Purchased to upgrade my microscope monitor, it was somewhat lighter than expected and works great.
have not used the touchscreen due to the use i put it to.
had a issue initially and customer services sorted this out in a very rapid manner so thumbs up for me on this one.
Great 2nd monitor for hardware monitoring to go with my PC, only downside, with windows 11 the touch screen works, but on my main monitor, it’s acting like a mouse, so where I point on this monitor it appears on my 32″ Samsung odyssey…..
UPDATE: You have go into “tablet settings” in windows, just search for it in settings…. works a charm now..
I dont think the brightness is near 400cd/m2. When the brightness increases the contrast becomes unusable for anything else than office application.
Good value for the money. Useful feature like hub and passthrough charging.
Very good for the price.
Had to perform a reset on it, as colours were all out but the reset made it perfect .
Just wish there was option to rotate screen for when you want to mirror phone screen.
You know immediately when switching on for the first time that there are going to be the usual Chinese quality issues. The screen starts with a message: “swipe down with tyo fingers…” and you can see that the manufacturer is not prioritising attention to detail and cannot even correctly spell “two”. If you bother with the user manual you will be reading pigeon English. Fortunately the pathetic leaflet is superfluous anyway.
The main issue with the monitor itself is a poor implementation of the touch screen. It works fine provided you can supply enough current to the input port in addition to the unit’s power supply. None of my Raspberry Pi computers can do it, throwing up an over-current error and getting too hot very quickly. A PC is ok as is a laptop but don’t have it on battery. The brightness is set at 100 per cent and cannot therefore be increased. For me, the setting is just right but if you prefer bright screens, don’t buy this one. Otherwise though, the screen is usable and the picture quality is acceptable.
Works great, on windows 10, wasn’t plug and go for me had to set it up in windows. The main issue I had was it only seemed to work as a touch screen monitor if I placed the USB c in the 1st port. Not the one next to the HDMI. Setting up was easy after I found a video on You Tube of people setting up similar screens for use in flight simulator set ups….All in all very pleased…Works great as a mixer in FL studios…..and is very responsive and easy to use….
I bought this to facilitate small group working and as a second screen for my work laptop. The screen is not bright enough even with the brightness turned to max, but this seems to be a problem with the connection cable that was supplied or with the connector on the side. The touch screen could also be more precise, as it is, it is a bit twitchy and jumpy.
Bought this to use with a Raspberry Pi 5, and it works fine, it’s also a great 2nd monitor for my laptop when I’m away from my desk.
I got the touch screen working with a Raspberry Pi although it seems to be limited to single finger use. The Raspberry Pi when using a official RPi 5 amp power supply, could power the screen from its USB 3 port without any warnings, but of course you also need HDMI cable too.
The screen is bright, clear and sharp.
Pleased with this purchase, and would happily recommend i
When I first got this out of the box, I was a little wary. It felt too light and plastic. But I withheld judgement until trying it and I’m glad I did. It connected flawlessly to my S22 Ultra and the touchscreen was nice and responsive. It was at this point that I realised that the weight and materials make a lot of sense as it’s quite easy to hold.
Here’s a list of clear pro’s:
– 16:10 resolution
– Matte screen!
– Full-size HDMI port
– Stand
The stand doesn’t quite click back into place making incorrectly think the seam was splitting. It’s not bad though; it’s quite stiff so can be adjusted a bit and it allows you to hold the monitor like an artist’s pallette. How cultured.
The brightness seems good and there are a few settings to play with. I haven’t connected it to anything else yet, but I’ll update this review once I have.
Update: I’ve tested it on a Windows 11 laptop via USB-C and it worked immediately. The touchscreen also workedw wprked without issue; I’m currently typing on it. I’ll update once I’ve tested on a Macbook Pro and 7 year old Core i5 mini-PC
Update: I’ve now had the opportunity to connect this to a Windows PC using HDMI. Naturally, the touchscreen won’t work in this instance. I took a chance on using one of the included USB to C cables to connect one of the USB-C parts on the monitor to a USB port on the PC. It worked pretty much immediately and was flawless. This was Windows 11, so when I can, I’ll update with a Windows 10 review
I buy from Amazon all the time but never leave reviews, but this monitor deserves it.
Lovely colours, super light but feels nice – absolutely perfect touch, it comes with a power supply and cables etc and has a HDMI port and a few USB C’s and USB A etc
I literally plugged just one USB C from it into the MacBook and it sprung into life, no need for a power supply, the touch worked perfectly instantly – and all the remaining sockets on it work great for memory sticks/dongles etc Absolutely brilliant!!
I have a question. The power adapter should be connected to one of 3 different cables, or should it be separated with a longer cable?
ThatUSB-CC cables are very, very short.
The manual book shows a longer cable from the power adapte
