I bought this to try as it looked fun and interesting. The little jars are adorable and it was fun to discover a new flavour each day. Some of the flavours were a miss tho, I couldn’t really taste much. Glad to have tried it but not sure I’d get one again.
Bought 2, one for myself and one for daughter. Different from the previous years advent calendar as this one had fruit tea bags in which were absolutely foul tasting! Lovely jams but please – no more tea bags!
The advent calendar looked lovely and loved the little pots of marmalade/ jam. Luckily we liked all but 1 flavour so it was a great way to try some that we maybe hadn’t come across before.
The only reason for the lower star is that on some days you get a tea. I was aware of this but I felt like they could’ve put more effort into that part as it felt quite disappointing when you got one of the days. Possibly could’ve done more than one tea per door or use “fancier” tea bags, like the pyramid shaped or something to make it a bit more in line with the rest.
This Bon Maman Advent Calendar was a total joy from start to fabulous finish! I shall certainly order one now when next year comes and every year. The jams were delicious and so nice to try different flavours you wouldn’t normally have the option of trying, also the different teas. But the final door to open was magical, perhaps I shouldn’t spoil it and say what it was for people who want to buy it for next year, but again, what a joy!
I bought this for my mum as she has toast most mornings, she loved the different flavours each day and is enjoying the teas as well, makes a change to chocolate. And the box is beautiful.
Really love the variety of preserves and teas. Good solid box, contents well supported and secure.
