This is a great bit of kit. It’s padded inside and has a hard outer case to get the job done. There’s a lot of thought gone into this cases protection such as the piece in the middle of the case that drops down to cover the screen and protect it from other items carried inside. It also comes with a screen protector like the kind you stick to the front of your mobile phone except this is sized to fit the switch.
The case also has little slots in the back of the middle section that you can slide your games into as well as a zipped netted section within the lid for carrying other stuff such as the charging cable.
The little panda design on the front of the case gives it a bit of a feminine touch but the dark case balances that out so I wouldn’t worry about this if you are wanting to get it for a young boy or girl who might be conscious of this.
I am very impressed with this and the fact that the switch just fits perfectly into place makes in seem really well designed, granted it was literally designed for this purpose.
This case has a really nice look to it – it looks incredibly premium, which you wouldn’t necessarily expect from this price point. The screen protector is also a great bonus. The case fits the Switch well, so no problems there. The logo is also a cool little panda, which again looks fantastic!
Overall, fantastic value, recommend it highly.
So the description states this is a:-
CoralPanda Nintendo switch carry case coral logo. Includes OLED screen protector ~ Nintendo switch/OLED compatible ~ stores 10 game carts. Zipped pouch accessories ~ Waterproof hard protective.
This case isn’t just for the console alone, They suggest what you could store in there all together:-
* Console
* Joy-Cons
* Spare Leads
* 10 Game Cards
* Joy-con Straps
* HDMI Cable Power Bank
* Headphones etc
With us being able to store so much safely inside, ment that when we went away for the weekend, we were able to take everything we needed in the case and know that it was all safe, but also all in one place.
With the zipper closure and carry handle.
The price at the time of this review is 12.99.
So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

This CoralPanda carry case for the Nintendo Switch is really good value at 12.99 (at the time of review). It fits both full size Switch models (not the Lite). Materials feel of good quality (no jamming zips etc!). The case feels a bit deeper than some I’ve used – meaning transporting additional joycons should be easy. Not deep enough for a 3 ping however unless you’ve got a folding one.
My only negative is the cartridge holder. I don’t know why the industry settled on this design – but it’s the usual elasticated fabric centre insert. Yes – the one that’s a pain to get the carts in and out of.
A silly little personal observation – but I really appreciate them adding a logo to the case. It does make it feel like a ‘proper’ product rather than a generic one sold by multiple suppliers.
A great buy for the money – well recommended.
I got this to protect my sat nav, but it didn’t fit, so I let my granddaughter use it to protect her Nintendo switch, which it does brilliantly.
The case is made from good quality materials. the outer shell is really hard, so it will protect whatever device you have tucked up inside.
Has a good quality zip, which is smooth in its operation.
Highly recommend this hard shell case.
This is a case for the Nintendo Switch but you actually get a little more for your money here with a tempered glass screen protector and wipe included, which I think is a nice added extra. I’m really impressed with the case itself as it’s surprisingly neat yet super robust. I’d not heard of CoralPanda before but there’s a little panda logo on the front of the case and on the zipper tag, which is a light pinky-peach colour as I went for the coral option. The case has a carbon fibre finish, giving the outer a diagonal line design that’s very swish and makes it a bit more exciting than a plain black.
This is a hard case and padded on the inside too, so it should be protected from knocks or falls on the outside and keep things secure on the inside. The case being firm and rigid makes it easier to use than softer cases as it stays in shape when putting the items in. There’s one zip to open the main compartment and then inside you have the larger storage area with strap and flap over to keep the handheld/screen in place and safe from scratches. There’s also sections for keeping a number of games. On the top part is a zippered section for accessories, so this is where you can put cables and joy-cons. I’ve found everything fits well in terms of the Switch, two joy-cons and cables. You can’t get the TV/charging base in there of course, but I wouldn’t want to. This keeps the main parts neat and safe, and that’s what I wanted from a case.
The handle is very useful and robust enough, so that plus the rugged case itself makes me feel more secure when storing or carrying what is actually a pretty expensive gaming system.
At 12.99 at the time of writing, I think the price is really good and I’d say the case is a decent investment for a pricey piece of kit whether you’re storing it at home or travelling with it. I think it looks brilliant, is designed nicely for ease of use and it’s excellent quality so it does the job well. Love it!
This is by far the one of the best cases for the Nintendo Switch i’ve come across.
Our OLED Switch fits in this perfectly, and the added screen protector that comes with is a nice addition, slightly thicker glass than previous protectors I’ve had which is great. Although the screen protector is just shy of 100% screen coverage, but I’m talking marginal. (Also can’t complain this is an addition to the case itself)
The case feels of very good quality, still has some flex to the case, so not super hard shell, but this will definitely protect your switch for moves when its in your bag etc. Carry handle feels very sturdy.
Has the screen protector flap inside too to further protect the screen of the switch. Built into this is space for cartridge storage too, can hold 10 game cartridges.
Also has a zippered compartment on the inside top lid, which would be great for storing cables and other smaller accessories.
Would highly recommend this product – 5/5
I wanted this for a slim, portable case to travel with, something that could protect my switch a bit but not weigh me down.
I was actually really pleased when I opened the box to see the finish of the case. At this price point I wasn’t expecting much, but it has this carbon fibre, or at least carbon fibre-esque fabric wrapping the shell – looks a bit more like what you’d expect from a premium case – I posted some photos so you can get an idea. It has a rubberized logo on the case and chunky rubberized zip tags which look nice, and these are coral pink or green like the logo, depending which colour you choose.
Build quality is solid – it’s not the kind of guaranteed military-grade robust solid you get from (much) more expensive cases, but this is definitely a hard case and I didn’t feel any concern about my switch getting damaged like you do with some similarly priced cases.
