This device has a very small footprint and a pleasant look. Yes it comes with 4 batteries and one battery lasts for several days with infrequent use of the controller, perhaps 20 hours total time which is not bad.
(From my original 2 star review) However when placing the battery in the base to charge I noticed two things:
1) The charger light stays green all the time. It does not turn red to indicate the battery is charging as described in the item listing. This is very important for a device of this type so you know when the battery is fully charged and to take it out of the charger.
2) The battery ROCKS in the base. It does not fit the slot snugly as expected. Now the contacts in the bottom of the slot are spring loaded which make me think they might be contacting with the battery but I can’t be sure.
UPDATE (28/11/2023): I wanted to make sure I was doing this item justice with my review and after seeing so many positive reviews I was wondering if there was something I had missed. One Vine Voice Reviewer had included a small video (thank you for that) that shows that you have to push the battery down into the slot with a bit of pressure and it makes a small click. I did not see this in the instructions and was just dropping the batteries into the slots but obviously they were not properly engaged. When I pushed the batteries down then hey-presto, the charging indicator turned red and the batteries didn’t rock in the slot anymore so the item does operate as described and I have changed my ratings accordingly.
Heavy use will get you about a day out of these. But there are 4 of them and easy enough to change. Indicator lights for each battery back for charging/full.
I’ve been very regularly using these batteries since I got them, which has been over a month now. They are such a simple way to use rechargeable batteries. I really have no complaints, and I would recommend.
This charger is very useful charger for gamers, it has 4 Batteries which it can charge all at one or in any combination.
I use these batteries on my Xbox S wireless and on a long session it takes seconds to just pop in a new battery from the charging ring. You can look at the ring and see which batteries are charged and ready to go.
I found the charger to be well made and works flawlessly. The batteries last for a while as well which is a bonus so you get many hours of enjoyment from the all the batteries. Often find that the first battery is ready to go again after the 4th runs out.
Value for money and recommended.

We really like the charging indicators – read means charging; green means charged and no light means idle. It’s incredibly easily to tell which batteries are charging and which are charged.
All four charging slots can be used independently.

Decent battery charge rate (5 hours) and game time (~15-20 hours) and each battery is rechargeable up to 2000 times!
Good anti-slip feet so this stays stable by the Xbox or wherever you wish to charge.
Built-in overcharge, over current, overheat and short circuit protection noting that we can’t test these so taken in good faith! The unit does some kind of self-test each time it powers on but no real details as to what this is doing

This is an amazing buy…especially with how the prices of everything are going up…it’s an amazing thing to have. I really enjoy not having to worry that i will run out of batteries for my controller. These last a long while…long enough for my back and neck to stiffen up so i would realize how much time has passed. I would wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone. Great quality…very easy to use and keep on display. Amazing value for money.
Genuine Xbox batteries are rated at 1200mAh, whereas the batteries included in this product are rated at 2600mAh and as they run at a higher voltage of 2.4v, these batteries should give you long play time as well as prolonged battery life.

Setup and operation is super straight forward. After plugging the USB-C cable into a power source (make sure it’s not above 5v), the batteries can be installed into the individual ports – you don’t need to charge all 4 at any one time and any vacant ports will be illuminated as green.
After placing the batteries into their individual ports within the dock, the LED bar that corresponds with each battery port will show as red while charging and will change to a static green once fully charged. Once fully discharged, it took just under 5 hours to fully charge all 4 batteries.
My only niggle with the product is that the USB-B port on the side of the dock is too low down on the casing? If that makes sense? which doesn’t allow the dock to sit fully flush with whatever surface it’s sitting on. Beyond that, the build quality feels good and it’s compact enough that it’s easy enough to store and the non-slip feet are handy as the last dock I had would slip around when you’re trying to install or remove the batteries.
While I’m far from a technical person and am only a relatively inexperienced gamer, I’m very happy with these batteries and charging dock.
In a gaming household, batteries like these are a must. The unit is a neat housing for the four battery packs, and the high MaH means they last longer before needing to swap over. It’s good that you can insert the batteries either way, handy when you have smaller kids who just jam them in any old way round! The actual batteries themselves have a sticker applied round them, and when compared to similar products, they could have been applied a little neater. This doesn’t detract from the ability of the batteries, just a minor gripe. The lights make it really easy to tell if they are charging or not, but may be bright in a darkened room – should avoid playing with the lights off really anyway! All in all, very pleased with this set.
As a streamer and avid gamer, I tend to go through controller batteries and cables quite often, which can not only prove expensive, it can be inconvenient when a controller is out of action.
This 2600mAh x4 battery kit is just the thing to keep the show on the road and the batteries fit my Series S/X controller and also fit my previous generation One S controllers. All makes for easy switching and recharging. The batteries take a few hours to recharge from empty and the battery life and gaming time are also very good.
Perfect for a stocking filler and definitely better value than official batteries where a single battery and cable costs around the same as the 4 in this great little kit.

