Glenfiddich 21-Year-Old Malt Whisky
Glenfiddich’s 21-Year-Old Malt Whisky is a testament to the art of fine whisky crafting. As soon as the bottle is opened, a symphony of rich and complex aromas greets the senses, promising an exceptional tasting experience. The whisky itself is incredibly smooth, making it remarkably easy to drink, even for those who may not be accustomed to aged spirits.
Each sip reveals a well-balanced blend of flavours, with hints of oak, ripe fruit, and subtle spices, creating a harmonious and sophisticated taste profile. The aging process in rum casks adds a unique twist, imparting a warm, sweet character that enhances the overall flavour without overpowering it.
One of the most striking aspects of this whisky is its presentation. The bottle is housed in a beautifully crafted presentation box, which speaks volumes about the care and attention to detail that Glenfiddich invests in their products. This makes it not only a joy to drink but also a wonderful gift for any whisky aficionado.
Highly recommended for both seasoned whisky drinkers and newcomers alike.
Bottle came very well packaged in the box and very padded. Gift for my mom for Christmas who is an avid scotch and bourbon lover. I’m sure she will love it!
I buy this every year as a gift for my father, who is very particular about his whisky.
He loves this tipple and it’s by far his favourite.
I’m not a huge whisky fan, but this really is very good, with a lovely smooth flavour.
Not going to write a testimonial but this bottle is very fine. Better even than expected – and we expected something pretty good. An absolute definite buy for whiskey drinkers.
Got this for my husband who is an avid whisky drinker and he was very impressed. From fancy presentation to the flavour, it has been his favourite by far and he’s nearly finished the bottle in record time! Now hinting that he wants anotherwe will see!
Fantastic Whiskey, get two every year for my father in law who also loves it.
He has decided this is his favourite Whiskey ever and at 80 years old he’s had a few drams over the years lol
In all seriousness this is a wonderful whiskey and worth every penny
I enjoy a whisky a couple of times a week I always drink it neat and it’s always a 21 year old over the years I’ve tried some nice whisky s but with out exception in my opinion this is the best it ticks every box and the finish is as smooth as the start you will not be disappointed
I know there is a lot of comparison between this and the 18yo with the price difference.
It has to be said, in my eyes this is in a category of its own, I personally find the 18 year old very rich, and not a session drinker.
This on the other hand, is extremely smooth, very light with an explosion of flavour and all too easy to drink more than you intended to!
What a great whiskey.
I found this very more ish.
It took some serious will power to put this down, pricey but in my opinion it is worth purchasing.
I will be purchasing another one for sure.
Bought for the old man’s 60th and as an excuse for me to have a taste of something other than the 12yr old version . We enjoyed every sip of it, found no need for water/ice smooth from start to finish. I am half tempted to buy a bottle for myself but might try the 18yr old first for comparison and to save some money.
I’ve always enjoyed a good whiskey especially the 12-15-18 yr Glenfiddich but at 117 a bottle I was a bit cautious to buying the 21yr well I’m glad I did it’s one of the nicest and smoothest I’ve ever tasted I can now understand why you pay more for older matured whiskey although I couldn’t afford to drink this regular but I will be buying 1 or 2 bottles a year an absolute delicious whiskey
After overcoming the fear of opening it, I poured a handsome tumbler and ran it around the glass a little. The smell had none of that ‘in your face’ whoooof of so many whiskys. That sharp brutal unapologetic smack in the mouth I anticipate and have too often to get around or get over before I can start to enjoy the taste.
This was smooth, subtle and sensuous. Sensational. The feel of the sup in the mouth and on the throat was soft and easy and allowed the taste to be savoured right from the start. Then it seemed to just keep on giving. Lovely!