Opening the case you find all the usual stuff – zippy net pocket for your cables/lanyards, fabric inlay with 10 slots for games and a velcro strap to hold your switch securely in place. The case really is slim, almost handbaggably compact – I posted a photo next to a Switch for scale – it’s a bit over 5cm deep so while you will have a sturdy, sleek, protective switch case, don’t go in expecting to store much else in here.
This case is almost perfect for what it does, and looks nice, too. If I had any feedback for the manufacturer – this case definitely needs more slots for games. Don’t they all, though.
We are absolutely thrilled with the CoralPanda carry case, not only is it atheistically pleasing, with its ‘almost’ rubberised’ carbon fibre look, but unlike our older case, this one has a proper zipped ‘top pocket’ to store all your cables and accessories, without them falling out every time you open the case up.
Our OLED version of the switch, with protective joy-con covers on, fits snuggly and securely into the moulded case, and held into position with he screen protector, which doubles up as your game cartridge holder.
With everything held in-place, this really is one of those items that you’ll be happy to throw into your backpack, knowing that everything inside is being looked after.
Whilst others have stated that its not big enough to carry your ‘Switch docking station’ or ‘pro controllers’ etc, is it really designed to do that, I don’t think so, it’s for those of us, that just want the Switch and a few games, maybe a charging lead to take out and enjoy.
The provided screen protector, is certainly a step up from our previous one, in that it’s a good bit thicker than the old one we had. As far as OLED quality goes, honestly, I can’t say that we noticed any detrimental effect to the quality of the screen, although just like our old protector, it does fit just shy of true 100% coverage.
Overall, we are more than happy with the product, it feels sturdy, protective and thus can highly recommend it.
I don’t partake in any gaming and so don’t own a Nintendo Switch and have no plans to get one at the present time. However I do have a number of different hair clippers and shavers, most of which arrived just in cardboard boxes or with an inadequate storage stand where not all the accessories could be housed. I have never understood that design fault which means not everything can be properly stored together. This case was destined to become a home for one of my clippers and all it’s bits and pieces.
On it’s arrival I was a little surprised that it wasn’t as robust as I had expected. The shell is fairly easily deformed by a little pressure which is quite different to other similar cases that I own which are quite a bit sturdier. The zip does seem to be of good quality though, as does the carrying handle. Inside there is a zipped mesh pocket, which houses my trimmers different cutting guides, and there is a flap with a velcro fastening, to place over my trimmer body. Underneath the flap is a rather crude fastening strap to hold the trimmer in place and this also has a simple velcro fastener but I found that didn’t make a very strong union with the fabric it is meant to marry up with. It is quite unsatisfactory and needs a rethink.
In use I found that the case performed well enough for my intended use and was large enough to house trimmer and all it’s paraphernalia with seemingly little chance of anything moving around too much but because of the couple of negatives I have mentioned I feel that the case could be improved and perhaps, at 12.99, a better value alternative could be found elsewhere. A three star rating is perhaps a little severe whilst four stars is a bit generous but, in the absence of half star ratings being available I will go with four. It’s not a bad case, but could just be better.
This case provides a very snug and secure fit for the Nintendo Switch. There is a central flap which serves both as storage for games and also protects the screen from getting scratched by the zip on the net storage area opposite. The additional grip on the handle is a nice touch but although the carbon fibre effect looks great it does feel a bit weird to the touch, quite rubbery and almost like it’s greasy even though it’s not, is hard to describe. To be clear the case is not made from carbon fibre – at this price that should be obvious – but is just covered with a pattern similar to woven carbon fibre. The product description claims ‘waterproof’ but I think that is probably an exaggeration, it would happily survive being carried in the rain, but wouldn’t like being dropped in water. A more accurate description would be ‘water-resistant’.
For 13 at time of review this is a decent value case.
Really glad I chose this case. The design is great and I wanted something more than just a generic black case to protect my switch. The included screen protector is an added bonus too. I see there are 2 other colours so im going to get the green one for my son!
This case is about half as thick as the previous case I was using. It supports having the switch and joycon controllers only, I wouldn’t be comfortable transporting the docking station or pro controllers in it.
The case has the standard elasticated holes within which to store games cards.
The advert says that the finish is carbon fibre, I am not convinced it isn’t plastic/rubber. However, unless you are expecting the case to be stabbed, it is going to be hard enough to stop most damage.
There are four dimples in the back of the case within which the joycons fit whilst attached to the console. The switch oled I have put in the case fits snuggly, it isn’t going to rattle around. I think that if you had a case around the switch then the fabric would push in and still have sufficient room to fit it.
The zips work well and seem to seal well, I am not going to try and pour water on it, but I think it would easily repel a heavy rain showe
The ‘CoralPanda Nintendo Switch Carry Case – Includes Oled Screen Protector’ arrived in a simple bag.
The case looks good with the 3d effect finish, and the case zip has two pull tabs so you can either just use one from end to end or my preference, both from middle to ends. The case uses a hook and loop retaining system that works well at holding everything in position.
In the pictures I took, you may notice the zip in the netted area has separated at the middle, pulling the zip to the end and back, resolved this and the zip works fine.
Overall a good case, though I would have preferred the carry handle to be on the opening side where you are more likely to notice you have forgotten to do the zip up.
Great quality! The carbon fibre shell looks even better in person and really gives a premium look. My switch fits perfectly, the screen protector it comes with is handy and the zipped pouch holds all my switch accessories 10/10
Spent a lot of time looking at different switch cases, and really pleased I went for this one. Fits my switch (mine is not the the OLED model) perfectly and some great compartments to fit game cartridges and some other bits too. Looks stylish and feels sturdy and like it will protect the switch well. Didn’t need the OLED screen protector as don’t have that console, but will pass it on to family member who has.
