This pack of glow sticks comes in a variety of colours, (Bluey Purple, Orange, Yellow and Pinkish). For the price, the amount is quite good too. It’s difficult to give out too much of an in dept review for glow sticks. But we were in pressed with the colours, the amount, neatly packaged, and every single one in the pack worked as intended when used. Recommended.
Good glow sticks, work as expected. I like that they’re chunkier than regular glow sticks but it be nice for them to come with some sort of string to be able to make them in a necklace or to be able to hang around as there is a hole to thread though

I ordered these mainly for our girls to for a bit of fun.
The pack of 25 different coloured glow sticks also came with black string (already cut) that can be used to hang them through the loop hole at the top of each stick.
They take a little more than other ones I’ve tried to initially crack to mix the chemicals but this is good – they won’t go off accidentally and should therefore last well. After bending one it lights up right away and a little shake makes sure that the stick is fully lit.
Our girls have been asking for them when they go to bed now – kind of a fun night light. I just picked out random ones and some colours seem brighter than others but overall they all light up well and easily last throughout the night.
We are very happy with these so far and at around 52p each (at the time of review) they seem great value and they feel strong, unlikely to break by accident and our girls love them. There is a good variety of colours and its a neat touch that they come with bits of ready cut string for hanging them up. Happy to recommend these for others 🙂 Thank you 🙂

These glow sticks come in a bag with pink/yellow/orange/blue coloured sticks and a bundle of black, plastic “string” which can be knotted into a loop and fed through a hole in the top of the stick. There is also a small hook so the glow stick can be suspended from a guy rope / tree branch etc.
The glow sticks are pretty tough to ‘crack’ the internal vial, which is good as it means they are unlikely to be accidentally activated during storage. Once you’ve cracked the stick, the glow is immediate and bright. A quick shake dissipates the glow throughout the stick and the glow is bright enough to see in daylight and gives enough light to see the area around the glow stick. Over time, the glow gradually decreases in brightness, but after 8 hours of use the glow stick was still bright enough to act as a marker in the dark. I’ve added a couple to my glove box for emergency use, and the remainder will be ideal for camping trips, halloween and bonfire parties. These currently work out as less than 50p per glow stick, a great price for an effective product.

Pack of glow sticks in assorted colours – seem good value at just over 50p a stick. Come with a plasticky shoe-lace type string and a moulded hook on the end of the glow stick so you can pretty much wear or hang these wherever you like.
Daughter L shaking her head at me as I tried a couple of these out and was dancing around the lounge waving these and throwing shapes – so that’s worth it for me already.
Got these for Mrs L to recreate her youth at an evening out later in the year but equally good for kids (or kids at heart) on a winter’s evening. Seem to last at least 8 hours (or until I went to bed anyway) so all good and would recommend if this is what you are looking for.
I got these as part of the Amazon Vine review programme as I was looking for something to use as spot prizes for the kids at a family gathering. It difficult to decide what criteria to apply for scoring them however. In terms of price they’re about average, verging on a little cheaper, than the competition. I searched Amazon for glow sticks and filtered out all those with three stars and below. So I’d say that, of the remaining selection, these definitely stay in the running.
Other than that they do what they’re supposed to. You bend them slightly and snap the internal vial so the chemicals mix, and hey presto you’ve got light.
If you’re going to use them with adults you can just dole them out in quick order, however if your audience are kids, especially the younger ones, I’d be a little more selective. They all work but some of the colours work better than others. I assume it’s down to the various chemical properties of the different colours. The yellows and blues are very bright but the purples and reds are a little underwhelming. That’s not a fault in the product but it’s a recipe for envy when you’re handing them out to kids.
If you’re looking for glow sticks I’d suggest you give these serious consideration for the price and the quantity you get.
I picked these up in advance of music festival season next year, as they are always great for that purpose. I like the wide array of colours you get in this package too.
I sacrificed one of these to test how long they glow for. Result was around 10 hours from cracking it to when the light faded to the point it was too dim to do anything (I cracked them in the evening before going to sleep and woke up to them still glowing).
Decent value for the price, a tad over 50 pence per stick at the time of writing this. High quality, ultra long lasting and larger, brighter glow sticks meant for camping in the wilderness or for emergencies typically cost double that – but these are clearly not meant for those specialist purposes, and the product description makes it clear.
So if you need glow sticks for fun, I think these are great.
