Una de las cosas que ms me ha confundido de este monitor de 25″ es su frecuencia de 240 Hz, ya que a pesar de tanto el manual, como el propio monitor, estn marcados con esta tasa de refresco, luego el propio fabricante incluye una hoja aparte donde indica que el modelo UG25I, en HDMI 2.0 soporta hasta 180 Hz y en Display Port 1.4 soporta tambin hasta 180 Hz. Aun as, en Windows 10, me deja seleccionar los 240 Hz y pasndole un test en el sistema me daba los 240 Hz. Pero luego al probarlo con algunos juegos no lograba pasar de los 144 Hz, incluso algunos que me dejaban seleccionar los 240 Hz. Todo esto siempre probado con display port, donde debera permitir estas frecuencias. Aunque siempre puede ser incompatibilidad del cable que he usado.
El acabado del monitor me ha parecido correcto, con un diseo simple con un marco mnimo, con 55 cm de ancho y 32,6 cm de altura sin contar la base. Y respecto a la base, que si lo mantiene estable, me ha parecido un punto negativo, ya que solamente permite una leve inclinacin del monitor, no permitiendo en ningn caso modificar la altura. Aunque tambin en la inclinacin me he encontrado un problema, si lo inclinas mucho salta una tapa de plstico que recubre la fijacin de la base, no es problemtico, pero me ha parecido un fallo de diseo.
Otro detalle de diseo que en mi caso veo negativo, es que no incluye ningn led que indique si est encendido. Al menos no visible desde la parte frontal, ya que aparentemente lleva uno interno a la altura del botn trasero que permite controlar el men de configuracin. Este botn s me ha parecido cmodo, puesto que funciona a modo de joystick, y desplazarse por la configuracin es muy cmodo, adems de que est traducida al espaol.
Otro buen detalle es la inclusin de hasta 4 puertos, 2 HDMI 2.0 y otros dos Display Port 1.4 para conectarlos al PC. Adems de la conexin de 12 V para el conector de corriente que incluye. Y se agradece tambin que incluya unos pequeos altavoces en su interior, aunque con sus 2W y su sonido bastante encerrado, no lograremos un sonido que sea de gran utilidad.
Respecto a su panel, tiene un tiempo de respuesta de 1ms MPRT y una resolucin mxima Full HD 1080P, pero es de tipo VA, por tanto, la tonalidad de sus colores siempre va a ser ms apagada que un monitor de tipo IPS. Y aunque subiendo un poco la saturacin se puede disimular, si buscamos colores ms vivos, no ser fcil de lograr con este panel. Por otra parte, no he percibido fugas de luz, ni problemas con el panel y se comporta de manera correcta.
Como ltimo detalle importante, tiene soporte VESA, para montarlo sobre un brazo externo. Y tiene la posibilidad de activar FreeSync evitando as el screen tearing.
It seems to be that if you want speed for anything computer related you need a gaming option, monitors included.
This is very easy to set up with simple instructions and an included screwdriver; one upright and 4 small screws, and a pair of two legs with one screw.
Once I had the monitor assembled I connected it using the power cable, then used the included HDMI cable to connect it to my laptop, and turned the monitor power on at the back. It has 4 HDMI ports which appear to be different, I just chose the first one and that seems to work fine. The instructions seemed to suggest that i needed to set the frequency or something like that but to be honest as it worked when all plugged in and powered up I was happy.
Picture looks great so no issues there. The screen is very slim and relatively lightweight so I’d be happy moving it around or wall mounting it, for example.
If your a gamer on a budget you will definitely like this.
It is a sleek thin looking screen with some great pictures options.
I wouldn’t say it’s broadcast quality for filmmakers but it’s great for displaying colour scopes and viewing footage before colour grading.
Talking scopes, one great feature is the on screen crosshair to help you call of duty pros! Better that a line of sticky tape on your monitor! You know how you are!
The “Standard” color pallet works well keeping flesh tones right but the “movie” mode is what I’ve picked for game play.
I’ve not witnessed any lag, if I do I’ll update this review.
So, now why I’ve given this a 4**** not a 5*****?
The cable management and stand port location.
– Cable management. As you can see, we have a beautiful looking monitor with an ugly display port cable hanging out the bottom. Yes, the display port and HDMI plug into the bottom of the screen. I feel this is a love hate thing.
Yes it’s ugly but yes it’s easy to reach. If you switch between devices you may want this, but set up to look good? Na.
Sand Port Location – as you can see I have two monitors set up. This one is set higher that the other. This is not by choice. The standard areas I’m using hold two monitors together but only if the 4x port screws are in the usual location. Due the the exstramly low location of the the monitor stands too high. Not the end of the world for a content creator but for duel screen gaming definitely an issue.
I would recommend buying 2 to have a great Seamless setup. If your match this to one you already have I would check the specs of the monitor arms you have.
All in all a great screen for the price.

