Wireless Car Stereo for Apple Carplay Android Auto
Wireless Car Stereo for Apple Carplay Android Auto with Front 2.5K Dash Cam, 9.26 Inch HD Touchscreen Car Radio Receiver with 64G SD Card, Carplay Screen with Siri/Bluetooth 5.0/GPS/FM/AUX/Mirror Link
This was literally a cinch to setup, as usual I didnt even open the instructions! Clicked it all together and stuck it on the windscreen (there is an option to stick it to the dashboard but my dash is very rounded – Fiat Ducato) so the windscreen option seemed the best and it can easily be adjusted up/down and sideways. I have also taken it off the windscreen a few times and put it back on and it hasn’t affected the suction.
So once stuck to the screen all i had to do was connect it to the Bluetooth on my Iphone, that connected immediately and the screen changed to the Carplay screen that i know from my car. If you havent used this yet then i think it is by far the most intuitive display available. Plays my music, reads my texts, and shows the mapping from my phone.
I connected the device to my nearby USB and AUX connectors (under the dash on this model) and set the music out on the screen to AUX and now the audio plays through my speakers. There is an option to connect via FM if you dont have AUX input.
I havent used the included 12v plug and cable just a quality USB cable to the nearby port and it is working fine.
The dashcam pretty much set itself up, with the included 64GB SD card i just had to move the camera on the back of the screen a little to the right as i prefer to have the front screen angled towards me in the drivers seat, then the dashcam covered a very wide area. There are options for parking, saving files etc as you get on a normal dashcam.
Im not sure that i will install the reversing camera as the van does already have one but it comes with loads of cable so it might even reach the back of my 7M motorhome.
Overall I am very happy with this device which will make my MH travels much more pleasant!
I’d always been envious of the cars that had CarPlay and not being able to have it in my older car, then I came across these standalone devices that hook up to the car giving you CarPlay in your car! It’s a simple setup of plug in to the cigarette lighter, turn on and get set up. I’ve only got Apple CarPlay tested as I don’t have an android device but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work just as well. It’s a very responsive screen which I was pleasantly surprised at, the screen is high res and you can connect audio a number of ways to the car/ phone. I’ve taken calls hands free and it’s much easier to hear with clearly audio and louder too than my phone alone.
The dash cam located on the outward facing side of the screen is again really high qality and picks up a wide angle viewing too. The sd card came already included which was a big plus as I was able to use the device straight out of the box. I highly recommend for anyone wanting an easier way to access sat nav apps, music and calls when driving. It’s made things a lot easier and a much bigger screen to view it all on. All photos/ videos taken while not driving.
I purchased this for my wife’s car which doesn’t have an android unit in the car. Its a golf Mk7. She doesn’t use a sat nav so I thought I’d get something which has everything built in. This thing has saved me 3 separate costs; buying a satnav, buying a dashcam and having android auto as a feature.
Once you following the basic instructions on screen and connect to a compatible android phone – everything works seamlessly. Waze appears on screen as you’d expect if you use it and Spotify running your favourite tune.
The next bit is even better, it allows your car to see this as a Bluetooth speaker, so the audio comes out via the car speakers if you want it to.
Worth the spend. It also comes with a screen mount and dash mount.
Unblocking the device, the Car Play unit looked impressive, the size of the screen looked really good and knew it would be really useful for having the sat nav option within the car.
Powering up the device, the quality of the screen was really good, it was sharp and everything was clear.
Connection both Android and iOS devices was really straight forward, once connected to the Bluetooth device from the phone, the relevant system booted up straight away with no issues.
Car-play and Android Auto worked as expected in the same way it does in our other vehicle that has it build in.
Touch screen is responsive with no issues so far. Making and receiving calls are clear on both ends. Reading out messages and using assistance worked the same as directly on the mobile devices.
Using this in a 2005 Freelander one has made it much easier to navigate when needed and listen to spotify while driving.
Suctions mount has worked perfectly, however will probably use the other mount to fit it to the dash perm.
Having the dashcam built in is a great benefit to the screen, the video quality is great and clear at night as well.
Overall, the system is perfect and does everything that i need it to do.
I got a car over 10 years which lacks the modend technology. I am pretty happy to find this product which fulfills my needs. I could not help to test its functions on my table upon the receipt of the delivery.
I tested the below functions and I am very happy about the results. This is exactly what I would like to have.
1: To have a dashboard security camera that constantly records videos while I am driving
2: To shadow the screen from the Android phone to the screen on the dashboard and have video streams sent to the screen and audio streams sent to the FM Radio in the car.
You will not regret it if you are looking for similar functions. Please refer to my test video for your reference.
This is a great bit of kit that adds alot of features to your android auto or apple car play.
The device as simple and easy to connect and set up.
The touch screen is crystal clear and very responsive.
Google maps run smoothly and you can run two apps along side each other as shown in the my video and pics uploaded.
Another great feature is the built in dash cam which will record your dash footage .
The voice recognition works flawlessly and with the aux cable you can hear the music etc through your car speaker’s.
So far I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade or add android auto or carplay to their vehicle.
I bought this carplay system two weeks ago which is very useful to me. We had a ten years old car which doesn’t have intelligent functions, e.g., Bluetooth, gps or camera. This carplay system definitely can fix these issues. It can connect to our phone via Bluetooth, so that we can use the carplay screen to show the map, which is very clear. Also we can listen to the music in our phone through the car audio system. I tried both ways, one is using FM, the other is AUX. both ways work good. There is no noise interference. Another feather I like most is the camera, which is very clear. So I don’t need a separated cameral anymore. Overall, this is an excellent carplay unit with quite many desired features, e.g., camera, Bluetooth, clear screen, a variety of functions and so on.
I use this only for navigation. The sound is excellent just through its speakers.
The only downside i see is that it takes a short while to switch to the maps after starting the vehicle. Once it connects to the phone all is good.
Just a reminder that there is no built in satnav this product just takes the info from your phone.
This superb piece of kit will bring older cars into the new, connected era. It is easy to use and quick to set up.
I connected the device to my phone via Bluetooth using the usual process. No problem. From then on it is just like using your phone on a big screen.
The screen is big and easy to see and view. Very clear map view in Google maps. Touch screen for navigation is very clear.
This device benefits from a dash cam to record footage. This gives a good clear picture. You will need to position the camera carefully to avoid picking up too much of your dashboard! The instructions say you can also connect a rear camera as well, although this wasn’t tested.
The voice recognition is just like your phone. Very clear and picked up my voice very well. You do need to remember to be in an area which receives good mobile data to use.
I have a 2012 Focus. Unlike other screens like this I found that I was able to hear my music through the cars speakers in Android Auto mode, this was easy to establish via the connection settings.
I am happy to recommend this product. It comes with two choices of mounting, on the dash and a suction mount from the window. Both look sturdy to use.
