Lovely warm waterproof jacket. Ordered large initially as other reviews said size up, but it swamped me – replaced with medium and it is perfect (usually a size 10) with room to wear a bulky jumper underneath. Useful pockets inside lining (hidden one right by the zip and a net one on the other side. Plus three external pockets. Value for money.
A lovely range of colours and a lot of features, good length. Unfortunately, the jacket was quite heavy and bulky due to the lining being faux fur, not as described, fleece, which is what I always have. The hood was also very large. Unfortunately it was returned.
Arrived in the nick of time, just before we got hit by the extreme cold weather. The jacket fits perfectly, came in a nice bag. The jacket has a decent sized hood with adjustable toggles. Great length on the arms. The inner lining fits over the thumbs nicely. Great waterproof, but more importantly the inner fleece keeps you toasty. Highly recommend this.
Reading the reviews, I wasn’t sure if I should order a size 10, which is my actual size for coats/jackets (I’m 1.75m tall) or if I should order a size 12. I took a chance and ordered a size 10 and it’s perfect. It’s lovely and warm. I’ve not worn it in torrential rain but it’s great when rainy at normal level. No, it doesn’t go far over the bottom but if I’d wanted that I would’ve bought a longer coat/jacket. It’s just the right length, as it would be a hindrance to my walking freely. The hood is a hood, meaning it’s not a tight fit that will stop the wind from being blown in. I wear a scarf around my neck to keep it warm. I don’t expect a hood to do that. I wear the hood as a second layer in addition to my wooly hat when the wind is icy, and that works just fine. The pockets are perfect and in just the right position and easily accessible. There’s a string at the bottom of the jacket, which enables me to make it a bit tighter on either side, as a second barrier against cold air.
So, all in all it’s a great jacket for outdoors, hiking/walking in winter.
