My kids were always using my wife’s exercise ball. It was a bit too big for them. This one is just right. Plus now my wife doesn’t have to fight over her ball. LOL
I got two of these for my little one who has bad anxiety and often times needs a way to release that tension. He loves to bounce on it and sit there very kid friendly and easy to fill
Purchased the kids peanut ball for my autistic 3 year old to help him regulate. He seems to really enjoy rolling on it, it’s strong and big enough for the rest of the family to use too.
Bought for 3 year old grandson for Christmas but he loves it so much, I bought one to have at my house when he comes to spend time with Nanny while Mummy goes to work.
My 6 year old son loves his peanut ball and uses it most days. He can’t sit still so this really helps. It also withstands a fair bit of punching when he’s frustrated. Great value for money.
Was worried this was going to be a flop but my kid loves it. The instructional booklet that came with it was a nice touch. I think our kid will get many years of use out of it. Highly recommended.
My grandson loves this and it’s giving him lots of fun and helps him with his mobility, it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be but he absolutely loves it.
My 6 yo is always asking to take and play with my 65cm ball, which I use for a desk chair. I stumbled on this kids’ version – it’s so cute and great quality. The walls feel thick, yet the 6 yo inflated it by themself! A big hit for my sensory seeking kid to bounce on, roll over, etc etc.
This is a hit! Such a unique gift to give to a child that isn’t your typical tech or blocks. It is sturdy! You use the included pump to fill the ball and then get a pin from the bag of parts included and pop it in to keep the air inside. If fit snuggly in place. Does not require an electric pump, the one included pumped it up in a minute or so. Love the bumps on one side to add some variation to the ball. Truly a great item!
My son is autistic and a sensory-seeker by nature. He’s 4.5 and this ball is the perfect size for him!! He used to try rolling on balloons (POP!) or smaller balls. Now he can roll around safely AND get some exercise in!
One of our favorite things to do is watch preschool and kids workouts on YouTube. He’ll use this ball right alongside the video. We also do yoga and use our MollyBee yoga flashcards with it!!
I find him sitting on it like a chair when he watches tv because he says it’s “relaxing.” I use the ball to “roll him out” sometimes, too. It’s the perfect addition to his Calm Down Corner.
If you have an active preschooler or younger kiddo, this is a great thing to keep in the house! And it’s *perfect* for neurodivergent kiddos.
The Exercise ball is as-pictured and described. It came with a foot pump to blow it up. This took around five-minutes or so and worked well. The ball has some creased from shipping, but they smoothed out within a short time. I wasn’t sure the plug was a good enough quality to hold the air, but it is working. This has held up around 120 lbs. bouncing on it in order to help keep the body moving while starring at a computer screen. I like the little “spikes” as it either allows for a nonslip bottom or feels good against the body. The color orange is as-pictured and it’s a decent yoga ball (and perhaps not too small for some adults).
This product is advertised as a child’s exercise and sensory development ball, but we purchased it as a “herding” ball for our dog. Herding balls provide the same benefits—exercise and sensory development—but just for a four-legged friend. For this purpose, the ball has done well so far, and our dog has been playing with it for about a week. It is too large from him to bite (good thing, because he likes to bite everything he sees). And his toenails haven’t done any visible damage. My only issue is why this ball doesn’t use an inflation needle just like every other football, beachball, or basketball we own? While the part used to inflate it is not complicated (a pointed tube), it’ll end up lost or broken if we’re not careful.
So glad someone thought of adapting an adult-sized exercise ball to make it useful for children! This is a great way to do all kinds of balance work, as well as a range of no-impact floor exercises. If you have an active child who needs an all-weather, indoor outlet for burning off their exuberant energy, this could be just the thing. If you have a child who has a hard time sitting still, or difficulty concentrating when they have to sit and work on something, this could be a useful resource. If you have a child who’s especially concentrated on their senses, this might be a helpful resource. The same may be true for a child with stress or anxiety, who gets too wrapped up in their head, and could benefit from having something simple and physical to do, like bouncing on the ball in a seated position, as a way to pull their attention back into their body. Besides being able to use it specifically as an exercise ball or an alternative to a traditional chair, it’s just plain fun to have around as a jumbo ball. Even toddlers can enjoy it by rolling, pushing, or kicking the ball ahead of them.
This particular product seems to be of superior quality. The material is thick and strong, making a tough, resilient ball which should hold up to a child’s use over time. You will also receive a pump which can be operated by hand or foot, a tape to measure so that you know when the ball is fully inflated, and a plug plus a spare for later, just in case. The set also includes a book with an illustrated guide to all kinds of activities, divided into categories so you (or your child) can go to the section of greatest interest. For instance, there are sections on standard exercises like crunches and pushups, on stretching, and on sensory play, among others.
For reference, I have a full-sized ball from the same company. I’ve had it and used it for about three years now, and I’ve never had a problem with it. It’s sturdy, resists damage, and is handy to have around. The little one I watch enjoyed pushing mine around, so when I saw this one with its child-friendly dimensions, I scooped it up right away, and it’s been a hit. No issues with the new ball, and if it’s anything like the adult version, I don’t anticipate any.
I bought my ASD little one this for her birthday, unfortunately it was so good that my little bit bigger girl has probably spent as much time on this, so had to buy her one for Christmas. We first saw these at a private OT appointment and she loved it. She goes on it every day and it helps her.
Thank you
I ordered this BABYGO kids exercise ball for my son who has lots of energy. When we are stuck at home in the winter he is already bouncing off the walls so an exercise ball for kids seemed perfect. This ball is heavy duty. The bumps are prominent but not uncomfortable. The kit includes the ball, informational booklet, 2 plugs, 2 plug removal tools, a measuring tape for the ball, and a foot pump. Setup was simple and instructions were straightforward. The included booklet contained exercises for sensory, flexibility, strength and balance with three skill levels: easy, medium and hard. There are small illustrated pictures to go along with each exercise. We already do toddler yoga so my son was familiar with the idea of copying the picture. With some assistance we made it through all the easy exercises in the book and he was excited to do more. He is just a hair short to sit flat footed on the ball so we couldn’t do some of the exercises. If you are wanting to use this as more of a seat I would saw 4 or 5 years old minimum to be able to sit with feet firmly planted. Overall, this is a great tool to teach children exercises and to use up energy.
My 5 year old daughter was over the moon with this. She has sensory issues and is always sensory seeking and took to what we call ‘humping” on the back of our sofa. I brought this ball after reading about the benefits for children on the spectrum etc, in the hope it would offer her an alternative.
She was so happy with it, she remained rolling and bouncing and even hugging it for the rest of the evening we gave it to her. The material is robust and it feels although its of good quality. I think it will be a must in our home from now on as my 12 year old enjoyed playing about with it too . Highly recommend x
