These little gadgets are always helpful to have in your bits and bobs box. Over the years with progress of computers sometimes you need these little helpers when you perhaps need to mix and match with older hardware that still works.
These are perfect for the new iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad charging cables – got them to use in the fixed usb chargers in the house and means I can use the old style charging cube when needed – also great for on public transport etc!
Bought this as I purchased a iPhone MagSafe charger at the same time that needed a USB-C charger. However as I already have a high wattage USB-A multi-charger I wanted to re-use that so purchased this to be able to covert the charger to USB-C.
The adaptor feels solidly made and well constructed and isn’t getting to hot even with a 15W load connected to it (Most of the heat feels to be pulled from the adaptor itself rather than a resistive heat being generated in the adaptor)
If you just bought a new phone with USB-C and need/want to re-use your old USB-A charger this is a great little purchase at just under 2 for one or just under 4 for 3 of them this is cheaper and more wallet friendly than buying a whole new charger.
