The cable’s good-sized length (about 2m) provides flexibility and convenience in setting up my entertainment system. It offers sufficient reach without unnecessary slack.
The durable braided construction not only adds a touch of quality but also ensures longevity. The braiding protects the cable from wear and tear, making it more resistant to damage.
The cable works well with my Xbox One, along with the plug-and-play feature, simplifies the connectivity process. Users can enjoy a hassle-free setup without the need for complex configurations.
The cable’s compatibility with various devices, including TVs, monitors, PCs, PS4, PS5, and projectors, enhances its versatility. It’s a versatile solution for different entertainment setups. I mostly use on my 4K TV and 2k Monitor.
I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my own opinions
A high quality HDMI cable with good connections.
I used this to connect a Panasonic BluRay player to an LG TV to run UHD content and the results at 4k were very nice. I couldn’t try the 8k capability but I guess this cable provides to future proofing if I ever get screens and content for that standard.
The cable is quite thick so you should allow for a 3+ inch clearance at the back of any device to allow for the jack/cable bend
While the cable is a premium priced one there often seem to be discounts that make it good value
I’ve used quite a few betron products, this HDMI being one of them.
On the surface it’s a pretty bog standard cable, not braided or anything, but it’s also not hugely expensive either. It appears from the marketing/listing that this cable is somewhat shielded, which is nice, although I’m not sure how much this will actually matter if you’re not putting it in a wall or surrounding it with loads of interference.
Works great to run my 4k monitor, and I’ve had no issues so far.
This is a nice 2 metre HDMI cable. The cable is substantial and rubber clad and printed with “Ultra High Speed HDMI with Ethernet”.
I’m using it between an Amazon Fire TV Cube and a 4K OLED Television. It fits the HDMI sockets well and is not loose.
There are no discernible issues with this cable at 4K and the picture quality remains excellent.
This cable works really well with my 4k TV and laptop. I don’t have a way to test its 8k capabilities but it works for my needs without any problems. It feels well made and has a nice slim cable compared to the older ones.
This HDMI cable boasts gold colour plated connectors and aluminium connector bodies with a plastic insert bonded to the insulation via a strain relief. The cable has a great specification as well and is able to deliver *k in theory, although I could not test it to that extreme.
I really like the following features:
The cable insulation is substantial, and so this cable looks like it is built to last.
Impressive specification without the impressively large price.
The following I didn’t like so much:
I can’t find a certification sticker anywhere for HDMI 2.1, but maybe that’s reflected in the price and how much it costs to get such things in place.
I’ve spent a few days testing this cable in a wide range of uses to see if the claimed 8k is truthful, and am happy to confirm that it is. If you’re a gamer, unfortunately you’re locked off at 60hz, but for most uses (where you’re outputting 8k) this is perfectly fine.
The length is ideal for outputting to a second monitor, or as a connection to an xbox x or ps5. For the price, I think it’s great value for money.
The robustness of the cable gives confidence that it’s not going to easily break over time, so I have no problems plugging and unplugging in to multiple devices.
Superb quality, well built and robust HDMI cable. Unlike some cheaper designs the rubberised coating makes it nice and flexible (handy for tight curves as it bends easily) and it is of course 2.1 capable. Just a shame it wasn’t HDMI certified as then you’d know precisely what you are getting in terms of spec.
Well built cable with good flexibilty with gold plated connectors, quite thick and durable.
Connected to a 165hz monitor and a 6800xt which do not support hdmi 2.1
Using this cable it reverts to hdmi 2.0 which gives the same resolution 2560x 1440p but only 144hz and 8 bit colour instead of 10bit colour when using a display port cable which gets the full 165hz, not a fault of the cable but if you have a monitor for pc its probably better using a display port cable if your gpu or monitor dosen’t suppport 2.1
Then i connected my 6800xt with this cable to my 4k tv which is 120hz and i got the full 4k and 120hz.
If you have hdmi 2.1 hardware this cable is the way to go .
This HDMI 2.1 cable is great. While it doesn’t have a braided cable it has a thick rubber one that should offer good durability. The connector housing is made from a grey metal and the connectors are gold plated. I tested this at 4k 60Hz and it worked flawlessly. It should support up to 8k 60Hz however I was unable to test that. This cable is not HDMI 2.1 certified, If it was It would have a barcode sticker somewhere on the packaging. This suggests that the cable hasn’t been tested as strenuously, but for my usage, it worked as expected. I’d recommend this to anyone on a budget who is looking for a cheap HDMI 2.1 cable.
I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.
It is very easy to use — no complicated setup needed. It is 2 meters long, giving you room to set up your stuff just how you like it.
Videos and movies load super fast without any delays. Produces pictures and videos in super sharp 8K Ultra HD quality, so everything looks stunningly clear.
This HDMI cable also transmits high-quality audio signals, creating an immersive sound experience.
Priced at just 8.99, you can use it with your TV, game console, projector etc.
I took a star off because it isn’t a certified cable, if it was I could use the app called hdmi cable to scan the code that comes with certified cables to be reassured. This does however have a strong structure from head to toe or err from head to head as it’s male to male hdmi cable. I used it with a series X console, could not notice a difference in visual quality from other hdmi cables. It is 2 Metres long, and If it was certified I would rate 5 by 5.
The thing about hdmi cables is they can break, I ordered this because I’ve broken others in the past, and I suspect those hdmi cables I have broke from too much heat at the back of the console, as when I touch the hdmi cable that broke, the tip was around 70oC, yet is now fine with a new cable plugged in. The best hdmi cables are the thick ones because they have shielding from the excess heat, this isn’t the best flexible cable I have used, but it’s not too shabby either, vs the sturdy thick exterior feel to it’s rubbery texture.
It should be able to do 8k 60hz, and or 4k 120hz as this is stated to be a hdmi 2.1, unfortunately I do not have a 4k TV to test the 120hz, or an 8k to test this theory out sorry these TV’s are too expensive for me.
P.S
Certified cables go through vigorous testing, with everything, and only the cables that pass are certified.
