FYOUNG Cooling Fan Stand and Charging Station for Xbox Series X with 15RGB Color Light, 2 Pack Rechargeable Batteries and Charging Cooling Stand for Xbox Series X Accessories
It certainly looks the part and adds some great functionality to your Xbox! Extra cooling is always a good thing for performance and I love the fact I can store my headphones and charge my controllers all in one place. The RGB always looks great when you dim your lights for a gaming session.
Great organizer that keeps all game accessories in one place. Strong thick plastic with smooth finish for easy cleaning . Fans work great too. Just a little design flaw is all the stuff obstruct ports
This cooling fan stand and charging station is a great all-in-one solution for my Xbox. It keeps my console cool and organised, while also charging my controllers. The 15 RGB colour lights add a cool, personalised touch to my gaming setup. I can match the lighting to my mood or the game I am playing. It has two rechargeable batteries. They last a long time and charge quickly, so I am always readyforaction.
It comes in a lovely branded box, which makes it very much giftable. The stand is designed to keep the console cool while charging the controllers, providing an excellent gaming experience.
The stand is easy to set up and operate, and the two rechargeable batteries ensure I always have a backup. The RGB colour light adds a fantastic visual element to my gaming setup, making it stand out.
However, one of the cons of this product is the noise level. While the cooling fan is effective, it can be loud and distracting during gameplay.
Overall, I am satisfied with a convenient charging and cooling solution.
I honestly cannot imagine my Xbox without a stand anymore. The design of this stand is really good, it looks fantastic and you can’t beat the RGB design adding a bit extra to it. While the cooling fan is good, the charging capabilities make it very useful to have. When the arriving with battery packs two, the value of this whole set is simply incredible as you not only get a very nice looking stand but you also get rechargeable batteries too. No issues in the slightest.
This is the second stand I have tried out. The first one was simply blowing air up through the bottom of the X Box, whereas this one blows it in through the back vents. To me this is preferable because I previously bought a cooling system that included fine filters to stick over all the vents to prevent dust etc entering the case.
The LEDs are nice and bright and the colour options are good.
The fact this comes with the chargeable batteries for the controllers is an absolute stroke of genius. I have one Elite controller which is chargeable anyway, but the other controller I have did take batteries, so the inclusion of the charge packs is a very welcome one.
All good so far, but there are a couple of down sides the stopped this getting a 5-star rating from me.
The back part is quite bulky, which wouldn’t be an issue in itself except that the “hat” cooler I got some time ago has a cable that just about reaches the top USB port for power. Having to navigate the back panel means it’s stretched like a guitar string to reach! Okay, not so much an issue directly with this product, but it does spoil the ergonomics slightly.
The other issue is that the back panel is held on by virtue of 2 USB ports and some sticky pads. I try not to have the X Box shifted about too much, but there isn’t a lot stopping the back plate getting dislodged, which then subsequently looses power to the bottom of the stand. I found it difficult to attach initially as well, so I’d rather it didn’t randomly fall off and force me to go through that rigmarole again.
Finishing on a positive, the fans are much quieter than the previous stand I tried. They are silent, but near as.
I would recommend this, even though the price is getting up there. In truth 59 is more than probably half taken up with the price of the charge packs. For that alone, by the time you’ve bought 7-8 packs of batteries it will have paid for itself.
I really like this accessory. Not only did we find it kept our Xbox Series X cooler (the air coming from the top vent was noticeably cooler than it was before using the stand), it also provides a bunch of useful storage and features.
It has 2 USB stands on either side, which let you slot controllers into in order to charge them, complete with a light on the front of the system to say whether the controller is charging or not. You can also adjust the cooling, so if you do find the fans are loud (they don’t get very loud even on the highest setting) you can essentially turn them off.
There are fins on the back of the unit, which can store physical game cases, as well as a hook that can go in the vent on the top of the system where you can hang a pair of headphones or a headset off of.
The styling is very much in keeping with the rest of the Xbox Series X, you don’t lose access to any ports using this product, and the RGB lighting around the bottom is a nice touch and is adjustable to a variety of colours and modes.
The included batteries aren’t quite as high quality as the official Microsoft/Xbox rechargeable battery packs, but they do the job and work just fine.
All in all, this is a pretty complete package, you’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s worth the 60 currently charged, but I think it’s worth it. And it’s frequently on sale for less than 60, in which case it’s a no-brainer!
Owning a gaming console like a Series X comes with a lot of requirements which this cooling base unit does very well. Firstly you have the additional cooling feature of the base, the Series X can run very hot when in use, usually that hot air comes out of the top of the console which you can feel is very hot so anything that can help cool the air around it is not just good for the console but also for your home, believe me that long gaming sessions on the Series X can heat up the room.
The base also adds additional USB ports which will help charging other devices and having the ability to keep controllers charged ready for your next session or when your best Player 2 comes over to play make this a one stop item to enhance all your current Xbox gaming. It has a stand for your controllers and a headset whilst the RGB lights adds nothing more than a cosmetic touch if you want that, but overall performance and enhancement of your Xbox gaming with this is why I can recommend it, just be aware you will need to allow quite a lot of space for this base in your setup due to all the features it has. A great way to keep your gaming area clean and organised.
Very easy to construct, place the XBOX Series X on the stand, plug the rear twin fan module into both the base unit and the actual Xbox and plug back in all the leads into the XBOX (HDMI, network & power supply, etc) although the fan unit does take a up a USB socket, it is replace with another socket on the fan unit itself.
Two controllers can be charged at a time, (batteries supplied) which can be left in position to charge whilst the XBOX isnt in use.
Supplied is a handy headphone bracket which simply clips on to the top of the actual XBOX, a lead then could be run to the USB on the fan module to charge the headphones.
There is a range of colour displays which can be set or pulse through the range of colours or a more of a strobe effect.
The fans have 3 speed settings which provide a gentle flow of additional air into the XBOX itself, these fans are very quiet in operation.
Overall a good unit to show off your console, provide additional air and charge accessories.
Note with any console I tend to if possible place them above floor level to provide a cleaner air supply.
