URBEST Mens Work Trousers Waterproof Cargo Pants Hunting Golf Hiking Tactical Trousers with Velcro Pockets
Exactly what I was looking for: a pair of trouser that I can wear at home (sometimes going out to the near shops), comfortable, soft and a material ideal to remove my cat hair from with a lint roller.
So on arrival, i tried them on.
Initially i was hoping theyd be a baggy fit for working on the car etc, and they absolutely are a slightly bigger fit. Which is entirely fine for me for my use case scenario, but know that they may be a little big if you wear bodytight
The material was actually so nice to feel i ended up not using them as utility trousers, but more as a casual pair for nipping out!
Only thing i’d say is that im unhappy with the slight scratchiness of the seams, especially at the pockets. It was enough to bother me repeatedly when wearing for a few hours
At first I was quite hesitant in actually ordering these walking trousers now the reason being is because of worrying about size and it was right and I may be white intention to actually worry about size because the only concern an issue I’ve had with these pair of trousers is the fact that they don’t actually fit me lengthwise but through my waist they fit fine. I’m not sure what they were expecting as in I wasn’t aware as whether they were looking for small size long but honestly I’m size short so they got that completely wrong I think they should have given that option but in regards to the actual trouser itself quality of the material is OK it’s not brilliant it’s not bad it’s OK the zips are fantastic of course the pockets are great and it fits very nice and soft there’s no other concerns I have with it it’s easy to walk in easy to move in and it’s actually quite good looking and I was surprised with this too but overall fantastic I can’t really complain it does a great job at being a trouser but I guess what else can you do. one of the things that really stood out remove the fact that is really like and I really liked it like that trousers come quite light because it means that you’re able to move comfortably and you have to worry about that kind of stuff. overall brilliant product can’t really complain.
Got these for my brother.
These are lightweight trousers and are a nice grey colour.and soft
Elasticated waistand elasticated around the ankles
Two side pockets..two pockets down the legand two back pockets
WORK TROUSERS MEN: These work pants has a lot of low-profile pockets to free up your hands while fishing, hiking, and so on. Velcro pockets can safely store your valuables such as your phone, keys, credit cards, and other personal belongings.
WATERPROOF TROUSERS: Scratch-resistant fabric has a durable water repellent finish that sheds light rain and stains while keeping you cool and comfortable all day. The UPF 50 material built into the men’s outdoor recreation pants helps prevent sunburns and long-term skin damage.
90% Nylon, 10% Elastane
These trousers are absolutely amazing. The material is great especially for being work trousers….very breathable material but also on the thicker side to provide some protection. They have a good amount of pocket space…the Velcro pockets are an amazing addition to any pair of trouser so you can easily store your valuables like phone car keys and any other important small items. As the add states they are waterproof…and they have a durable water repellent finish that sheds light rain and stains while keeping you cool and comfortable all day…and are also scratch-free. They came out looking perfect after the first wash….the waist part has an elastic band from one hip to the other going alongside the back area to provide more comfort so they won’t be a tight fit …and give you more space for movement without getting to tight when sitting down or bending for stuff. They are also good trousers for outdoor activities…such as …going fishing or hiking or any other type of activity that require some level of protection from the sun ad other harsh elements….and they also provide a lot of comfort dues to the high quality of the material. I am extremely please with these trousers and i will keep an eye out for other items of such top quality. They deserves every single penny because it is a fair price for this high quality material and design. I am wholeheartedly recommending these to any outdoor lover because the will provide the much needed comfort and protection.
I ordered the 32″ as the sizing stated they fit 29.9 — 36.9 inch waist. I guess that large size range should have been the clue really. I’m a 30″ waist and these were very large which is a real shame as they are nice trousers.
I’m not sure I would use the trousers for any type of work whereby they might get snagged as the material is thin and doesn’t look as if it will take much to catch / tear it. They are perfect for out and about activities such as hiking though as the material is lightweight and dries really quickly. The leg cuff is comfortable and keeps the trousers from catching on anything around ankle height and there are a number of decent usable pockets.
At 28.99, these trousers are a good buy, they just came up too big for me so check the sizing as the 32 isn’t really for anyone less than 32″. Of course you say but, the sizing sheet does say otherwise so don’t be tempted if you are smaller.
