This busy board (along with others from different suppliers) was ordered with the intention of using it with primary school SEN children and it has been a hit.
Normally the children have a very short attention span but, because there are so many different activities for them to explore, they are engaged for much longer periods i.e. from 5 minutes previously to up to 20 minutes.
Being able to unzip the internal pages was a bonus as it meant the various activities could be introduced gradually without being overwhelming.
I do cringe at the use of “Colors” rather than “Colours” but this is a minor criticism that does not detract from the overall pleasure this board is bringing to the children.
The board is well made, it has been used for several weeks, the children really look forward to using it and all the parts are still intact. Pricewise, at 15.99 at time of review, I think this busy board is comparable to similar ones on the market and I am happy to recommend it.
Great little busy book, 2 year old likes it, excellent quality only downsides are that the weather page barely makes sense and the colours page dont really show the colours very well. I would buy again as a gift but if these 2 things were improved I’d give it a 5/5
Our little one is slightly younger than the intended target demographic; he’s 10 months old. Because of that, we only let him play with this when supervised, but he loves it. At the moment he mainly loves pulling bits off that are stuck on with Velcro.
I think this is one of those toys that we are going to be able to put away for a month or two at a time and then when we bring it out he’ll rediscover the joy of playing with it, because he’ll have developed enough to engage with a different part of it. And, it will definitely be a useful tool for helping his development. I can see this toy getting a lot of use.
This toddlers busy board is selling for 14.44, showing as reduced from 16.99, at the time of this review. I think that’s a good price. I also think this would make a good gift.
We loved this busy board! Such fun and colourful activities, perfect to entertain your little one. Some activities are best done with the involvement of an adult, but all can be done safely by the child on their own too. Lovely quality of materials used, durable and lightweight. Great to take on your travels, as it is easy to carry and not very space consuming. All in all, a great product and good value for the price ( at the time of this review is 16.14).
My two year old loves this! We have used it for in flight, in the car for several day road trips, and on buses. It keeps my little one entertained for 30 minutes to an hour if I engage in the play with her.
It’s very bright and fab learning tools to do with her. Fantastic educational toy keeps her entertained. I highly recommend it!
This super cute, princess designed busy board was an amazing present for my girlfriends 3 year old girl.
Each page is brightly coloured, very stimulating and provides great learning opportunities.
Some of the learning opportunities include key life skills such as buckles, laces, pulling and pushing.
The board is very well made and packaged in a waterproof bag which is handy to store all the removable velcro pieces included within the board.
The board will help improve and develop hand to eye coordination and fine motor skills by having to match corresponding letters, numbers, colours, shapes and animals.
Its a great way to aid in the development of colours, numbers, animals, shapes and the alphabet.
We have many different sensory toys in this house, due to my children having disabilities but this is one of my favourites.
This is a great sensory toy, which has been great when doing activities like speech and language and fine motor skills.
I found that it kept my children interested a lot longer then other sensory items and it’s seems to be a favourite with the kids at the moment.
It has 19 activities all in one busy board / bag, it’s very portable, quality made, has bright, bold colours and offers lots and lots of fun while learning every day activities and developing skills needed in life from doing shoe laces up to learning the alphabet to knowing the time.
It’s very soft, easy to hold, easy to clean, lightweight, very compact and best of all its safe for any age or abilities.
Definitely one for any SEN families.
Ideal and easy item to take on trips, good quality and durable, the colour is appealing too, it has many physical activities and different dexterity exercises, it keeps my little girl happy during her independent task time and makes my life easier!
This busy board was chosen to be used in a nursery setting by children aged 2-4 years old. It was very popular.
PROS
– It had good fastenings, which benefitted the children’s fine motor skills and dexterity
– It was great for supporting maths skills, with colour matching, shape recognition and understanding numbers
– Some of the pages can be unzipped and removed, so they could be shared around if there were multiple children wanting to play
– It has great portability and storage – it folds flat and can be fastened shut, and has a carry handle

CONS
– Out of the box, all the shapes, numbers, letters and colours are all stuck together and need to be cut apart for first use. This was frustrating and would be better if it was usable straight away
– There are images of hearts on each number, to help with counting – however these are so small that it makes it very difficult for small children to count them effectively
– On the letters page, the colour matching was not always accurate, meaning it was harder for the children to match up the letters
Overall, a great product that was popular and well-used. For some of the exercises, it is beneficial for an adult to supervise and assist, which encourages parent/carer-to-child interaction, forming better bonds.
Note – when we chose this for review, the price was set at 16.99, which we thought was priced fair. It is now advertised at 18.99, which we feel is a little expensive, despite its qualities and benefits.
This lovely pink busy board has 8 pages of activities ranging from learning to use zips, buckles and buttons to colours, shapes and animals.
It is lightweight with handles to carry.
The excellent thing about this busy board is all of the pages unzip so they can be shared amongst more than one child.
It’s a really well thought out and manufactured product.

