I actually got this for my Dad who is not great with technology. He loves it and is able to use it perfectly.
The sound quality is very good for the price of the phone and the ring is load enough to hear when it’s in your pocket. Well worth the money

The first thing that’s pretty evident is its design, clearly geared towards the elderly or those who might have trouble with small buttons or complex functionalities. The big buttons are a major plus, making it hassle-free for senior users to dial or text. No more squinting or accidental touches!
The material, largely plastic, isn’t top-tier, but it’s sturdy enough for daily use. You won’t be getting any luxury feels here, but then again, it’s not pretending to be a high-end device. It’s functional, practical, and straightforward.

The 1.77″ LCD display is basic but clear enough for viewing messages or the occasional picture. Another notable feature is the SOS button – a thoughtful inclusion that could be a lifesaver in emergencies, giving an added layer of safety and assurance to both the user and their loved ones. The 800 mAh battery might not seem much when you compare it to today’s smartphones, but for a device with limited functionalities like this one, it should get you through a couple of days easily.

In a nutshell, this phone isn’t aiming to win any design awards or tech innovations. It’s a no-frills, back-to-basics phone that caters to a specific demographic, ensuring they stay connected without the complexities of modern smartphones. For its price, it’s a decent buy, especially if you’re looking for simplicity and functionality.

Great price and chunky, robust with big buttons. This is simple to use with no added functions but all the necessary ones. My favorite is sos button for piece of mind. Battery really lasts a long time when not in charge stand.

Excellent phone that my 6 year old can use without any issues. The battery lasts ages, the screen is nice and bright and the keys are easy to read and press. And most importantly I don’t have to be worried about my child accessing internet because there isn’t any on this phone! Plus the ultra-cheap price means that I don’t have to worry if it ever gets broken – a perfect phone for kids and elderly.

I ordered this for my mum as she really struggles with anything but the most basic of phones, and her usual one recently packed up on her.

As per the design, it’s really simple to use, with no complicated features. The keys are big and the sound at its loudest is easily hearable for her, even though she doesn’t have the best of hearing anymore.

Apart from being easy to use, the battery life is very good, which is extremely important for me. She has trouble working out how to use the charger, so I can come round her house every other day and charge it for her, knowing it will still have plenty of battery life in it when I visit next in a couple of days.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo the description states this is a:-
Tosaju 2g Big button mobile phone for elderly. Unlocked dual sim free easy to use pay as you go senior mobile phones. 1.77″ LCD display SOS button 800mAh battery ~ Black.

This mobile phone is for emergency for my dad who had dementia, it has:-
    3 speed dial buttons
    8 speed dial numbers
SOS Emergency button (on the back)
    Unlocked
    Charging dock
    USB C fast charging cable
    Torch
    FM Radio
    Bluetooth

*** The rear SOS button works when you hold it in for 3 seconds and it automatically rings up to 5 people you have selected to be your emergency contacts.

*** Numbers 2 – 9 you preprograme who you want. Hold the number in for 3 seconds and it will call that person without you having to dial there number.

    *** The battery lasts:-
    * 3 – 4h continuous talk time
    * 200h of standby time

Its been working out well so far because he hasn’t got to put a charger cable into the phone as it charges via the cradle holder.

Big buttons are so easy to ring people. We have programmed all the numbers for him so he only has to keep the number pressed in for 3 seconds and it rings.
His favourite seems to be number 3 speed dial number, which is me. Only thing is that he ten’s to ring me mostly and asked me to ring who he wants and tells them to ring him lol.

The price at the time of this review is 26.99,
Only thing is where he had a flip phone before we set it up. Closing the phone means it was the end of call. With this we have had a few where we are still on the end of the phone and he’s forgotten to end the call.

    So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

    EDIT January 2024

Phone no longer rings, alarm does not work, it only vibrates now rendering it useless in just six months.

Now sadly this is the type of phone I now require, big buttons and a very loud ringtone, it is obnoxious and very annoying sounding like a distorted klaxon, this is absolutely perfect for my needs as I can hear it even in the other room.

The big buttons are even backlit allowing for it to be used by somebody even in a darkened room, this might sound silly but for some of us this is a huge feature at the moment.

The screen has a big and easy to read display and each feature is simplicity itself to use, I’m incredibly impressed with this phone and how clear the sound quality is.

For the ridiculously low price this has been a huge life changing phone for me, there is no internet connectivity so may put off younger people but honestly for its target audience this phone cannot for me get any better than it currently is, simply superb.

The Tosaju 2G Big Button phone is the perfect device for the grandparents who don’t really use a phone but are at a point where they need to have one handy.

The phone is compact, easy to use, has a large keypad for dialling numbers and has an emergency button on the back. The battery lasts a long time as this phone is very minimal on functionality and it’s essentially a very reasonably priced emergency device for the elderly.

This phone has been a game-changer for my elderly loved one. Its user-friendly design, big buttons, and easy navigation have made communication effortless. The SOS button adds an extra layer of safety and peace of mind. The long-lasting battery ensures that it’s always available when needed. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for seniors looking for a reliable and uncomplicated mobile phone.

This phone is aimed very much ad the elderly or those with eyesight issues – it has large buttons with big writing on them. The features are really great for the price – it comes with a charging cradle, removable battery, and micro-SD slot for memory expansion (should you wish). The phone itself has an LED torch function adn SOS button function on the rear. It’s not capable of some functions like browsing the web but for the price, and considering the target audience, I think this is excellent value.

The Tosaju 2G Big Button Mobile Phone for the elderly is nicely designed. It has big buttons, so people will find this phone easier to hold, and type on, if they have arthritis.

There’s a nice SOS function on the back of the phone, and you can have five numbers installed into the SOS system.

So If your relative has a fall, they can just press that button on the back, and it will ring out for them.

Also, like the fact that this phone is dual SIM, so we can have two numbers installed on one phone.

The Phone charges via micro USB, but it comes with its own docking station to charge it.

Overall, this phone is pretty good for the elderly. I can highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent little phone for an older relative.

This mobile phone is a straight forward 2G Model, it is aimed at older people but it has a far wider audience.
This phone does not connect to the interweb, so it is Not Smart.
However, its quite clever, it has a great array of features and is at a very good price.
The target group of older people should also include people with learning difficulties of any age, people with impaired vision, children whose parents or guardians want them to be contactable but do not want their child having access to the internet and many more marginalised groups.
Its a very good solid mobile phone.
