Nachdem ich schon ein anderes gekauft hatte und mir diese software nicht gefallen hat, ging das navi retoure, nun das tom tom, es macht einen besseren eindruck als das chinesische,es ldt schneller und ich finde die software einfach besser, auch die bedienung ist sehr einfach und selbst erklrend
Nachtrag, jetzt nach einiger Benutzung habe ich den Kauf absolut nicht bereut und mich richtig entschieden absolute Kaufempfehlung
Je suis routiers international, le GPS Tom Tom est trs prcis .il calcule les temps de parcours et le temps d arrive vtre destination finale. De plus excellent pour les poids en l’ours en A D R. Il vous calcule un itinraire bis en cas de soucis pour ma part ces un trs bon gps
Not too difficult to set up. Large and colourful screen. You can set up the colours you want but as a device and especially as a traffic guidance device it’s slow and doesn’t seem to update quickly. It has showed me queues where there weren’t any
If you need it once in a while its ok, but if you use it 24/7 it starts freezing and lets you down. I know this company as I used their products before but this model is nothing for constant use… It seems that you are better off using maps on your phone. I hope that TomTom will find their way back to previous quality…
A lovely large screened satnav with the option for large vehicles to show height and weight limits for roads. Clear directions and easy to use and set routes. I like the fact it has lots of customisable options for colours and layouts. Overall I’m happy.
It was easily assembled, and the navigation is very good. It only takes you on suitable roads for your vehicle, and gives alerts about low bridges and other restrictions.
The screen is highly responsive, gives clear guidance, and gives faster alternative routes.
It has signals for possible traffic delays, stopovers, road/tunnel restrictions and much more.
However, if you want to receive up-dates you have to register, and it takes time for them to turn on. My son-in-law finds anything related to technology easy, but he found this a bit of a process, and had to try a few times for the up-load.
The device also caters for up-to-date world-wide maps, which will come in extremely useful for continental trips.
This SatNav from TomTom is easy to set up but so tricky to download the various apps they insist you need for all the different features. The navigation is really good and I cannot fault any aspect. That is as far as it goes. I cannot believe how complicated and complex they have made it to access all the other systems that you have paid for when you pay 400 for a Sat Nav system,
Fortunately I have a patient son-in-law who can do this for me otherwise this is a expensive piece of kit that is complicated and really frustratingly difficult to operate until all the apps are successfully downloaded.
