This MagSafe car phone mount stands out with apparently Kevlar material. The design is lightweight and feels like it has good durability. It has a nice sleek look to it. The magnets have a a secure hold, even with a case on my iPhone (albeit a MagSafe case)
The 3M adhesive is strong. Installation is easy with the 360-degree rotatable ball joint. The mount includes a metal ring for non-magnetic phones. Beware that it’s not a charger, only a holder so you’ll still need a charging alternative. This is good for what it claims to be, however at the 24 price point, you can get a decent MagSafe car phone holder with MagSafe charging as well.
This phone holder is almost perfect! The only thing that lets it down is that it’s a bit too short/stubby for my husband’s car, so he’s had to modify it a bit.
It looks great and the holding power is actually exceptional! I was very surprised; it holds our phones more still than a conventional plastic phone holder does, there’s barely any movement whatsoever.
I think, depending on your car and the angle of your windscreen and/or dashboard, this product is excellent. It’s just a shame that it isn’t quite perfect for my husband’s Audi A4.

I was slightly disappointed with this phone mount. Mainly as it is primarily made from plastic with the exception of the ball joint. Iti s very light grey in colour which a good match for some car interior plastics. I am also not sure on the purpose of the Kelvar disc. It is very compact and with no phone mounted it takes up very little space on the car dashboard. It does however require a flat surface to be mounted on. In the box there are two metal rings included to adapt a phone that does not have inbuilt Magsafe. It is pretty weel made an on par with other Syncwire accessories I have.
Overall, a very compact magnetic mount for your phone which has really good build quality. The light grey colour will blend in with many car interiors.
I’ve really made an effort to move to MagSafe since getting the iPhone 15 Pro Max and this was precisely what I needed in the car. Since I use CarPlay via USB Cable, I’m lucky enough to not need a MagSafe charger in the car, so this Magnet-Only holder was ideal. That being said, the price is much higher than I would expect without charging capabilities.
The Adhesive is super strong and the pad has a small amount of malleability to give a consistent surface area for adherence. The Adhesive also seems completely unfazed by extremes of temperature as well, which is helpful in the UK, given the range of temperatures between summer and winter.
The range of mobility due to the angle of the ball joint is limited, but if you can get the holder mounted with this angling in mind, you’ll be fine. Once you lock the position in place as well, the phone and holder aren’t moving unless you loosen the collar behind the magnet plate, which is brilliant for consistent viewing.
When the holder isn’t in use, the holder still looks great – I love the Carbon Fibre styling.
In the package you get the mount with a sticky pad already attached as well as a spare sticky pad, two surface cleaning wipes, and two sticky magnetic rings (one white and one black) for you to attach to your phone or phone case if it doesn’t have a magnetic ring on the back already.
I am using the mount with an iPhone 13 in a Mous case which has a MagSafe ring on the back of the case.
Once I had cleaned the mounting surface I attached the mount and left it for the recommended 5 hours before attaching my phone. After 5 hours I gave the mount a good pull and it felt solid (any more force and it would have probably pulled my dash off!)
The adjustment is easy to use, just loosen the nut on the back and move the mount to the position you want then tighten the nut up. I found I needed to use two hands to get the nut really tight with one holding the mount securely.
Once adjusted to my desired position, using the mount is a dream, I just get in the car and hold my phone up to the mount and “clunk” it’s held in place.
I have driven round corners at speed and over speed bumps and my phone hasn’t moved a millimetre.
Overall a great mount that not only looks good but does the job excellently, now my phone is easy to see without having to take my eyes off the road.
This is a MagSafe car mount with a workaround for this who don’t have air vents that lend themselves to other designs that depend on being able to insert their anchor into the vent. Instead this mount adheres to any flat surface of the vehicle dashboard by way of a supplied 3M sticky pad which is said not to damage the plastics/finish of the vehicle interior. I can’t speak to that as yet but have taken care to attach it in a discreet place and on a smooth metallic surface that i don’t imagine will be easily marked or lifted should it be removed. A spare 3M pad is supplied.
My MagSafe case connects in a reassuringly secure way to the magnet. However if you lack a MagSafe case then 2 self adhesive magnetic rings (one white and one black) are included for you to attach to either your phone or your phone case (though I imagine the case would need to be smooth for a secure attachment).
The mount itself is constructed mostly of what appears to be aluminium albeit that the locking nut is of robust plastic and secures the 2 portions together with some confidence. The swivel head pivots with a decent range of motion though you may have to play around with ideal positioning on your dash for it to be as functional as you’d like, and if your dash is limited for smooth surfaces then this may present an issue for you.
All in all it’s a reassuringly solid, functional and aesthetically pleasing gadget and it’s well up to the task of securing my iPhone 12 Pro Max without so much as a wobble in sight.
My only criticism, and it’s trivial, is that the instructions are so tiny they’re difficult to read. That said there’s little to fathom and it’s intuitively designed and very easily assembled.
Holds my iPhone 14 Plus with ease and security. No loosing grip and firmly held.
Also allows you to use a seperate charger wire without any problems while mounted.
Could do with a stronger double sided tape to hold mount to dash or windscreen.

Must be attached to a smooth and flat surface, unfortantly mu car dashboard is textured and slopped so i could not use this holder.

Solid, good quality phone holder that is strong enough to hold my iPhone 12 mini – in a MagSafe case – in any position, including vertically. I don’t know about larger/heavier phones.
Note that this product is intended to be permanently fixed to a spot in your car. It is not intended to be easily moved, like the ones that clip to air vents.
The base unit has an adhesive pad already attached to it, and there is a spare pad – presumably in case you are too impatient to wait the necessary 5 hours to ensure the holder is fixed securely, and have to start over. There are two alcohol swabs to clean the surface you are attaching it to.
It also comes with 2 self-adhesive magnetic rings (one white and one blue) which allow you to use the holder with a normal/non-MagSafe phone case. I have not used these, so I don’t know how secure it would be. I would think it’s best to use this holder with proper MagSafe cases.
Overall a good quality product but a bit expensive at 21.99. However, it is currently in the Black Friday sale at 25% off.

Lots of adjustability to allow for the best position in every car.
I read that a lot of the wireless charger ones are incredibly slow. Unless you need to charge your phone every single time, I would get this one and plug in a fast charging cable manually directly into the phone charging port. This way it is also better for the battery life longevity of your phone.
The carbon colour looks great, and I see this lasting for as long as I keep my car.
Great that they also include 2x alcohol wipes and a spare sticky 3m pad.
Wish I’d got this sooner. The MagSafe mount is great – no more mucking around with phone clamps, just place your phone against the pad and it stays there. Only thing I’d recommend is to check its compatible with your car’s specific air vents. In my car it fits perfectly and is completely solid with no shaking. In my wife’s car though the vent slots are too small and it can’t be fitted at all.
