    This is a brilliant bird feeder, and one that feels like it will last the test of time! Feels incredibly sturdy, and is made from metal, but not overly heavy for what it is!
    This feeder can take a lot of seed!! Much more than we’ve had before in some of the smaller feeders – brilliant for not having to take regular trips to fill it up. Also the design appears to keep the food fairly dry, which is another bonus as it means not having to clear up messy wet seeds as much!
    Nice colour options, could be gifted to a bird enthusiast or anyone keen on feeding their local wildlife.

    5/5

    So, I’ve had this feeder for a few weeks now. It seems really well made and well designed, reasonably robust (I’ve had no issues so far!) and the birds seem more than happy to use it. It is hung from a branch using some wire (not included) rather than the handle provided, as I wanted the feeder to be further from the branch, and works very well. It was easy to fill and is the easiest feeder I’ve ever had to clean (which, of course, is a vital part of feeding the birds as it prevents the spread of diseases).

    A tad more expensive than some other options, for sure, but in my opinion well worth the extra spend.

    Without a doubt, this is a premium quality bird seed feeder. The design is really good and the materials that it’s made from of the better quality.

    I’ve owned a few bird seeders in the past, some that use a similar style design to this, but nowhere near as well made.

    The whole feeder is sturdy and has a large capacity for feeding lots of birds. It’s designed for smaller ones, so will hopefully put off greedy pigeons, etc whilst encouraging cardinals, finches, bluetits, etc.

    The cap has a good amount of coverage to hopefully keep rain off the seed that goes into the outer section, whilst the drain holes underneath prevent any water soaking in. The main hopper section is clear, so you can see the seed level for when it needs refilling. Even this feels sturdy.

    The hanging handle is also sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’ll easy come loose like some others do.

    Overall, a really impressive seed feeder, which is also backed by an 18 month guarantee from the manufacturer.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Premium quality. Will keep seed dry

    I received it today and was blown away by how well-made the bird feeder is. Moreover, it is such a straightforward operation to fill it and make it accessible to the birdies. Nevertheless, I used a zip tie to secure it on the branch. It is a sturdy piece, well manufactured and thought. It is made of metal and has a special anti-rust coating, which is helpful when washing and disinfecting. With the bird flu around, it must be disinfected and washed with hot, soapy water daily. Naturally, I filled and hung the feeder immediately upon arrival. The feeder is pretty generous in size; hence, it can accommodate much food. Although I have eight feeders in the garden filled daily, this one still went empty quickly.
    The photos do not do justice to the feeder. I love it! It is one of those items worth every penny.

    We are lucky enough to have a large garden divided into areas, one part is very much a wildlife area. We like to feed the birds all year around and even more so at this time of the year (November) when other food sources are more scarce. We are regularly visited by robin’s, finches, sparrows and various tits as well as larger birds like doves, wood pigeons etc.

    This bird feeder has a huge capacity so will satisfy the apatites of all the visiting feathered friends and I won’t be constantly be having to go out to fill it up in the cold and wet. With such a large capacity it also means the bird feeder is easy to clean as I can get my hand inside the seed container.

    The bird feeder frame is constructed from metal which has drainage holes in the seed tray with a sturdy plastic seed container. The lid as a decent lip overhang so help keep the seed dry and easily lifts up to allow quick and easy access to top the bird feed up, with no fiddly screws to undo.

    The item comes in a decent presentation box, so will also make for a lovely present for anyone that loves birds visiting their garden.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Well constructed with huge seed capacity

    I got this to replace an old wooden bird table I got from Amazon only a couple of years ago, which has totally rotted out. The great news is that this one is substantial, heavy and metal in construction. As a result I would expect it to last a much longer time. Also, with the bird table I’m replacing, you had to go and put food on it every day, whereas with this, you fill it up and then it empties itself as the food gets taken by birds. I expect this will just need topping up maybe once every week or so.

    A good product.

    We are both keen amateur bird watchers who have been feeding birds for decades. In the past, we have used large “Squirrel Buster” or RSPB cage-type feeders but have come to realise that small feeders are safer for birds. Feeders need three things, and this one seems to fit the bill:

    – to be small to enforce frequent refilling and cleaning to stop stops seed becoming damp and mouldering.

    – to be easy to dismantle, wash and disinfect at each refill. Feeders can transmit deadly bird canker, the worst infectious bird disease on record killing 66% of greenfinches, affecting also chaffinches and dunnocks.

    – the feeder tube must be thick enough to last. This maker uses above-average thickness plastic and the feeder should last and survive frequent washing.

    On the strength of this review sample, we plan to order a squirrel proof version that costs only a little more from Amazon (link: https://amzn.eu/d/8XUuoQp). I shall review that when we get it. If you have grey squirrels in the garden, be sure to do the same or they will surely quickly destroy the feeder tube.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhile you can get cheaper bird feeders, you do mostly get what you pay for. In this case, for just a few pounds extra, you get quite a leap in quality. It’s really well made and the pictures on Amazon don’t really do justice to the finish.

    What I like:
    * Quality construction
    * Easy to fill
    * Easy cleaning
    * Great instructions
    * The hanger holes are away from the feed (should keep it drier)

    That last point is quite important as the existing feeder hangs from a centre wire which allows water through the cover, I’m hoping this one keeps the feed dry and less messy.

    The only thing I have some concern about are the smaller holes for the feed to drop out. We use a mix of sunflower hearts and crushed peanuts which don’t always drop in the feeder we have, so I’ll have to see how we go. I’m hoping drier feed will be better for this reason.

    We have a sparrow colony, blue tits, cold tits, and long tailed tits, plus robins and goldfinches – all of which seem to enjoy the current mix. The hanger is also shorter than the feeder it’s replacing, so I might have to extend it with some garden wire.

    All-in all though, I’m very impressed by the quality and will report back if my opinion changes with use.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality, easy to clea

    This bird feeder is constructed with metal so it’s very robust and weatherproof. Even the larger birds won’t damage this. It holds a load of sead so you won’t have refill as often. It will last over a week. The seed dispenser is portioned controlled, just fill it and leave it. It is easy to clean. with no tools needed. It is lightweight and easy to hang. A great robust, large-capacity bird feeder for your garden. I am very pleased with it.

    This is really easy to fill, just let the handle down and the top will be released and you can put in quite a large quantiy of bird seed. Its better than my current feeders, which only allow one bird at a time- because of the holes at the bottm, the seed can fall into the little trough around the base, and if it rains, gets vented away through a number of drain holes. This feeder is strong and real good quality, and will be a useful addition to my bird feeding arrangements. Its large, but you dont have to fill it to the top, although you could safely do that, as its well protected from the elements

    Really nice bird feeder, a lot bigger than I thought but then again, I did not check the dimensions. It takes a lot of seeds and seems pretty sturdy so should last few seasons – time will tell.
    It is super easy to fil and clean. It provides good support for the birds too.

    It came in a nice box so could be a present for someone. Within few moments of hanging it, it attracted few robins and sparrows – we have lots of these in the garden so looking forward to watching these in the winter.

    Large bored feeder with a wide lip around a gravity feed. Noit won’t perturb squirrels. It won’t feed Cardinals in the UK either. Marks off for the silly photoshopping of bird species that don’t exist side by side. Can be taken apart easily to clean.

    Really nice, easy to put together, can get a lot of bird in it.
    Although I’m yet to see any birds on it, the pigeons and squirrels keep landing on my shepherds crook and then shaking or the seeds over the floor.
    Can fill alot of seeds in container so very happy that it only needs filling up once a week.
    Value for money.
