Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have been converting my smart home system to HomeKit, and I have been struggling in the camera department. There are HomeKit cameras available, but they’re usually expensive. That could be because of the camera itself or because of needed subscriptions. This camera solves both of those problems. It’s very affordable and does not require a subscription if you’re running HKSV through an iCloud+ subscription. The camera also lets your port over scenes from the Aqara app to HomeKit, which means you can turn the camera in the home app. You can use an SD card for continuous recording as well. The camera is very responsive and has a clear picture.
Just a couple things to keep in mind: it does not come with a power brick, and the USB C cable was not very long. I ended up buying longer cables.
