad hayfever during the peak pollen season in June and July. Block nose, running nose, bad head, excessive sneezing, itchy eyes, the lot! I’ve found this to be the best nasal spray on the market at reducing my symptoms and making my days more bearable. Far better than Beconase. The only downside is it’s size, as others have stated. You’ll have an empty bottle in about 2 weeks, but I can’t deny it’s a game changer for hayfever sufferers.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this regularly for decongestant for diving and freediving. It works well and I was advised by the doctor that I could use this regularly. Would be good if it didn’t come with a large and seemingly unnecessary green plastic cap? I liked this because it was glass and more environmentally friendly so not sure why the huge green cap is needed?? I think a smaller one would serve the same purpose.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis has been an absolute god send for my husband who suffers really badly with hayfever. He has tried everything possible and nothing has worked as well as this. The recent rising temperatures really put this to the test and he had no symptoms of hayfever at all. I bought this in conjunction with Allacan Cetirizine Hayfever Allergy Tablets (3 months supply – also on Amazon) and with the two combined you wouldn’t think he suffered from hayfever at all. I would highly recommend if you have really severe allergies or hayfever to buy both and use together. It has honestly been a battle for years and was so bad that he used to dread the summer months. He is totally hayfever free and I don’t have to listen to the choking, coughing and constant blowing of the runny nose – bonus!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCan’t believe I didn’t find this sooner! I work in an air conditioned office (it’s cold with a constant draft) in a plastics factory which for some reason, causes me to have a constant runny nose, watery eyes, drowsiness and sneeze all day long..I’d go through a pack of tissues a day! I had tried all kinds of allergy tablets etc, however nothing would resolve this making my working days so uncomfortable. I saw these and purchased it based on other positive reviews and I am so impressed with the effect it has taken within the first few sprays! It’s completely eliminating all my symptoms to the point where I’m not blowing my nose once a work! I feel so much better and healthier. No longer feel like I have a permanent heavy cold. It isn’t uncomfortable to spray up your nostrils either, doesn’t sting or smell, it just feels like a spray of water. I do this first thing in the morning before leaving the house. So anyone who is full of allergies and has a sensitive nose, purchase this…you really won’t regret it!…Only negative…it could be a bigger bottle but the price is good for what you get.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve had to suffer for years with every alergie going but this seems to help. The reason I’ve only giving it 4 star’s is because the bottle is very small so you only get just over a week out of it. The best way to use this is before the actual alergie starts to prevent the symptoms..i use the minute i open my eyes as I’ve found over the years that if the symptoms start before you’ve taken the antihistamines/sprays it’s harder to stop.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI have used over-the-counter decongestants containing oxymetazoline, phenylephrine or xylometazoline for far too long, suffering rebound congestion as a consequence. Several visits to doctors and even nasal surgery to enlarge the passages did little to improve the situation.

Pirinase was recommended to me by a friend with severe hay fever. I went ‘cold turkey’ on the traditional decongestants and started taking the Pirinase once a day at the recommended dose. It took about 3 days to start having an effect, but the results were excellent. I am now completely free of the harsh, chemical decongestants; maintaining clear airways by taking half the recommended dose of Pirinase (i.e. one squirt up each nostril) each day.

It hasn’t quite changed my life, but it’s definitely improved it! Well worth a try if you’re hooked on the more aggressive decongestants.
