Extremely sharp, my husband cut his thumb usinf the normal cutting grid, with in seconds of using it. Not a good start with blood all over the kitchen and the vegetables!!!!! Beware it’s sharp.

Really happy with this. I’ve purchased a cheaper one before but thought I would spend a bit more as the other one barely cut veg at all. This one is like slicing butter! Holds lots of veg at once and super easy for tipping into bags for freezing. Decided to make the investment to stop food wastage with the cost of living crisis. Container and bits can easily be chucked in the dishwasher too. Great investme

Very easy to use to cut, slice & grate food, cut potatoes into chips/fries, cut veg, salad etc. It is quick & easy to change the 8 different slicing, chopping & grating blades over. The safety guard food holder is essential when cutting or grating so u dont cut your fingers as the blades are very sharp. U can cut really thin slices of cheese, slice cucumber, carrots & cut thin fruit slices for cooking or adding to drinks. Use for potato slices u can make into dishes like potato gratin or roast in the oven to make your own crisps. The grater blades are in 2 sizes so u can easily grate apple, cheese, chocolate etc. Or shred vegetables into strips for easy salad ingredients. Its easy to dice up fruit, tomatoes or onion for cooking or salads using the dicer which pushes the food through the grid when u close down the lid. There are 2 different sizes of dicing blades. U can use it to cut potatoes to make your own chips or fries. An egg separator fits on the top section which is good if u are making quiche or meringue & need to separate a lot of eggs. The clear 1.2 litre container fits onto the lid section to catch all the food underneath once prepared & there is a draining basket to drain off extra juices or water. All the different pieces can be stored inside the container when not in use & it is easy to store as it doesnt take up much space in your kitchen. Its easy to wash after using as it includes a little fork to push out any tiny bits caught in the holes. I will enjoy experimenting with different food to use in recipes I would not of thought of making before getting this as it makes preparing food for cooking much easier & quicker. I dont normally buy kitcen gadgets, but this one is worth buying at this price, if u want to speed up preparation time & spend more time cooking.
