I was surprised by the quality of the bands when they arrived. I’m usually hesitant about putting my whole weight on bands, but felt at ease with this set.

They have a great construction and are adjustable with the amount of resistance they give, but at the end of the day, it’s just a small aid.

Extremely helpful to get beginners doing pull-ups! I Love it! And my Hubby who resists workouts will actually use it because he thinks it’s fun! Lol. Also very versatile in use for other exercises for arms! Great product!

I recently got the ALongSong Pull Up Assistance Bands Set, and these bands have been an absolute game-changer in my fitness journey. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, these resistance bands offer a versatile and effective way to level up your strength training.

The set includes three pairs of bands, each with a different resistance level, offering a total of 40lbs of adjustable assistance. This variety allows you to tailor your workouts to your current fitness level and progressively increase the challenge as you grow stronger. It’s an ideal choice for men and women of all fitness backgrounds.

The fabric pad for feet and knees is a standout feature. It provides a comfortable and secure grip, ensuring that the bands won’t slip during exercises. This is not only essential for safety but also makes your workouts more effective and less frustrating.

The anti-snap design of these bands is a crucial aspect. I’ve had concerns about traditional latex resistance bands snapping, which can be dangerous. These fabric-coated bands, on the other hand, are far more durable and reliable, giving me peace of mind during my workouts.

The versatility of these bands is a huge plus. You can use them for a wide range of exercises, from assisted pull-ups and chin-ups to resistance training for legs, arms, and core muscles.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is one of the highest LB lift assist pull up helper I have seen. If you use the grip as a foot grip and one leg then you can actually even split this into 2 separate pull up assist devices up to 120 lbs each. Nots this is at the stretched position, as you work your way up there will be much less assist.

I do think this is great though as you can actually possibly have more assist than your own weight in the bottom position but work on strengthening the upper portions of a pull up while training. This will help one get the full training motion range of assist before putting it all together. If you struggle for that last few inches to get your chin over the bar load it to full and just do that last 6-8 inches.

For those new to pullups or who have never been able to do them unassisted this gives a good platform to offset all your weight and play with the length of pull to slowly work bands off of the assist.

The swing base is also kind of neat. I had never used an assist that uses both feet, but you can here. Likewise if you want to get pushup assist it seems good for that. Overall great versatile gym aid for the price.

    Great pull-up bands overall.

They offer great resistance and keep that resistance in place, even under tension. So they are great for my workouts.

The handles are comfortable too, even with sweaty hands, and they make the actions a lot easier to perform.

Hubby joined the gym and wanted these for when he’s having a non gym day, they are incredibly resistant and versatile and can be used in a range of different ways. Offers really good support and has helped increase his performance

The bands and the metal hardware are very robust. Best of all the wide foot/knee rest greatly reduces the chance the possibility of accidentally having a band smack you in the crotch.

If you looking to have a great workout at home an miss all the fuss of going to a busy gym I would highly recommend resistance bands.
You can literally do 99 percent of the exercises you would do in a gym with the bands pretty easily.
The band are great quality with a very good range of weight.
A bonus is you can stake the weight up as well .
    Highly highly recommended.

This pull-up assistance bands set is a great way to improve your pull-up strength. The bands are made of high-quality materials and are built to last. They are also adjustable, so you can increase the resistance as you get stronger.

I’ve been using these bands for a few weeks now and I’m very happy with them. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my pull-up strength since I started using them. I can now do more pull-ups with less assistance.

The bands are also very easy to use. You can simply loop them around a pull-up bar and then wrap them around your feet or knees. The bands provide just the right amount of resistance to help you do more pull-ups.

This is a set of three pairs of what is essentially elastic bands but on a more industrial scale which essentially means that you can do a bunch of different exercises or with different levels of resistance there can be adjusted as you get stronger and stronger. They can be used as an individual exercise by themselves or added onto things like pull up bars in order to create less resistance and build that muscle before they’re moving on to doing freestyle lifts. Quality wise they seem to be reasonably good I do like the specific add on of a cloth that covers over the elastics themselves which makes them feel a lot more protective makes me feel better about them not breaking and snapping in my face.

This gym set is really good in quality. The nylon is good, all jointing parts are good, the carabiners are strong. I have not tried on all settings yet. But I think resistance band is 40 lbs each is a good arrangement. So I can do it with only one resistance band, while my partner can use two or more for high strength intensity. The material used for handles are comfortable, won’t feel too sweaty while using it.

Quality craftsmanship and adjustability make these bands a versatile pick for home workouts. Different resistance levels catered to my fitness progression. The fabric pad for feet and knees added comfort, especially during intense training sessions.

I have quite a serious issue with my lower back from working out too hard over the years and I completely did it in during lockdown.

I have quite bad disc deteriation in L4-S1, prolapsing, bulging, fissures and height loss. This was confirmed to me this year after two MRIs and several specialist visits.

This has meant I’ve had to completely stop certain routines and most days can be incapacitated with the slightest straining.

