The first time it was used the fittings inside split ,had Gorrila glue handy ,I sent photos of the item before and after and was happy to keep after been offered a part refund.
well worth the money, would have paid more for it, it will last for years. easy to fill, just unscrew the knob and then take off the lid, fill and replace. great i will buy another for my back garden too
Initially I was very impressed with this product and thought it was sturdy. However less than three months later, the main attachment connecting the top cover plate with the wire loop has rusted and is now literally hanging by a thread. Very difficult to see how I can successfully refill any of the three feeders as I have had to secure the whole unit with garden wire looped through the feeders to the metal loop attachment, which is disappointing. Having said that, the birds love it and it was relatively cheap!
Bought as a gift for my husband as we like to feed the birds. This works really well and the birds enjoy using it. It’s a good size and good quality. My only complaint was the hanging mount on top bit had come loose from it’s screw fixing. When I asked the seller how to fix it on they were very unhelpful. So I just used super glue and job done. Now we hang it up and unscrew the top for refilling.
This bird feeder has three separate ways of feeding the birds, fat balls, nuts and seeds, it’s very well designed and constructed from steel and has a removable top for easy access when filling.
To say the birds like it is an understatement it attracts all sorts robins, dunnocks, tits, etc,