Really like this, nice bright vibrant colours. But do not show this to your child without having set it up first. You need to remove all the stickies from their holders and put in place!! Also the velcro doesnt stick amazingly.
Lovely item for a 3 year old. She is already obsessed. Lots of features to explore and things to do, letters, numbers, time and other life skills. In a bag so portable, can be used as a distraction in the car etc. Great item.
I like toys that stimulate children’s learning and this is certainly an excellent option for my daughter to have fun playing.
It’s an excellent busy board with several options, good quality, well made, lightweight and great value for money.

This is one of the best busy books available. I have tried many different busy books not only for my own young children but because I work as a Teaching Assistant in an SEND special school. There are many different sides to this busy book so plenty to keep kids entertained. It is particularly good for longer trips in the car too. I have used these books for running interventions as a TA, its great for the children to match their alphabet, colours etc, its great for them to take into assembily too just to keep them occupied if they struggle to sit for any length of time. The laces, buttons, zips & poppers are great for life skills. The book is well made & colourful so the kids really enjoy using them. All in all a great educational product that is well priced, so I highly recommend it.
This is a great busy board for little ones. A nice quiet book that keeps my son entertained when we’re out and about. Little soft velcro pieces to match, buckles to unclip, etc etc. There is lots of little things to do, and I like the cyan blue cover. Good quality board book.

This is a soft, busy briefcase / book (It’s certainly not just a bored. pun intended!) for youngsters to learn as they play!
The case is sealed with a button that the child will soon master opening when they see what’s inside!
It is available in four different colours including a non gender specific cyan shade if you are buying this as a gift.
When the case is open on the first and last pages there is an assortment of buckles, buttons laces, Velcro and zips all to keep your little one entertained.
The 3 double sided pages can all be removed by using the zippers that holds them in place so they can be arranged however is needed!
Even from a very early age this can be played with under supervision to help improve hand eye coordination as well as fine motor skills.

Really pleased with this busy board. It has handles super easy to carry. It is fastened by a button.
There is lots of different functionality for kids, including buttons, things to tie, lots of Velcro pieces and other educational elements.
This is such a good idea for taking on planes or other long journeys as really keeps little ones entertained.
Only slight issue is due to the soft felt material it is not the easiest to clean but overall I think it is excellent value for money as it is good quality and well made. Highly recommend

Got this Busy board for my daughter and she absolutely adores it. It has been a fantastic tool for her to develop her fine motor skills while having fun. She really loves the girly and pink design. The only minor drawback is that when it gets dirty or accidentally spilled by drinks, cleaning it can be a bit challenging. However, though it is a bit pricy at 14.99 I believe it’s a small inconvenience that I can live with. Overall, I’m delighted with this educational toy and would recommend it to other parents looking to engage their children in interactive learning activities.
This is such a fab idea for keeping little ones entertained and busy with their fingers, brilliant for developing their skills with their fingers and dexterity. Each page folds open to reveal a host of different fastenings, puzzles, velcro jigsaws, etc. All aimed at helping them to recognise and know colours, shapes, letters of the alphabet and so on. It is lightweight and all folds up into a handy carry case with handles so perfect for things like taking on holiday or on long journeys. Cute and fun illustrations on the design too.
Great design, bright, attractive, closes with elastic and button which part of the experience. Carry handles and so many well thought out activities. Numbers, letters, shapes, colours, all can be removed and put in place. Great things to do inside the covers, 9 and 11 activities including zip, button, Velcro, clips, toggle etc, all work perfectly. The individual pieces of felt for the numbers etc are slightly joined when you first open so you’ll need to pull them apart, not an issue. This is an exciting, educational, fun toy, great for travelling, overall, excellent.
Currently 14.99, this busy board is amazing value for money! It’s well made and full of activities for little ones to learn and do. Great for fine motor skills and learning life basic skills, like tying up a shoelace, buttons, etc. It’s bright, colourful and engaging. Lightweight and great to take on journeys to keep little ones occupied. I’m very happy with it and would happily recommend
