Quest 3 Head Strap Auyuiiy Compatible with Meta Quest 3

Quest 3 Head Strap Auyuiiy Compatible with Meta Quest 3, Adjustable Elite Strap Replacement VR Accessories for Oculus Quest 3 Enhanced Comfort Support and Gaming Immersion in VR
Comfortable head strap for Meta Quest 3, enhanced support to play longer

Bought for my son who recently got a meta quest, the standard strap was causing discomfort whilst using the vr headset.
He loves the new strap and makes it so much more comfy to use and we’ve had no complaints since
It is definitely better than the original head strap yet it does not cost a fortune. It does not have a lot of reviews but i can confirm now this is good and a lot easier to adjust.
I purchased one of these as a stopgap until the Meta Elite with Battery is back being sold again, just to replace the awful strap that came with my quest 3 (really Meta?! I mean…REALLY?). I purchased for about 23 and I thought I might as well give it a go. Hugely surprised that the Auyuiiy has turned out to be such a great piece of kit. In fact I’d have been happy to pay 40-50.
It’s very well built, integrates with quest 3 perfectly, is light, comfortable, easy to use. I country mile better than the basic Meta strap. What more can say? I suppose the only issue is that it sticks out a bit at the back so not as good for leaning your head back when sitting in chair or in bed. But that I assume is the same with all these types of mechanism Including the expensive ones.
It has no battery built in so I am currently just connecting to a power brick which I stick in my pocket. Well if that’s good enough for the Apple Vission Pro why not my Quest 3?
I’m now thinking that this is just such a good setup that I’m going to give the Meta Elite with Battery a miss. Maybe use the money save to get some prescription lenses.
One caveat is that I haven’t tried any other head band. Perhaps others are actually even more comfortable. All I can say is I’m happy with the huge improvement this offers over the Meta rubbishy band.
Was concerned as there wasn’t that many reviews and I haven’t heard of the brand before. But I am pleasantly surprised. I can wear the headset for hours at a time with no discomfort.
Recommended! Much better than the strap the quest 3 comes with
This is better to use than the basic strap that comes with the meta quest 3. It was easy enough to replace with instructions in the packaging.
The good thing about this is that it makes it easier to place on and off while wearing glasses. The adjustable strap is also a fit for my 13 year old son to be able to use. It also feels good as in it isn’t going to slip about or feel like it’s going to fall off. I got this during Black Friday so got a good price. I would recommend this particularly if you wear glasses as it is much easier to place on and off.
I had a Kiwi headstrap on my Quest 2, and the fabric strap that comes with the Quest 3 isn’t too comfortable after a while. I noticed this headset in the black Friday sales for an excellent price ,this associated with the many good reviews tempted my to buy it. First impressions are great. It’s easy to fit onto the Quest 3, and the increased comfort over the default strap is immediately noticeable. It’s seems to be constructed well and will be staying fitted to my Quest 3 for a long time.
Very good quality, very nice and simple design. There is very little pressure on the face when worn, and it can be worn for a long time without any discomfort. It is highly recommended to buy it.
I wanted something to help alleviate the problem by distributing the weight of the whole headset more effectively than the stock strap, and so I purchased this one.
It took a couple of minutes to remove the stock strap and fit this out of the box. There is a small instruction leaflet included if you get stuck.
As you can see in the picture, this replacement has a semi-rigid plastic band instead of the material strap and an oval shaped pad for the back of your head. The band is hinged and the read pad moves slightly (deliberately) to give you more leeway when trying to find the best area on your head to wear it. I am bald, so finding the exact spot is not as big an issue for me compared to someone with a full head of hair.
Once you have the headset on, you can adjust the padded strap on top so that it applies just the right amount of support for the front and back areas on top of your head.
You then turn the circular wheel at the rear to fasten the whole thing to your head. The difference between this and the stock strap is night and day in terms of fit and comfort.
Instead of the faceplate of the Quest 3 pressing painfully against my face, I now have an even and more gentle pressure. As the pressure is evened out, it is no longer painful to wear against my face. It’s still not 100% comfortable for long periods, but this is due to the poor design of the padding on the Quest 3 faceplate and nothing to do with the replacement strap.
There’s no discomfort at all with the rest of the headset when this replacement strap is fitted and it feels much lighter overall because the weight isn’t all being supported by your face anymore.
I’d recommend this strap replacement and wish Meta had included it with the Quest 3 instead of the dreadful stock strap.
I couldn’t stand the default headstrap that comes with the Quest 3 after having a halo strap for the Q2. I took a chance on this one as the price was okay (and 30+ less than the Meta version) and I’m pleased to say it’s excellent – very easy to fit and comfy to wear.
Hopefully it’ll stand the test of time as it’s a product I would like to continue using!
One of the biggest things I noticed about the Auyuiiy strap is how well it distributes the weight of the headset. The original strap can be quite heavy on your face after a while, but the Auyuiiy strap spreads the weight evenly across your head. This makes it much more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