Well, this is a hit! You get the base station, four rechargeable batteries and a USB-C cable. The base station is well-made and has the added bonus of looking like a spaceship, especially when it is lit up. When the batteries are charging, they are red and when they’re charged, they change to a vivid green.
You get all of the usual protection factors for things such as over-charging, over-current, over-voltage and short circuit, and you can’t put a battery in the wrong way, as it has the automatic polarity change system. The four batteries can be charged at once, take about 5 hours and give you around 25 hours worth of playing time.
The batteries are quick to change and fit well into the handset with very little, if any movement at all. The packaging is good, with a printed box that keeps the item secure for transit.
At the time of writing this review, the cost is around 60, which is really good value for what you get. Happy to recommend.
The item itself is great and allows you to charge 4 battery’s at once meaning you will never be without. Stand is good and doesn’t look out of place sitting on the tv unit next to Xbox. Batteries are great and hold charge really well and I seem to get around 18 hours of out a battery when it has been fully charged. The only downside I experienced was one of the battery’s provided simply doesn’t work. It has been on charge for hours and simply does not power the Xbox controller. All other 3 battery’s working perfectly and charging correctly so guessing I was just unlucky in receiving a faulty one. All in all great product and I find it great value for money provided all your battery’s work correctly.
I used to have a pretty similar one, but I gave it to a friend as I also had a rechargeable dock/pad one. That was a big mistake as I would often have a long play session, run the pad out, and have to go battery hunting instead of just sliding a charged pack in.
The charger comes with four 2600mAh Rechargeable Battery Packs, which is even better than my old 1200mAh one, and a USB C cable.
The batteries are rated at 2600mAh and last around 20 hours. You can insert the packs into the charger in any direction, as the charger changes polarity automatically.
One pack of batteries is always charged so I can quickly swap when I need to. It is convenient to simply plug a pack in and not have to deal with individual batteries.
The charger itself looks great and is well made. The colour changes to red to show they are charging, and green when done.
At the end of the day, you can buy four branded batteries and a charger for around 20, so it really comes down to how lazy you are fiddling around with individual batteries or using a pack, as despite getting four packs, you would only really need two. It turns out, I am very lazy and this is much easier to put in the controller and charger, it also looks great on my desk. Also at 2600mAh they will get you many hours before you need to change the pack.
As with most things used frequently, and for extended periods, console controllers get through batteries rather quickly. My Grandson uses his X-Box for sometimes hours at a time, and quite regularly (as do lots of youngsters), so using rechargeable batteries is a convenient, and more cost-effective method of powering the controllers.
This product comprises a charger and 4 x high capacity, 2600 mA/H batteries. The charger is USB powered (USB C, which is good), and comes complete with a good quality USB cable. The charger is quite light and compact (circular), with LED illumination of each port, red when charging, and green when charged / no battery present, which is a good and useful visual indicator.
As noted, the batteries are high capacity (2600 mA/H), and the charger has smart over-charge, over-current, over-voltage, thermal, and short-circuit protection. A great feature is auto-polarity adapting, so you don’t have to check the batteries are inserting in the charger with the correct polarity.
In summary, this is a very good product that works well, without issue.. Good all-round. Good quality, recommended.

That one thing is it doesn’t have a charging connector on the flat edge surface so it can be compatible with other charging methods, easier charging methods in fact, you know those charging stations that you just pop the controller on top of and it charges, well this requires you to take out the battery and swap it over for charging not very convenient, however it does last a long time 2nd longest in fact of any battery I’ve used on the xbox.
I typically use AA batteries with 2900mah each totalling over 4,000-5,000mah that is probably the bare maximum battery you can buy for any xbox controller 1.2 or 1.5v though but are of different voltage than these ones which are 2.4v and can also be charged around 2000 times before they don’t work as good, and need proper battery recycle when the time comes, but 2,000x is a long long time away possibly more than 5-10 years depending on use.
The lifespan and size of these batteries are very good they last a long long time as the higher voltage 2.4v means it is more efficient than a lower voltage 1.2v and 1.5v Since it has less energy loss from resistance given the same amount of power drawn so it may in fact last longer than a 2,900mah batteryx2 and I can’t test this out properly because i don’t have the necessary equipment or battery capacity, but this is what I’ve always known for years the 1.5v last longer than the 1.2v even when they are the same power.
So these 2.4v 2600mah should last a really long time seeing as how it uses the power more efficiently than a typical AA battery set. So the only issue I have with this is as mentioned, the compatibility with my charging station, which it doesn’t have. I would have rated 5/5 if it had both side to front circuit charging connections as well.
This product doesn’t work on the xbox360 or before controllers, but works on xbox one and anything that came after to this date 17th October 2022. In the future who knows if Microsoft will change the way they charge the controllers but I do hope it stays the same as being backwards compatible saves materials as we re-use it, saves money and is better for environment, unlike what they did with Sony’s controllers which are not good for environment, and hard to replace when they run out of power. I prefer the Xbox and this battery is proof that recycle energy is best for life.
Instructions-
To insert into the controller, start from left and push in, make sure the 2600mah is facing outwards you can’t go wrong it only goes in one way, but on the charging pad it doesn’t matter which side it charges as long as the metal pins are facing down.
Plug the devices usb into a device that has 5v 2A power, like a computer or any usb port that can charge, so it charges at the max speed you need 5v 2A which is typically standard for most usb charging devices.
It charges when its red, when its full it stays green, once green unplug the power.
If the battery is nearly full it might be red again but it will turn green after a short while, so it will turn green a lot sooner if its nearly full it is probably topping up typical common sense stuff. I used it on the xbox one controller and Xbox series X no issues except for making me take it out every time I want to change, luckily this isn’t often thanks to the high 2600mah battery that loses power much slower than your typical AA battery.
I like it and recommend it 4/5 Near perfect long lasting battery for a good 2 player never ending setup.
Already had a rechargeable battery but only had 1 so once the battery had gone I was running around for AA while it recharged. This set is way better as it’s got a dock and 4 batteries so you will never run out. I can just grab the next battery whilst in battle or whatever and carry on whilst it charges.. lasts for ages and charges fast. Red lights for charging, green for charged.
What more can you ask for. Would make a great gift too.

The battery packs fit into the Xbox controller perfectly, with no rattling about in the controller.
It’s amazing that you get 4 packs so you always have a battery ready to go no matter what, and they pop out quick, and they pop in quick, so you have undisturbed gaming time.
This is a well-designed product, it looks amazing, it’s reasonably priced for the 4 batteries & docking station.
And because it looks like a spacecraft I love it even more.
