Does what it says on the tin.. Bought this for my mam who struggles to remember the date and what day if the week it is.
It has helped her with her medication as she knows what day it is and can’t get mixed up anymore.
It’s a decent size and she can see it from her chair whilst it’s placed on the mantelpiece.
It just works! Is perfect for elderly early-alzheimers sufferer who never had a clue on what day of the week it was, or time of day .
I mn reality cant see it continuing to be as useful for her as she declines, but she loves it and its been really useful for the past few months where her symptoms have been relatively mild.
Its very clear and easy to read, Very highly recommended.
I love this clock. I bought 2 for my 90 yo mother who was confused about the time, the date , and most things.
With this clock she clearly knew all the she needed to know. If only there was a similar thing for all the other things she forgot….
These clocks are invaluable, I suffer from short term memory, some days are worse than others, but you wake up to the clock and straight away you’ve got the time, day, date, and time of day in front of you. very easy to set, I have bought about 7 of these now for family and friends. They can lose or gain time over a matter of weeks, some are fine, but I’ve had about three with varying faults, but if you do get a fault, return the clock, always keep the box, and packaging, for that reason.
I did need to manually set the time when the clocked changed by an hour, but the instructions were clear. I had hoped to put it up on the wall, but there’s no batteries… so I’ve plugged it into the main and it sits on a lower shelf. Its a bright, clear and much appreciated addition to my home… I can never remember what day we’re on!
my Mother in law doesn’t have any kind of dementia, but she DOES wake up when it’s dark not knowing if it’s late at night or early morning and starts worrying about her carers calling. This has knocked that problem for good, she can read it clearly from her bed and she appreciates the large numbers and text…personally, this is great for any elderly relative and not just those with advanced confusion. Very happy!
Really good, clear clock, easy to set up. Only complaint is the comma after the number in the date. Why? It’s enough to repeatedly concern my dad who is very particular with thing like this. I have to say I can’t ignore it myself and it boggles at me that there is no way to get rid of it.
