This is my first robot hoover, after looking at them for a couple of months I finally took the plunge and decided to treat myself after Christmas. Let me tell you it does not disappoint. Simple to set up and the app is easy to use. Well packaged on arrival.
With two dogs and two babies (one nearly 2) sweeping and hoovering was a daily task downstairs, I have mainly laminate with a large rug and the automatic carpet mode is great. With mapping its own route around obstacles and going under furniture which goes a miss with hoover. I haven’t swept or hoovered downstairs since I’ve had it !!!
I set it to go off while we’re all in bed so I come down to a nice clean house in the morning. It lets me focus of the more niggly tasks instead.
The self emptying is amazing so I don’t have to worry about it for a while (not sure how long a bag will last as the dogs are always loosing hair).
I will definitely be looking at getting another one in the future for upstairs as it is a game changer making household chores easier and more manageable with being a busy household.
I’ve recommended to all my family and friends.
This is a great robot for the money, we have mostly hard floors downstairs and it has done an admirable job in keeping them clean and tidy.
The only room with carpet is also kept nice and clean.
The mapping function is pretty awesome, it mapped the whole of downstairs with ease. and with the app I can easily get “Jarvis” as the kids have called it, to clean at any time.
We have had it now for a couple of months, and it really has made a massive difference in how clean the downstairs looks all of the time.
If there are any downsides, the mop is not the best, it will keep a clean floor clean, but its not going to do a great job of mopping up muddy dog paws for example.
The one thing that I wish I could get it to do would be to clean a single room via Alexa, but I can only ask it to go through an entire cleaning cycle.
These two small issues though cannot take away from the fact that it is a great product.

I took the plunge to buy my first robot vacuum cleaner and after reading all the reviews about so many, I went for the Honiture Q6 SE. What a great device, it zips under my tables, navigates around chair legs and works well with Alexa. It didn’t need any complex setup, just plug it in and let it do its thing. It vacuums the floor well, of course not able to get to the very corners of the room, but that is expected.
If you are looking for a sparkling floor everywhere, then roots are not for you. If you are looking at reducing manual vacuuming frequencies to once a week, even with a full family household, then this is a must purchase.
It did such a great job down stairs in our house that we bought a second robot for The second floor of our house too. We now hit a button and both floors of our house is vacuumed daily, leaving our family more time to be together and an effortless cleaner floor.
My first robot vacuum. Surprised by how useful I’m finding it after some months of ownership. Very efficient vacuuming, precise navigation and excellent at working around obstacles. The ‘mop’ is a bit of an afterthought, but still useful. Had problems returning to dock, but the latest software update seems to have resolved that. The app offers a good range of controls, once you have spent time learning it. Prompt and helpful after-sales support.

There are three levels of suction and three levels of water usage. There are various levels of cleaning, with or without water, in a Y configuration (for mopping) and edge and zig zag configuration for vacuuming or just edge.
I’ve noticed that the cleaning takes longer, and the battery runs down quicker with the Y configuration. You can add a timer, selecting times/days etc if you want to repeat a clean.
I have a mat in the hall that has a deep pile on it, the machine went from laminate floor to the rug with very little effort and adds extra suction to clean that area.
You can select zones on the map if you want to exclude an area as well.
Really quiet considering what it is. The only level on noise to comment on is when the robot empties the dust compartment into the base unit. It’s a loud noise for a very short period.
I have cats and while the unit goes around completing its circuit, they watch it in case it is going to come directly at them, but other than that, because of the low noise, they don’t appear too concerned about it. Pet owners would be okay with using it.
My only concern is the cost and availability of accessories. You can buy them from Amazon, but for what you get, replacing dust bags for the unit or roller/cleaning brushes for the robot, the costs in my opinion, are a little steep. I’ve checked on the company’s site and cannot find accessories there. I’m worried that I’ll need to stock up if the accessories that I have found are only going to be available for a short time if/when the company moves on to a new/improved model.

All of my furniture is on legs and off the floor level so the Honiture is perfect and really does get under everything and in to all the corners, just fab under the beds so no more down on blended knees! A normal upright vacuum just cannot do this.
The Honiture Q6 SE arrived and I couldn’t wait to unpack it. It comes well packaged and everything says to you that this is a quality piece of kit from the moment you look at the box and the careful packaging, to the moment you ask it to clean. It comes with a few spares like a filter and mopping pad but it’s easy to get more though they happily go through my washing machine and dry in seconds. The Quick Guide is on a large card and the User Manual inside – everything is clear and concise. Set it up and set it off!
First of all it rotates scanning the entire room quickly before cleaning the area, you can see its progress on the App which can be quite addictive to watch. I tidied up all the loose cables in the house with cable ties when I bought the G20 so there’s nothing for it to get tangled in or slow it down. It’s a more powerful machine and I heard a booster every now kick in when it was under the beds in a dustier area. It seems quicker than the G20 too with the laser navigation. Once it was back on its docking station the dust box is emptied in to the dust bag – brilliant technology – keeping the dust out of the air.
I’m looking forward to really getting to know this machine and tailoring it for different needs of suction and mopping requirements around my house. Being able to adjust the level of wetness for mopping is a real bonus as my kitchen floor can have a few more marks on than the other hard flooring so extra water is good. I’m delighted to have the two machines, they compliment each other well. From my experience over the last six months, this is a quality brand you can choose with confidence.

The dust box is already integrated into the sweeper, and you can easily remove it from the top to empty it. I appreciated this feature as it spared me the hassle of lifting the robot off the ground. Personally, I don’t use the mopping feature frequently, but it’s nice to have the option available.

Initially, I enjoyed exploring the various functions on the app, such as adjusting the water volume and suction power, as well as scheduling cleaning times. In the long term, I’ve set a cleaning schedule around midnight, allowing the robot to clean autonomously. By morning, I wake up to a clean house. I recommend clearing any large obstacles from the floor, such as children’s toys, books, or pillows, to ensure effective cleaning. Alternatively, the robot can detect objects and clean around them. It effortlessly navigates around chair legs and TV stands, cleaning thoroughly.

Furthermore, it sends notifications to your mobile phone if it encounters any issues. Although the cleaner cannot climb stairs, with the multiple floor maps, you can easily move it between floors. Personally, I have one cleaner downstairs and one upstairs, which has significantly reduced my cleaning time each day. The robot follows the scheduled cleaning routine, and the results are satisfying. Lastly, a notable feature of this product is the self-emptying bin integrated into the charging station. This means you can go up to approximately 2 months without worrying about the robot. Overall, this product saves me time, energy, and money, and I’m extremely pleased with its performance.