You can’t always be sure what you are going to get when you order an of clothing item on-line, but I have to say I was impressed that not only did this pair of cargo/work trousers meet my expectations, it exceeded them.
The best you can hope for is that when you order an item like this is that it fits well, and for me, selecting 34″ waist, this fitted true to size. The length was also perfect, but with the elastication at the ankles you don’t have to worry if they are a bit long, as they will pinch in to fit. And when I say fit, these trousers not only look and sit nice, but they are easy and comfortable to wear, move, walk and sit in.
The material is nylon, so these feel very lightweight, but that makes them perfect for all-weather walking, particularly in milder or warmer weather. They are waterproof and have a SPF of 50. The pockets are all easily reached, the two side pockets deep and secure, the others with firm velcro fastenings.
All that is great, but this also features well on the little details that you can’t always tell from photos alone. I love the richness of the dark army green colour. Even something like the smoothness of the zip is just right. Very pleased with these, can highly recommend these well-made, good quality cargo trousers.
A cross between a cargo pant and a jogger, these trousers have, like so much current sportswear, one eye on the hiking trail and one eye on the high street.
So while they are very practically designed, with the usual panoply of pockets, the fabric is very thin indeed – really comfy, and great to travel with as they don’t need ironing and will not take up a lot of weight or space in a rucksack. However, they won’t offer any warmth, and are water resistant rather than waterproof – a good downpour would see them soaked. the cut is fashionably narrow too, not necessarily an advantage for the outdoorsman.
Overall, not something I’d use for camping or hiking, then, but a good pair of comfy, practical pants stylish enough for urban wear – a good thing to pack for a city break, or for golfing in.
Elasticated work trousers
Usually for comfortable and durable work trousers you pay a high price, these seem quite good quality, so I do think they’re worth it.
The design is quite nice, the material soft, nice and stretchy, comfortable to wear. They are nice and thin, they don’t retain heat and make you sweat, so they’re good for most weathers. They seem durable. They’re stretchier than you’d think, you can squat all the way down.
The waist and ankles are elasticated. You have 6 pockets to use. The inside of the pockets is better than some I’ve seen, they don’t feel like your keys will rip them.
I would recommend these work trousers. They do seem decent quality and good for the price.
I wanted a pair of lightweight cargo trousers and saw these – they are great as over-trousers but would not be very warm if worn as a single layer. That aside they are well made and good value for the price. Being a nylon/spandex mix you do notice the stretchy fabric which makes them perfect for anything exercise related. They have nice large pockets too and an elasticated waist and ankles.
One point of note, if you are long in the leg you may find them a bit on the short side: I am a 34 inch leg and they were only just long enough for me. It would be nice to see more sizes offered to cater for different leg lengths. That said, it does what it says on the tin!
Good but you have to know what you are buying; these are not standard cotton cargo/combat pants even though the images seem to imply it. They are a waterproof walker’s layer.
They are fine on their own for early spring walks, but for autumn/winter they may be too cold unless you have a layer underneath. This is common for walker’s waterproofs. The material is loose but stretchy, and cut for a fairly slim/athletic fit, so although they look like slob pants, they are not!
In use they are good; I went for a walk in the local woods with the other half during an early June downpour (its the best time – clean air, nobody else there!), and this garment worked perfectly – the rain just bounced off, and the trousers were comfortable.
More importantly, they are very light, so perfect for something you can carry in a rucksack for when the weather turns.. which is probably the exact use case they are designed for.
If you are expecting true cargo pants, you’ll probably want to give these a 3 star, but for walkers looking for lightweight lower body waterproofs that don’t look like you’ve just come off a North Sea trawler, these are a perfect 5 star!
I was expecting being advertised as work trousers that these would have been a little thicker so was quite surprised to find they are quite thin and light, but that’s not a bad point, trying them on I found they fitted me really well and they are quite stretchy so helps with comfort, I have been wearing these for the last few days and really like them, I generally like lounging around the house in track suit bottoms and have to say these feel the same, they have the normal pockets to keep the description of cargo pants, so for me ideal for general wear.
The negative, they are advertised as waterproof, maybe shower proof but not water proof, I flicked some water on my leg and it did bead but then tried a bit more and I could feel it soaking through, so only good for very light sprays of water.
