I’ve had sodastreams since the 1970s and have been happily ‘busy with the fizzy’ all that time.
They recently changed the bottle to this new quick release style which really annoyed me as the packaging was a fairly similar, bright pink.
I looked at getting a new sodastream with the new quick release mechanism and by chance saw this.
It’s a game changer.
No more appletiser at 2.30 a litre, that quickly goes flat. Now we get cheap apple juice at 79p a litre and fizz it up.
Instead of expensive cans of Coke, I now buy large 2litre bottles and fizz up when it’s flat.
So glad that sodastream changed their gas bottles to be non standard, had they not got my to look at buying a new sodastream, I’d never have seen this.
Hats off to the marketing department at sodastream, I wonder how many others are now looking at this as a replacement.

Absolutely love this, so much better than all the other ones I’ve had before, love the fact the that you can fizz up anything and refizz too..so ideal for left over prosecco at Christmas as you don’t need to pour it away you can just refizz it :)… By far the best.. easy to use, looks good. It is worth buying the extra bottles though to keep in the fridge. Don’t forget to have your water cold !! There was an issue with one of the co2 bottles.. however drinkmate were fantastic after I emailed them and resolved it straight away . Fantastic product and customer services.. I hardly ever write reviews but thought I had to with this one as its so good..

Love this and it not only provide me with soda when I need it it saves on disposing of plastic bottles from shop bought. I haven’t yet tried anything other than soda but I am sure it will do a great job.
I’ve bought other well known soda makers in the past and this excels all of them it’s so easy and quick to use and the flavour is great
