Nice compact car play screen
Connects to cars Bluetooth so steering controls still work.
Works like a charm most of the time, however has been instances where it will switch its self off and get stuck in a loop of loading and crashing. Unsure of the reason as the rest of the time seems to be fine
at first i was sceptical because of the price but i can honestly say this product is so much better than i could of ever imagined the sound quality is great the dash cam is the clearest ive ever seen and it was very easy to pair to the screen is small but suited my car perfectly
Setup and connectivity process was fast and easy.
Carplay and Android auto both works perfectly and so far I have not seen any issue (6+ months).
I had issues connecting with other brand back up camera and after reaching out to Rimoody support team, they agreed to ship the dedicated camera for this unit. That was very helpful and great customer service example.

CarPlay is amazing – and once you’ve had it – it’s hard to not have it.
This is a great retro fit option that doesn’t involve taking your dashboard apart.
It has a 5inch HD screen which connects wirelessly to your iPhone and emulates the phone and apps on it – CarPlay.
There is also a 4K dash cam on the back of it and FM radio.
It attaches to the dash or window using a suction cup and it powered via the cigarette lighter.
Good price too.
I reached out for support with the issues and got responses that did not help much. So while the seller is responsive, the responses were not worth much and did not resolve the issues.
CONS:
– If you connect to carplay, you can no longer hot spot from your phone. So everyone else in the car who wanted to hot spot, is dropped off by carplay. Really a bad deal.
– FM Transmitter is really bad quality signal.
– Car play works independent of SD card. So you can NOT play SD card music and get driving directions. Pointless.
– Power cord angled at 90 right towards all the other inputs. Crazy bad design.
– Aux cable provided is trash, and is super long. Had to replace it.
– Cannot change the background or screen saver.
– Aux on my vehicle (Volkswagen) has no audio half the time. I have to switch to radio and come back to get audio.
– The USB-C cable provided is fixed on the other side to a lighter adapter. Not connected. So I asked if I could use a different USB-C to USB-C/USB-A cable so I can install a double or triple lighter adapter. Vendor said I should not. So you will definitely lose an entire lighter adapter space due to this device. I have a separate dash cam (1), phone charger (2), and dash lights (3) so this has caused quite an issue with cables. Cable barely reaches the 3rd row lighter adapter.
PROS:
– Size is correct.
– Comes with adhesives cut to size
– Touchscreen is extremely good responsive.
– Comes with power and aux cable.
– Car play works fairly seamlessly.
IF YOU CAN LIVE WITH ALL THOSE CONS – then go ahead it’s a nice screen and responsive touchscreen.

My delivery was much slower than expected as has become the norm under Amazon.com’s tiered system where non-PRIME members get 7-10 day delivery realistically when before it used to be much more competitive. As always, I highly recommend searching for other marketplaces before placing a purchase on Amazon.com.
Very easy to setup with my 2017 motorhome and iPhone. The display was easy to find in the Bluetooth list and very quick to get Car Play going. The touchscreen is nice and I used the included mini-stereo cable to send sound to my stereo. I can easily play Amazon Music now and use Car Play (wirelessly to my phone) for GPS guidance. For under $100, I think it was a great buy. I’ll re-visit here if there are any issues with longevity, but barring that, I’m impressed.
