I consider this laptop excellent value for money. I mainly use it for e-mails, surfing the net and occasional games and it is perfectly suited for this. Good solid, sturdy build and the best lower cost laptop I have purchased in a while
We needed something for my son for his homework and online classes. Something we can carry when on move and doesn’t cost in thousands.
I Was reluctant to buy this initially but this one is surprisingly good laptop and fit for the purpose.
Apart from online we are using it for coding and enough space for storing big files.
I bought this laptop for my daughter for secondary school so far we have found it excellent, it has windows 11 a lovely big screen and i must say quite fast!
i wasn’t expecting much for the price but it has exceeded my expectations so far so good i would definitely recommend this for school work and home office requirements.
we have even played games and watched movies on netflix so all in all we are very pleased
my mum has recently bought the same laptop for account work at home and she says it is perfect for her needs.
This laptop works well and does everything i need it for, including web browsing, games for my children, word processing and email. The specification is very good for this price, it has plenty of memory and processing power and other laptops with this amount of memory cost much more so I am happy with it.
I bought this Geviar 15.6-inch laptop on offer from Amazon. I was impressed by the specs and the value. Since unpacking it and using it any worries I had about it being too good to be true have disappeared. I use it for personal and office use and it performs really well. A great buy and does everything I want.
What I really liked about this Geviar Laptop is that it switched on and ran well first time out of the box. It took about 10 minutes to set up and then further hour to transfer all my files and apps from the cloud. It is fast and responsive, and the SSD size negates the need for an external disc back up. I use it for work powerpoint presentations (via mini HDMI) and online meetings as well as general work processing. I also have sky go on it and the screen and sound outputs are very clear. Hugely satisfied.
Initial setup is a pain as once changed from US setting the keyboard commands change. I was unable to access @ to set up windows.
Reset the PC to US settings and the keyboard set-up issue was resolved. Thereafter the process flowed though personally I didn’t like Windows 11 which is not a reflection on the Laptop.
Been using it for a week now, just for emails and day to day communication.
It is comfortable to use and works well. Battery life seems a bit short but overall good value.
After buying another “Budget” laptop and returning it due to the pitiful performance, I decided to try again and bought one of these. It’s perfect for what I need, speed is good and it looks great. Would recommend to anybody who isn’t fussy about getting the right brand. AAAAA+++++ from me.
Brought this as a present and the person couldn’t be more happier. Good clear screen, responsive keyboard and mouse pad, and they were able to play some basic games on there. Don’t expect to play the high powered games on it, as it is not a gaming laptop, but it does everything else they need it to do.
Its light and durable and looks good.
For the price this is a great product, fast, excellent screen resolution. Useful ports. Light. Quick charging and good battery life. The laptop would fill many rolls from home to office and especially on the move. Highly recommended.
Loved the look of this but when I recieved it and was putting my email in I got exclamation mark instead of @. After a few attemps i worked out the keys was wrong its more like an American keyboard. So was a bit disappointed . I’ve not used it enough to give a full review due to being busy at work and Christmas coming. But as soon as I can I will write another review. But for now I’m a little disappointed due to the keyboard
I have been using this laptop for about 2 weeks and so far so good.
The laptop boots up in no time and has loads of disc space. I have used it for pho editing, general surfing and using office apps.
For the spec this is very good value.
Watchouts: I have configured a UK keyboard but it is worth noting that because you have done this the @ key is the ” key and vice versa. also the hash key # is the backslash key. Mildly irritating at best and hardly noticeable when you get used to it.

My wife wanted to be able to do a lot of her work on a computer that we’ve been sharing for a long time so it came about the time to split over onto separate devices in order to get more work done quicker so this was the solution.
Now has really decent specs with the 16GB RAM as well as a solid state hard drive that’s plenty to be able to store files although most of the stuff that we have is cloud based so that wasn’t too much of an issue for us when we were choosing them but it has all of the bells and whistles that you would expect in order to make sure your laptop works seamlessly with most of the other technology that’s out there like the levels of Bluetooth as well as having a front facing camera for any of your video conference calls.
The battery seems to be okay, although it’s not something that you would want to take away on ridiculously long trips expecting to use the battery all through the day without having to charge but it is plenty for somebody moves about the house in between different charging spots and sometimes need to keep it off for a couple of hours.
As described, this laptop met all of my requirements, slim with a robust design and the bonus it came pre installed with the latest version of “Windows 11”. After following the set up guidelines and activating my account I was most impressed with how quickly web pages opened. However, the only criticism was with the keyboard default been set to the USA mode and trying to change it to UK will need some patience and web searching to find the answer.
