I brought these as a gift for my mums birthday as all her tools are getting old and she’s a very keen Gardener. My mum has always enjoyed cath kidston and these gardening tools really reminded me of that style of design. They were a bug hit and came beautifully packaged the gloves and candles were a lovely touch too and made it feel very gift worthy. Definitely reccomend.
It’s not just a gift box; it’s a visual delight, and each item inside seems carefully chosen to elevate the gardening experience.
First and foremost, the visual appeal of the floral design on the tools is stunning. It adds a touch of elegance and charm to each piece, transforming the act of gardening into a stylish affair. The thought put into the aesthetics of these tools is evident, making them not just functional but also a joy to use and display.
The inclusion of essential gardening tools like the Hand Trowel, Fork, and Scissors is a practical touch. These tools are sturdy and well-crafted, making them reliable companions for any gardening task. The floral design on each tool brings a sense of unity to the set, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing collection.
Let’s talk about the extra treats in the box — the Hand Creams, Soy Wax Scented Candles, and Gloves. The hand creams are a delightful addition, providing a nourishing touch after a day of gardening. The choice of two different scents adds a layer of customization, allowing you to pick the aroma that suits your mood or preference. The natural soy wax scented candles are a thoughtful inclusion. The classical rose and lavender scents are not only pleasant but also known for their relaxation properties. The gloves included in the set are practical and stylish. They offer protection while maintaining a comfortable fit. The floral design on the gloves ties in with the theme of the entire set, creating a harmonious and coordinated look.
The comprehensive nature of the gift box makes it an excellent choice for both gifting and personal use. It’s a complete package that covers not just the essentials but also the luxurious and comforting aspects of gardening.
A really pretty gift set! It comes in a lovely pink flower box which already feels gift-y.
The contents:
1.) Fork and Trowel: The pattern on these is so pretty! It’s uplifting just to look at it. They seem to be made of metal and the paint is not only pretty but also provides protection from rust. The handles are basic (no padding) but comfortable to hold. The tools are hollow rather than being solid metal so that they won’t be too heavy, and they are nice and lightweight.
2.) Secateurs: The same pretty pattern as the fork and trowel. They fit comfortably in the hand and seem to be a decent quality. A locking function allow it to be closed safely.
3.) Gloves: The garden gloves are very thin so won’t be thorn-proof, but are still useful for non-thorny work like working in soil without getting your hands dirty. They fit my average-sized female hands perfectly. The quality of production isn’t amazing – I can feel threads and seams when my hands are in these, but they do the job, and I will definitely get good use out of them.
4.) Candles: You get two candles in tin containers. The containers are pretty with a marbled effect. Each candle has a different scent. One smells sweet and rose-like and the other smells less sweet but also has a lovely floral, aftershave-like aroma. I’m quite particular about what smells I like (I don’t like strongly artificial smells) and was delighted to find I thought both smelled lovely! Because the candles are in metal tin containers, you will have to put them on a heatproof mat when lighting them because the tin will get very hot.
5.) Hand creams: You get two different hand creams in the box, one “Rose” and one “Sakura”. Although the packaging is lovely, the scent is lovely, the ingredients are not very natural or health-conscious, containing mineral oil, petroleum-based ingredients and parabens. Personally I won’t be using the hand creams because of the chemically ingredients. I would dock half a star off my rating for this.
Overall, I’d give this gift box a near perfect 4.5 /5. I think this is a really lovely gift box. It contains a lot of useful things that are also exceptionally beautiful to look at.
This is a cracking ladies gardening gift set comprising of a gardening fork and trowel, gloves, 2 scented candles, 2 hand creams and secateurs. They are all packed into an attractive presentation box.
Quality is good across all the items, particularly the secateurs (which surprised me), which are sturdy and sharp, and the candles, which have lovely, floral overtones.
At the current price of around 17 you really cannot go wrong with this set, either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.
This is a lovely set and is suitable for gifting. It comes in a nicely printed box and the two candles are in tins with lids. The two hand creams are in plastic but nice tubes and all four fragranced items smell divine. The trowel and secateurs are printed in the same floral design and appear up to their jobs. The gloves are of a thinner material than I anticipated and have a different print. Overall, I would give this as a welcome to your new home or to a relative for Christmas. It could make a well-received Secret Santa gift too.
This is a really well put together and thoughtful gift idea for anyone who loves gardening. The set includes Trowel, Fork, Secateurs, 2 Hand Creams, 2 Candles and Gardening Gloves. The design on the tools is very pretty and feminine and actually encourages you to want to garden in my opinion. The hand creams are very useful as your hands often get very dry after a couple of hours of gardening and the candles will really help you relax after a hard day in the garden. The gloves are ok for light gardening work as they are relatively thin and would not be suitable for heavy duty work but still nice nevertheless. Overall a very nice gift idea for any keen gardener.
