After moving into a new house where the kitchen sink has been specially installed into a small bay window I knew I was going to struggle with washing up. The drainer is so small and cannot fit anything on it, but this is such a great idea and I’m very happy with how it has turned out.
Once assembled together it is solid and can hold plenty of weight as I have found, the instructions are easy enough to follow and everything just clips together very easily. It’s great that there are mug holders on the side and a holder for the cutlery too.
Although there is the ability to have 4 cups on the holder it’s a little difficult as they’re close together so I can only really get 3 at best. But the cutlery holder is superb and fits everything in which I need it to. Neither of them are flimsy or have broken.
The drainer on the bottom is a good idea also as it keeps the actual sink dry and clean but also it means the entire drainer can be placed on the worktop instead of the sink drainer with the tube on the bottom running into a tub. The cutlery holder also has a small drain on the bottom meaning water doesn’t sit and go dirty, another great idea on this whole system.
When we redesigned our kitchen we tried to put more enthasis on worktop space, the sink does have a draining board so we needed a new solution. This is what I would regard as one of the better options for our situation in that this can be moved about easily when we don’t need it. It filters water back into the sink, wet things can air dry, and can be moved fairly easily when need be.
Building it did come with some trouble but with perseverance you can do it!
Being black means it goes with more modern styles as well, plastic grey would not look good for most kitchens but this black wire look does the job.
There is not a huge amount of space inside, this is more for small setups and that is the main point, if you are hunting to reserve space in your kitchen, this will do it. Price wise it’s on nearly 50% off right now at around 23ish which is a fair enough price but I would shop around in case you can find something cheaper.
