This works very well indeed. Was a bit concerned as the reviews and description said it would work in most CarPlay enabled cars. However I’m using it in a Scania 500s HGV and it works a treat. I have however had to disconnect it a couple of times as all I got was a blue screen. I put this down to a firmware glitch between it and the truck. Well worth the money spent.
I have a Ford Transit from 2023 and it works perfectly. I was in the market for a similar device but so far this is the best one that I found you just need to connect the device via USB and then connect your phone to the device. You work, smoothly, and without lagging if you have a Ford Transit from 2020 to 2023 device will work as long as you have the Apple CarPlay function.
Very small and compact so it doesnt take up much space at all. Convenient if you dont want to mess around with wires and connecting your phone every time you get inside the car.
The easiest way to use phone and at the same way navigate with music on it is to use apple and Android auto. This is good device with easy installation and works longer. It works good even wirelessly. Has wide variation of options.
I have had to edit this and drop it by 1 star. Every time I get in the car it tells me the Sync is not connected, I then have to press the button to accept it but then it connects anyway. I have then checked the Bluetooth connection on my phone and it says not connected, but it is. I have uninstalled it, tried to register it through WiFi but that would not connect. In the end I will just have to live with pressing a button, it’s not a great problem really. I wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem? Absolutely straightforward to set up and install. Done in seconds. When you get in your car again it automatically registers, press the button on the screen and you are done. All the buttons on the steering wheel to operate Siri and the music all work perfectly. In addition no problem making calls. Very small so fits in the area under the armrest. Very impressed.
This is extremely useful to keep the dashboard organised and not so many cables around.
It works really well with my apple car play and I can now keep the phone out of site and the car with less clutter.
I would definitely recommend this.