I’m currently waiting for surgery but need to build strength for everyday living- it can be catch 22 – but whenever I attempt the pain is overwhelming.

I wanted an aid which could assist with building as I’ve avoided the pull-up bar for so long. I have a small gym area in a spare room with the bar across that door.

I’ve found this has helped reducing pressure immensely. The way the foot brace works is to give extra support when pulling up.

You can hold the bar directly or within the box you have hand grips which can be attached. As you’re going through the motions the foot brace allows extra support and due to the straps being flexible, you can elevate your legs up correctly and hold that position safely without strain. It allows for equal distribution on your muscles and assists with the lifting process.

Instead of midair crunches (which are very bad for my condition) the brace allows you to hold the correct posture with your legs forward. It holds against your feet so you don’t slip and allows a perfect pull-up while reducing pressure on your lumbar.

It’s early days but seems to be working. I wouldn’t even be able to do a pull-up ordinarily due to pain and risk.

You can adjust the length needed and it has everything you need in the box. I particularly like the carry case, it’s compact and can be easily stored.

What sturdy pull-up bands these are! My husband was able to install them with ease and they do help in his workout routine. Furthermore, they are comfortable to hold and come with 6 resistant bands. The harness can be adjusted in length as well. Good value for money. Highly recommended

Good quality set of assistance bands. Great aid for working out. Just what I needed to help me with pull up until I gained enough strength to do them independently. Gave me confidence in my work outs. Currently priced at 35.99 which I feel is reasonable for the quality.

I love the fact that these are very versatile and can be used for a variety of exercises, not just to assist you in doing pull ups. They are well made and I feel safe using them. You can adjust the amount of help you need by adding or taking away bands which is really helpful. I found it a little tricky to set up but that’s probably just me. Really happywiththese!

First and foremost, the build quality of these assistance bands is exceptional. The anti snap fabric pad provides an extra layer of protection, ensuring durability and longevity and I say this because ive tried other bands in the past that have snapped during intense workouts, but with these, I feel confident and safe throughout my exercises.

The adjustable resistance feature is another standout aspect of these bands., with 3 pairs each offering a different level of resistance, i was able to progress my training gradually whether I was performing pullups, chinups, or various other exercises, i could easily switch between bands to match my strength level and challenge myself appropriately.

One of the things I appreciate the most about these is their versatility because besides assisting with pullups and chinups, I found these bands to be highly effective for a wide range of exercises from bicep curls and tricep extensions to squats and lunges, these bands provided the perfect amount of resistance to target various muscle groups.

The ability to perform a fullbody workout using just one set of bands is incredibly convenient, specially for those who prefer exercising at home or on the go.

Comfort is another area where these bands excel because the fabric padding on these ensures a comfortable experience, even during long workout sessions. i never experienced any discomfort or irritation on my skin allowing me to focus solely on my form and performance.

Overall, these bands have proven to be a valuable addition to my fitness routine. The combination of durability, adjustable resistance, comfort, and versatility makes them a good choice.

Seems to be a good set so far. Son uses resistance bands when doing various exercises and these using combined with home gym seem to be rather ok for purpose he’s using them for. Helps that you can use and build up the weight as and when needing to do so.
Come inside their own storage bag which is good if using them whilst staying away but still wanting to do your regular workout.

I’ve acquired a fair bit of gym equipment over the years, including a power tower, but I’ve always struggled with pull ups on it, which is where these assistance bands come in handy.

Each band has 40lbs of resistance and there are 6 in total, giving a maximum of 240lbs, but you can add and remove the band’s to your requirements.

All of the equipment feels of good quality, so I’d expect it to last a good number of years and not snap on me as some resistance bands I’ve owned in the past have.

All in all, it’s a good set of resistance bands for the price.

I hope you found this review helpful.

These do help with pull ups, even though it does take a little setting up. They also have a variety of uses beyond that and the set has a robust feel and you get a sling, the resistance bands which provide varying loads/support and the straps that attach to the bar, as well as handles for other exercises.

I received the product well-packaged in a well-branded box and the bands come in their own storage bag. These pull-up Assistance bands come with complete accessories for 2 people who can train together at the same time. The set is perfect for me who is just starting out with pull-ups with proper form especially since I work out at home and don’t have the luxury of using machines or racks with built-in assists.

These pull-up assistance bands are a versatile and efficient tool to improve physical strength and fitness level in the comfort of your home. Moreover, they are well-made, robust, and heavy-duty and are suitable for various workouts, including chin-ups, stretching and strength training.

The set comes with a leg/knees pad which enhances the overall experience, making it comfortable and safe to use. Easy to set up with each part just clipping to each other. Overall, It’s a versatile piece of kit as it can be used at home; be easily taken to a gym, or used in a suitable outside location. I have only used the product on my own and cannot comment on its use with two people at the same time.

When you first start out exercising with pull ups you do need a bit of help and this does that
The straps are sturdy and the bands are also encased in an anti snap fabric just to keep the oxidisation of the rubber down and have the peace of mind that they shouldn’t snap on you
