This :
Aenllosi Hard Travel Case Compatible with Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 Waterproof Digital Camera,Protective Case for Kodak Compact Digital Camera(Blue,Case Only)
Is a well put together, simply designed with stylish restraint, bit of kit.
It is ostensibly for a Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 digital camera.
I do not own that camera or any other digital camera.
What could I use this case for?
The answer is a load of stuff.
The uses that this little case could be put to are varied, and plentiful.
You could use it for, and this is just off the top of my head :
Potatoes (are you sure about this? ED.)
Adapters
Wireless Guitar System
Guitar Tuners
Guitar Picks
Harmonicas
Wireless headphones
Pencil Case
Sewing Accessories
Buttons
Miscellaneous Small Things – imagination is required for this one, yes.
OK, not potatoes… I was just needing a quick win to get me going.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
Mine are mostly musical based as I am looking for cases for my guitar setup.
I think I will be using mine to house my wireless guitar system, which consists of a receiver unit, a transmitter unit, a couple of USB leads for charging, and an instructions manual.
They fit perfectly and the handy webbing, and elastic strap on the inside, keeps them in check and stops them bouncing around inside.
The case has a hard external skin, which is fully protective and has shockproof, scratch resistant, and waterproof functions.
The case is made of high-density EVA, durable material, and with its rigid shell, it can effectively absorb impacts and reduce damage caused by accidental collisions.
Keeping the contents inside protected and safe.
Case statistics, for fans of such things :
(If you are not a fan, please go and have a cup of tea, and return in a few minutes…. thanks for your honesty)
Internal dimensions: 11.5 x 7.5 x 2 cm,
External dimensions: 13.5 x 10 x 7 cm,
Weight: 125g
Welcome back those statistic avoiding readers – we hope you enjoyed your refreshments.
The rest of us are fully statted up, and are armed with loads of facts, if not a refreshing drink.
The case is pretty good value, and I would happily pay the asking price.
Overall, this is a winner.
I like it a lot, and I will definitely use it for something.
My love for cases, and things to put other things in, is always looking for a storage solution, and this hits the bullseye.
I might just go and get one in each colour now, as they are available in three versions :
Blue, Red and Yellow.
I got the blue one to test.
Definitely recommend.
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
It is nice to have a good hard case for a camera – whether it is for putting in your pocket or in a bag full of equipment that would otherwise damage it. This case looks good and works well.
It seems to be made from two plastic half-shells that are then kitted out with: a fluffy fabric in the interior, which provides ample protection; and, the exterior which is covered in a woven fabric. The two clamshells are attached by a zip fastener on the outside and a wide fabric strip to seal the two halves which means that it is resistant to dust and sand and from occasional water although it would not be water proof to any depth for a long time – if you dropped it in a puddle it would be okay but it certainly isn’t proof against immersion.
Inside, it has an elasticated fabric band across the deeper half to keep your camera in place and the shallower side has a webbed pocket that goes half way up so you can store things in it.
Outside, there is also a fabric loop that you can use to hold it with or put through your belt and so on.
This is a nice little case that looks after what you put in it – this one is designed for a Kodak camera but it also fits a Panasonic DMC-TZ100 with a parachute chord wrist strap or an action camera with a magnetic mount so there is plenty of room in there.
It is hard to get cases for compact cameras today when so many just use a camera phone – and this is especially true the slightly bulkier camera designs, so I was pleased to be asked to test this Aenllosi Hard Travel Case
Here’s what I found…
Pros This is a perfect fit for an Olympus SZ14 camera; it holds the camera and its dedicated charging and downloading cable without which it doesn’t work.
The protection is good as this is semi-rigid with a good zip to keep out dust, damp and fluff.
The “net” compartment in the lid is a perfect fit for the Olympus cable – and keeps it from scratching the camera; there is also enough room for a spare battery and SD card as well.
Cons None for me – as long as it proves durable.
OVERALL – I like this – and would be happy to get it again. If this fails inside 2 years I will be back to update my review but for now, I rate this as a good buy for storing and transporting my precious camera.
This style of case is fairly ubiquitous these days but there’s a reason for that because they’re good. The outer is a woven material atop of a semi-rigid shell. It offers a good degree of protection to the device inside.
The inner is a slightly brushed surface which stops your device from getting scratched. There’s also a netted pouch to stow away your device cables. It just keeps everything organised and tidy.
I doubt the case would stand up well to extreme punishment like driving a car over it but for everyday use it’s pretty good. I have a few identical cases and not one of them has failed on me yet. They get thrown in toolboxes, vehicles, rucksacks and I travel often. Happy to have it.
