I love it when I have an old console and suddenly out of no where someone has the same thoughts and makes a case for it! The GameBoy Micro came out in 2005 and now it is 2023 some 18 years later and I can get a nice case for it! How cool is that! The case is a plastic shell covered in material like a Switch case and others. I felt it was pretty strong and now my GBA Micro has a new home.
Just being able to get something made for a product that came out 18 years ago is very cool. It is a snug fit in there, but it will protect your GB Micro. Mine could be snug since I have a silicone protector already on it.
This case is a perfect fit for a Micro. However, even though it has a mesh pouch in the top, I wouldn’t recommend putting anything in there. With a game in the pocket, it’s a very tight fit and could possibly scratch the screen. The case itself is fairly sturdy and feels good. The strap holds your Gameboy in place and the carabiner is a nicer accessory. Overall, of you need to protect your Micro, this is a great option. Just don’t expect to have space for much more.
