It didn’t stick for too long but I will blame the surface perhaps along with the heat not helping.
One thing the camera can’t do is its calibration where it has to spin around in different ways. It will fall off.
It’s a good piece and worth trying out if it’s something you’re searching for.
very little to say really. they do the job and are very easy to install. just stick them up with the sticky pad’s and pop your camera onto them. their super easy to install and they stick well to your wall. just remember to clean your wall properly before you install them.
This 2 pack of Wall Mounted Camera Brackets arrive in a plain looking, unbranded, cardboard box. Inside are the two acrylic shelves and 4 x double sided adhesive stickers.
The shelves are well made from 3mm thick, clear, acrylic. Externally they measure approximately 10.2cm square, with three of the sides being 1.6cm tall, and the side at the rear being 4.5cm tall.
The flat area for the camera to stand on measures approximately 9cm square, however due to the bend at the point the sides fold up, you could probably fit something with a base up to 9.4cm square. I use Reolink’s E1 Zoom cameras, and they fit easily with no issues.
The bracket can be attached to the wall or window using the included double sided adhesive sticker. Unlike the description photos, there are also two 5mm diameter holes drilled into the rear wall of the shelf, allowing you to attach it to a wall using screws should you wish too. I can’t speak to how well the stickers do at sticking because I decided to use 3m Command stickers instead, as I know they are easy to remove.
The design of the shelf has a couple well thought out features to help with cable management. Firstly the corners are cut out, so that you could slot the cable into one of these gaps should you wish. Alternatively, there is a 3cm x 1cm stadium (rectangle with semi-circular ends) hole towards the rear of the shelf, which allows you to thread through your USB, audio or power cable.
In conclusion this is a nice looking, robust, useful pair of shelves that can not only be used with security cameras, but lots of other things too, such as speakers, flower pots, LED lights, etc. The cable management features are well thought out and help keep things looking tidy.
I must admit I have been waiting for such a product to appear on the market so that I could finally get my cameras off the ugly, makeshift cardboard stands that they’ve been on up to now. And these shelves are exactly what I was after, and have impressed me to the point that I’ve ordered another pair to go with them.
