I used this during a recent trip to the States and it was first class. Perfect for charging everything from phone to laptop. For the price this is excellent value for money.
I got this UK to USA travel plug adaptor for travels to Antigua in the Caribbean. This plug adaptor seems to be well-designed and manufactured. I have tested this only in the UK so far (using a USA-to-UK adaptor), and it has performed well. All the USB ports (A and C) work as you’d expect to charge a few devices (note this is not a fast charger, but it certainly would be useful for overnight charging).
This is a useful adapter for countries using American type B sockets where there is a third hole for an earth pin. As well as providing mains power (at 120V at 60Hz) to a UK plug, this adapter also has three USB-A sockets delivering 5V 2.4A each, and one USB-C socket delivering 5V 3A.
I did consider using this adapter on a trip to Japan but the Type B socket is uncommon there.
The body of the adapter is easy to grip and the collar around the pins makes it less likely that fingers could touch a live pin. It’s small and lightweight, ideal for travelling.
Both adapter and packaging are marked with UKCA, CE and FCC logos to show it’s been tested to UK, EU and US standards for safety.
For just under 10 I think this is reasonable value for money. It’s a good unfussy design.
I love travelling around the US but all my plug adapters are the 2 pin variety and don’t always work in their bathrooms.
This is a compact adapter plug with 3 USB A and 1 USB C ports as well as 1 UK plug.
In the US hotel rooms the majority of the sockets are 2 pin but in the bathrooms its 3 pin sockets which is why i ordered this adapter so i can use my straighteners and hairdryer by the mirror.
Cant wait to use this nest year when we go away.
I have another of these adaptors so will compare to that.
This one is better in several respects. The UK lead does not get in the way of the USB leads. There is a wide range of USB charging positions. This is slightly smaller. Its lightweight. Its ideal for our next travel to the US.
I have tried it here in the UK before my trip to the US using additional adapter. And it works very well. I like that apart from the regular USB it also has a USB C so I do not need to bring additional chargers with me, just wires. This is very important because any adapter usually takes more space in a regular socket than just a plug. This adapter allows me to plug all of my equipment into one socket. And that’s what the most important when you travel.
Works but shame about the USB C port…….. .
This travel plug was used for a recent trip to the United States.
The plug has a USB C charging port along with three standard USB charging port. The plug itself allows one UK plug to be plug in as well. Once power is going into the plug a small dot indicates that devices will charge. I charged many devices simultaneously using the ports and plug or just the port with no issues. My super fast charger worked without any issues via the plug only. The USB C cable directly into the port didn’t always work. I may have been unlucky with this particular item.
Was useful being able to charge multiple devices as the kids had their devices with them.
Great plug and exceptional good value for around 10. Just a shame that one port didn’t always work.

Travel adaptor itself feels well built and has 3 pins which adds a bit of extra safety by having an earth which not a lot of travel adaptors do.
It has 3x USB A and 1 USB C ports meaning you don’t need to carry extra charging adaptors on trips to the US which is handy. Will definitely be taking on my next trip.

I travel exclusively abroad for work and often work on installations that use US sockets. This item will be perfect for times when I need an adaptor and the extra USB A slots (x3) and USB C slot (x1) will mean that I will only need to take leads for my other items – I usually take: phone (Lightning USB A), Notepad (USB A/C), Speaker (USB A), Bluetooth Headphones (USB C). I love that I can charge multiple items simultaneously as well as running a standard appliance (Laptop) through the 3 pin adaptor.
Perfect addition to my travel bag.
I have a few travel UK to USA travel adaptors, but this is the first one that has USB ports included 0 in fact it comes with standard USBs and 1 USB-C.
It feels good quality (not overly plasticky) and I will be very happy to take this single plug with me on holiday – it was save me taking various other adaptors. The pins are solid within the body – I have had some adaptors where the pins are a little loose from new.
I cannot comment of the usage and charging rates as yet, buy may update this once I have used it – but I am confident, based on feel alone, that this should work just fine.
