Please ensure to carefully choose the placement of the WiFi extender:
Position it in an area where the wireless router’s signal is weaker, yet still able to receive a sufficiently strong signal itself. It’s advisable to avoid obstructions such as walls or metal objects that can hinder signal propagation. Typically, the optimal placement is around a distance where the signal strength is two bars, but it’s important not to place it directly next to the router, as that would yield no significant improvement.
Bought this as I have a very large house and garden. Very easy to set up and has the range required when out in the garden or in my workshop working. Extremely easy set up and instructions. Highly recommend.
My daughter’s bedroom is on the extension part of my home and there is very little signal for our wifi or phone signal – it must be something in the walls. I bought this to resolve the problem and it has done just that. Easy to install and took just a few minutes. Thank you
I was so skeptical purchasing this as it was cheap but I couldn’t afford the expensive ones. I’ve never been able to get WiFi in my bedroom, now I can! Super easy to set up and automatically connects when you unplug and plug back in again. Doesn’t have a password to connect though so wary of security issues but I’m sure there’s a way around it. The blue flashing lights that are on constantly are a bit annoying though when trying to sleep.
We had issues with the Wi-Fi at one end of the bungalow, we fitted this in one of the bedrooms & we have coverage everywhere. Make sure your initial set up is in the same room as the router.
Purchased so my partner could get access to some form of a wifi signal in her cellar studio. Like a caped hero I set this little guy up with 0 effort.
Luckily we have a power outlet just at the edge of our WiFi router range and was quickly able to set it up. I didn’t use the WPS function as it’s too easy so I connected to the repeaters WiFi and accessed it’s GUI page manually adding the WiFi and changing the name to something recognisable.
Soon I could hear music I don’t like booming from the basement to signify she was again in the land of SpotiWiFi.
This small piece of equipment is fantastic, it was so simple to set up straight out of the box. I can now use my WiFi in the garden & in the potting shed which I couldn’t do so before. I am going to order another for the upstairs as there is one room that the WiFi doesn’t reach do this should sort it out. Great item.
I can finally use the internet while in the garden! This was really, really simple to set up, and works perfectly. Wish I’d got one of these a long time ago!
I ordered this considering I get a slower speed in my room which is far from the main internet router.
I was hoping I could get better signals and that might eventually help me get better speeds if the signals are stronger.
Works great to replenish the signals, but the speed halves anyway, since it’s a WiFi repeater.
If you’re looking for better speeds, I’d recommend not making the same mistake I made, and instead invest in another router.
This is a great little device. It was easy to set up and I had it working in a few minutes. I placed it in my garage and it now extends my WiFi signal all the way to the bottom of my garden.
I’ve always had terrible signal in the games room but now I have full signal which is amazing! The wifi repeater is so simple to set up, literally plug n play; one turned on at the wall, I pressed the WPS button as well as on my router; then by accessing the repeater on my phone I managed to set it all up, probably took less than 5 minutes! Well worth the money and I’ve had multiple devices using the repeater at once, the stability was perfect with no buffering
We found the Wifi repeater very easy to set up as there was really nothing to do. We just plugged it in to a power socket in the lounge and it worked. We were having Problems with buffering with our TV using a Firestick. We were able to set the Firestick to use the Wifi repeater in internet options. The TV now works without buffering delays.
First time I have brought a wifi booster as my signal in my bedroom was poor and for the money this one is great easy to set up my only gripe is if I go downstairs I’m connected to my router and when I go to my bedroom it is still connected to my router but the signal is poor so on my phone I have to go to settings to connect to it but overall highly recommended
I have heard some bad reviews of other wifi extenders but this one is great and is still going great after a month.