Great monitor. Arrived in a well packaged box. Instructions for set up were easy to follow.
You have to assemble the stand with 4 screws using the provided screwdriver. Can be a bit of a faff if you have fat fingers like I do but use a set of tweezers or a magnetic screwdriver, and it is rather simple.
The monitor has back and forth adjustment to suit your needs.
A single power plug to the wall and another into the back of your computer is all that is required. Push the power button, and you’re all set up.
Great quality, perfect size for competitive gaming and a response rate of 1ms allows for quick reactions on first-person shooter style games.
Ultra-thin panels allow for a more immersive experience.
A solid 1080p monitor with good refresh rate of 240mhz clear image low latency for smooth gameplay.
Could do with the ability to adjust the height instead of needing a stand or monitor arm. Could also benefit from USB A/C ports for additional connectivity.
All in all for the price a good entry level monitor for gaming.

I got this monitor as a second one – along side the main one I already use on a day-to-day basis. It is very similar in size and fits perfectly on my riser.
The image is very crisp and high contrast, which no doubt would make for a pleasant viewing experience when using it for watching video clips or playing games. The base is very sturdy as well.
The only issue I had is that the height of the monitor is in no way adjustable – considering the stand is screwed directly into the back of the screen. On top of that, the angle of the monitor is not adjustable either, and as it leans forward ever so slightly this causes a little bit of an issue for me personally.
The screen works well, not really tested to see it functioning at 240 hz however displays well
One issue which would improve this is inclusion of hdmi 2.1 and a usb hub aspect.
Would recommend based on quality the product feels like and visuals.

This seriously looks better than my much more pricey 27″ top brand monitor! The minimal screen edge adds massively to its hi-tech look. I’m a bit taken aback at the low price. The refresh rate and response time make for a super-fluid and lifelike gaming experience. I use it mainly for desktop and photo editing applications and for those, too, it is proving ideal. The colours are superb and required very little adjustment for photo use. The stand is minimalist but stylish and holds the monitor strongly and attractively. All-in-all, I am super-pleased with this monitor.
Generic monitors are becoming a thing now and I’m all for it. At 240hz and freesync capable, this is just great. No dead pixels, no weird power problems, no stuttering. No ghosting in games as well. Picture quality could be better but at this price, this is worth it for these specs.
If you want a decently large screen but don’t have the hardware to push 1440 resolution, this is a great budget option. I primarily play drivingracing games and in Forza this monitor looked great with no blur with freesync enabled. It’s IPS, so the colors are good and the angles are excellent. The black levels could be better, but that’s going to be the case with any IPS panel. Setup was straight forward as you would expect from a monitor and the build quality is decent – not Samsung quality, but good enough. Overall this monitor has met my expectations and will be my go-to for racing games going forward.
I was hesitant to try a non big name brand gmfor my gaming PC monitor, but I was really surprised at how well this monitor performs and looks. Really good refresh rate and resolution along with support for freesync. I have no issues with gaming with this at all, it looks just as good and performs just as well as my Sam** branded one.
This 27-inch Gaming Monitor is a pretty decent piece of tech. It’s got a good-sized screen that makes games and videos look sharp and detailed, which I appreciate. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, but I did have to fiddle around a bit with the menu buttons to get the settings just right. It took a few tries getting used to the buttons.
The 144Hz refresh rate definitely improves the gaming experience, but I’ve noticed a tiny pixelation almost at the center of the screen. You don’t notice it, but when the screen is booting up, or showing a solid color, the rogue pixel is very noticeable. Overall, the build quality is pretty solid.
In summary, the Z-Edge UG27PJ is a good, budget-friendly gaming monitor that provides decent performance and good visuals. I mainly use it for CAD, and I like how crisp the entities appear on the screen, which, to me, is a plus. Overall, it’s a reasonable choice for someone who’s looking for a decent large monitor or those on a tight budget. I still say this is a good find even with the 4-star.
I had never used such a high refresh rate monitor until I got my hand on this one. I didn’t think it was possible to notice smoother gameplay above 144hz but this one does seems to be a bit smoother as long as my graphics card can keep up. It’s not often I have games able to run at 240fps.
That said, it’s also pretty great for everyday use as well. I have no complaints for the price of the monitor.
This is a solid middle of the road budget monitor. It has a clear picture with sharp images and the colors are vibrant. As many other reviews have stated this monitor can reach refresh rates of 240hz, but it requires a display port cable, which is not included. The built-in speakers are easily the weakest part of the monitor. An old laptop or phone has better sound quality. Definitely invest in speakers if you plan on purchasing. Overall, if you’re looking for a decent monitor at a good price this is hard to beat.
One quirk I found during install, is with some of the monitor settings. I have went into the menu and changed a few settings as I was testing out the screen. I’ve enabled DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio, which suppose to adjust the backlight level based on what’s on screen), then enabled FreeSync and HDR. When I went into my game, I notice alot of flickering happening. So I went back to check the settings and notice DCR is greyed out, along with a few other settings. Fine, I thought. The monitor is smart enough to disable those. I then disable freesync and screen flickering stops. That doesn’t sound right, so I continued my troubleshooting. Long story short, turns out by enabling HDR, the monitor locks down access to DCR, but kept my previous setting. So I had to disable HDR, disable DCR, re-enable HDR and freesync (and HDR on my pc). Now, the screen is flicker free. I would’ve thought that if they disable access to DCR, they would automatically revert it back to whatever setting it should be. Hence, giving it a 4 star instead.
