Bought for the wife on her commute as train service don’t like to heat the carriages!
These work really well and keep her hands warm for the 2 hour journey easily – in fact they do the return journey and still have charge.
Not tried using them to charge the mobile yet but they seem to have a lot of power.
Really good really warm long lasting. I use them as a hot water bottle in my sleeping bag when camping. Going to buy another set for my 2 night camping trips
From new, they took less than 3 hours to charge. It pulses blue when charging and the little blue lights indicate battery power – all three lights solid blue means fully charged. The whole unit continues to pulse blue, even when fully charged, so it’s the 3 little blue lights you want to keep your eye on!
There are 2 charging cables which is USB – micro C (handy, as I didn’t have any, and they are the new standard now). You can charge them both at the same time, stuck together if you like, but you’ll need 2 USB power sources. USB into the power source, micro C into the handwarmer. The USB on the handwarmer is there if you want to use it as a power bank. You can’t do both at the same time. They are two completely separate handwarmers, both sides need to be charged. They only stick together to make a bigger handwarmer. Handy for me when walking the dog- one on the lead, one holding the two sides stuck together so my palm, fingers and thumb stay warm. You need them stuck together if you want your whole hand warm, half only heats half, unless you have tiny hands.
You hold the button down for a few seconds to turn on/off. The three orange lights tell you which power level you’re on, starting at 40/45/50 C. A click of the button increases power up to 50 then back to 40. A quick double-click of the button shows battery level, each blue light being 1/3rd of power left. The handwarmer pulses orange when on, so you know it’s on, you can’t turn them off.
These are a great buy, 2 handwarmers or 1, easy to use, all the functions and safety of the more expensive models, 10000mAh lithium battery (5000 x 2) which is the highest capacity at the moment, They look and feel good, smooth although slightly slippy in my very dry hands, but you can attach the cord to it to put around your wrists.
They get hot (50C), but no way burning hot or ‘too hot’. They pulse their heat – so it gets hot then cools a bit, then hot again then cools a bit, very slowly throughout. So sometimes it just feels warm.
Gloves were never enough for me so I purchased this handwarmer. It’s a good size to grip easily and warms the hands really well. Great purchase and will keep my hands warm through winter!
I recently purchased the hand warmer for autumn/winter bike rides and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This hand warmer has truly revolutionised the way I stay warm during cold weather. My hands get cold whilst I’m riding and I stop and warm them up with this. It heats up incredibly fast and the battery lasts for a whole day without needing to charge it. It’s efficient, reliable, and most importantly, it’s small enough to store in my pocket at all times!
Wow. Didn’t know these things existed. No more lobster gloves for bike rides on cold days. really quick and easy replacement for a hot water bottle too. Love it. Lasts for hours! Extra bonus that it also acts as a phone charger bank
