You can literally run two of these for around 8hrs each, toasting the rooms that are actually being used, for about half the cost of putting the central heating on for half that time at twice the cost!!
Heater works fine and warms the area around one’s feet. However the main heat/air control switch is close to the heater body, making it difficult to access with finger and thumb.
Heats our lounge in no time, takes chill out of room with only on for an hour, small, compact and easy to move about, good value for the money payed. I ordered another one
I live in a house that is full of storage heaters so heat-on-demand is a gift and this little fan-heater does the job. Ideal for 1-2 persons. I have been using it heavily for 2 months and it’s reasonably quiet for a person who sleeps with the fan ON. You might also want to know that there is no temperature feedback to ON/OFF it automatically. So I would not recommend this for an overnight fan, but, it works brilliantly as a quick morning boost.
Don’t think they are the prettiest looking fires but at the cost and the flexibility of being able to move them from room to room if needed is a bonus. We got 2 at a discount price so well satisfied
I bought a bundle of 2 of these in the Black Friday sale. Came earlier than expected and are fabulous for the price. Will stand upright or can be placed horizontally, belt out a lot of heat and are great for the price. I needed a couple of these to warm up the place quickly before the central heating kicks in – very happy with purchase.
This Beldray Fan is brilliant, I’m using it now on the lowest setting in a medium-sized room and the difference is substantial, that much I’ve turned the heating off. After 5-10 minutes the room was toasty.
As an asthma sufferer, this is a breath of fresh air, taking the cold snap out of the house.
The only thing I suggest is to use an extension lead if sockets aren’t suitably placed, the cable is rather short.
It also has a cool ventilator function which is handy and the price is not to be sniffed at.
I would recommend this product.
I have purchased 3 of these now they are so good. Give off plenty of heat and switch off if the are not on a flat surface. Temperature control with the added benefit that you can switch it to a cooler in the winter. Brilliant little heater and well worth the money
I guess the cord could be longer, its barely 1 meter so that could be a problem for other people.
The heat output is not massive – but it’s enough to take the edge off. It is lightweight and easily manoeuvrable and is better than I thought it would be when I unpacked it. I did wonder if it would do it’s job and it has and apparently is cheap to run.
The downside is that once I’m in the bathroom, I don’t want to go back into the cold house!
Pros:
– Easy to use (just two dials).
– Good value.
– Produces a lot of heat for something so small!
– Appears well built and study.
– Product from a reputable brand not a cheap fake.
– Other reviews complain about a smell when it is turned on. However, if you read the manual that is normal and does subside after a few minutes.
– After running for 10 minutes the casing wasn’t hot which I thought might happen.
Cons:
– Simple thermostat trigger means you have to it set to a “warm” setting for the fan alone (No heating elements turn on) to switch on. (Not a big con just a little niggle)
– Makes more noise lying flat then when it’s standing.