Very comfortable trousers – so good I went and bought two more pairs!
These trousers are made from a nylon/elastane mix which sounds like they would be sweaty and uncomfortable, but certainly aren’t. They are quite generous so won’t be tight against your skin. They stretch a little to accommodate movement and seem to be breathable. I prefer wearing these to jeans on a hot day, for example.
The waste is elasticated, but there are belt loops if it’s not a perfect fit. Measurements seem true to what’s stated though. The ends are elasticated, so will cling to your boots. Length isn’t so much an issue if you’ve short legs, the ends will stay above your feet and the soft material will naturally take up the difference.
Pockets feel a little elasticated inside, and are quite deep. Velcro on the rear and leg pockets, and is well stitched in.
The material isn’t so much waterproof, as water repellent and dries really quickly. These are quite thin, so cold wet days may not be as pleasurable as normal strides and overtrousers, but they won’t sweat inside.
The black version look quite tidy and not like walking cargo trousers at all. You could wear them for a day out exploring and still look OK in a nice restaurant afterwards. The lighter colours show the pockets up more and may not look so smart.
I’ve large thighs so the roominess is lovely in these and you can easily wear them all day, even when it’s hot, and still feel comfortable. Highly recommended.
We go for long country rambles, and these trousers are perfect for that.
Husband generally wears a 36 waist and the sizing is perfect. The waist is very elasticated so we can even stop for a massive pub lunch on the way home without him having to undo a button.
They have lots of pockets, and they are lightweight but warm, so they’ll serve him well into late Autumn.
The cut is ever so slightly odd – bit roomy around the groin and hips – but nothing too bad.
All in all, these are good, and husband recommends them.
I decided to give these a go, thought they’d come in handy when walking the dog or just going on long walks.
First things first, looking at them they are a bit short in the leg. So I popped them on and yea, they’re short. I am 6ft and a 32 waist. They sit around my ankles. Bit of a shame but something I could still use for walking.
The material is comfortable and easy to wear, no issues there.
They have some useful design features in relation to waterproofing and UV blocking which is always nice to have.
I’d definitely be using them, it is just a shame they’re just a little short.
Although I already have a pair of very good waterproof trousers that I originally bought for golf, they are not really the most practical for wearing for an extended period as everyday casual trousers.
These are a much better option in that respect. I am not convinced that these would stand up to the same level of wet weather as my others (though, in fairness, they haven’t been exposed to those extremes yet), but they are a great option either for dog walking or for wearing on those days when the weather looks a little suspect, but when I don’t want to be carrying an extra pair of waterproof overtrousers with me.
They fit as expected and are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They also have the usual numerous practical pockets that you associate with cargo pants.
Although you could wear these at any time, I probably wouldn’t choose these over my usual cargo pants on days when I know the weather is going to be dry, but if it looks at all iffy then I know I can wear these and they won’t look out of place at all.
I hope you find these comments helpful.
These mens work trousers are very well made and workmanship is good. I like how they are so soft and comfortable to wear. Another good feature is they are waterproof which help keep my legs dry and I’m able to walk without the wet fabric hugging skin feeling.
These trousers may be soft but they are surprisingly durable and strong. The side pockets have velcro flaps which is great for quick access and closing. There are plenty pockets for holding all my personal small items.
The UPF 50 material help prevents sunburns and means I can be outside in the hot sunshine and not worry about sunburnt legs.
The elasticated waist holds against my waist well and is great for times when I don’t wear a belt. Walking about or sitting down, they feel great and not harsh at all.
These are fantastic trousers that are so light and soft, yet offers so much protection, waterproof and durability.
These are great value for money.
These are very hard-wearing trousers that are perfect for any kind of ‘manly’ activity outdoors, be that hiking, labouring or camping. The material, a mixture of Nylon and Elastane, both keeps you warm and protects the body. I ordered the size 38 waist as I am normally a 40, due to the elasticated nature of the waistband and it fitted perfectly. The trousers have nice pockets, both at the side, lower leg and rear, I was especially pleased that it had a zipper fly, as no mention was made of this in the product description. The bottom of the trousers tapers in which is handy if outdoors, as it prevents splashing getting onto the leg. In short, a very practical pair of trousers that should assist the ‘Action Man’ in your life.
