I like it. It’s good for collecting the clean dishes as I don’t use too much the dishes washing. The size is suitable for different kitchens and it’s easy to install.
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. I can’t even remember how long ago I bought it, its so long ago. Its a brilliant drainer. It looks great, it works great and the colour is fabulous
Bought this dish drainer to replace a previous one that was similar due to the legs corroding with use.
It was good value for the price paid, and seems very stable, even when fully loaded.
It was very easy to put together, it only took a few bolts.
For the price I paid and how good it looks, I cannot fault it at all.
Nice looking drainer and easy to assemble but I should have measured my drainer before ordering. I had to remove the cup/glass rack as it was in the way of the tap and I have stood the cutlery drainer separately as complete it was to long for the draining board .
Really like this ,it has a few down sides thou. Firstly the bit where cups hang need to be balanced weight as it tips.
Secondly the nut covers snaped of so now it does not have them and now I have to buy them separately as it looks odd without them covering the bolts.
had some issues with the initial one, as it looked like some QC issues needed fixed with the metal plating and low quality building tools and accessories, but after receiving a replacement was satisfied with the second drainer.
Some QC need improving such as the bolts and instructions that are confusing, as well as increasing the size of the print to read them properly, and the little spanner was so cheaply manufactured i had to use my own to tighten the bolts, although not to had as they (the first one i had) simply snapped right off after hand turning them.
feel that it could have done this an upgrade to the manufacturing and quality of the parts and accessories.
It’s a really cute dish drainer and I have wanted 1 that’s pink for awhile now. It looks great in my kitchen and I love using it but the down side is that it isn’t strong and not really sturdy. It does move. The 1 comment on here saying we just haven’t built it right is wrong. I read the instructions and did what I was supposed to and its still not sturdy. I have noticed it also has 2 dodgy screws the reason it’s a bit wobbly. But apart from that it really isn’t that bad. I can still use it.
I was embarrassingly excited to receive this item and probably need to get out more.
Initially impressed with the size, sturdiness and look but it was frustratingly slow to assemble due to lack of directions in or on the box. Managed eventually using the picture on the box and common sense as I am an experienced self assembler and it looks and feels exactly what I wanted and hoped for.
Suspect the nuts may need tightening from time to time after a lot of use so recommend keeping the tiny wrench provided in a safe place.
Took a while to position on our round draining surface for ease of use and sturdiness but the moveable legs do at provide options.
Plate stacker sections could do with being higher as it is a bit temperamental and causes the domino effect if not carefully stacked. The glass draining section is also good for mugs/cups but tips unless they are stacked onto and removed from the centre hooks first.
Much easier to keep clean than traditional plastic drainers, particularly the drip tray as it slides out easily, can be rinsed after use and left to dry upside down on the top or bottom shelves. Only the based of the cutlery holder needs thorough cleaning but the opaque plastic base makes it obvious when it needs cleaning. Base comes off relatively easily but I recommend patience over force otherwise it could possibly become misshapen and difficult to put back on.
All criticism aside, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my drainer rack and would hate to go back to a traditional plastic one. I think it’s fair to say the “Professional” in the description sums it up. It’s definitely for those of us who like to do the dishes mindfully, so if you just want to wash up and go it’s not for you.
Not sure what the whine about rust with these items but I haven’t had an issue, I think people maybe submerging these in the sea or something. I bought mine from amazon warehouse and it was meant to be in acceptable condition, but it came in perfect condition in red. No problem what so ever, could be presentable as a gift and is easy to construct, comes with a simple spanner in the box and all the bits needed. Great bit of kit for the money.
I’d change the tray a little because the tray doesn’t cover the glasses or the cutlery dryer.
Other then that good stuff.
I looked at quite a few different 2 tier drainers and read a fair amount of reviews before settling on this drainer. A lot had poor reviews as they weren’t sturdy but so far I’m pleased with this as it’s rigid, practical and a nice looking finish.
It needs to be assembled (picture attached). There’s no instructions included but it’s easy enough to put together, even though I had a screw on nut missing I still managed to fix it together! Nice looking chrome drainer, which is big enough for pots & pans on the bottom tier and plates/bowls on top tier. Measurements Height: 15 inches/Width: 16 inches/Depth: 9.5 inches.
Cutlery holder and glass holder hook over the sides (picture attached). I’m not using the glass holder as it can’t take the weight of glasses – it tilts as it’s not a firm fixing to drainer so I use the rack instead. The cutlery holder has no problems. Plastic drip tray included. Overall this is nice looking and does the job!
*Update – Seller (Curtains & Linens Outlet Ltd) has sent me a pack of nuts after my review/seller feedback mentioned a nut was missing. Many Thanks.
This looks great in our kitchen!
It’s good value for money, especially since some 1 tiered drainers are the same price.
The top tier could do with being a little deeper, I feel I have to be careful and ensure the plates I put on there are steady as I slot them in.
The glasses holder works ok, but again I have to be careful when leaving glasses on there…I find myself wobbling them when placing them on to ensure they won’t fall off. But maybe that’s just the norm…not sure I see what more could be done to ensure they would be secure with the design.
None have fallen off as yet, but I do always wobble them a little before leaving to dry.
The tray is easiest enough to pull out and clean, so no complaints there.
Time will tell as to whether rust will build up with it being metal.
I feel I can’t win with that one, as I had a plastic one prior to this…and that just got full of mildew and hard to clean, so maybe just a case of regular cleaning. I like that this wasn’t immediately sitting on the draining board, as my last plastic one was, and the amount of mildew that would build up due to it all getting stuck, was unbelievable and horrid!
One to be careful of is the fact that the glasses bit is not fully attached, so can come off of not careful, same with the cutlery holder…I’ve knocked the cutlery holder off a couple of times so far!! Not the end of the world with cutlery…but with glasses or mugs, it’s a different story!
The Nana in the family has requested I buy one for her, so they must look nice and impressive, so I’d recommend, but just be careful with it.
