Nice weight ,bracelet fits nicely ,easy to read dial & date much like my Rolex sub other than markers a little small & the illumination lasts a very short time ,looks good comfortable to wea
Nice looking automatic with plenty of backup energy to keep working. Will hold judgement on the waterproofing until after my summer hols with loads of swimming, hope all will be ok
I have 13No Invicta Automatic watches and everyone of them has been great value for money including this one. This one I purchased it for a friends son and he loves it.
It’s a light wearable surprisingly accurate automatic watch. The lume is useless and so far that’s the only downside. I have a seiko sumo now that’s a quality bit of engineering at a 10th of the price. No regrets with the invictar a good daily
Wow what can I say I have owned many time pieces well over 200 watches that cost 6 times this price but this watch is astonishing I am delighted with it well made work of art What a Xmas this will be with this watch showing me the time on New Year’s Eve thanks to the company for making a fine time piece
Was a tadge dissapointed with the movement which can seen on the inside face. It did not have the yellow surface with the written name embossed upon it. I missed this as it gave a touch of distinction when putting it on,however I view the watch as value for money.
Great value , good daily rate comfortable, nice looking.
A few improvements could be made to the brushing , No Date hacking on mine so faulty. Lack of paper for instructions annoying . Not same model shown no yellow ( now famous ) rotor.
Ok for the price you don t expect a lot and I will say the face is slightly smaller than i expected but apart from that i have been impressed with this watch, its sturdy enough, looks the part good finish and keeps good time and having the Magnified date really makes a difference in that you can actually see the date, if you are like me and like the expensive watches but not the price tag you could definitely do worse than buying this watch
I had the stainless coin edge bezel version of this a few years ago. I recall it taking 3 or 4 attempts to get one that was satisfactory but in the end it was decent enough but I sold it on. So fast forward a few years and I’m back but this time it’s in gold. If I’m honest this was bought on impulse and purely as a bit of fun as I have quite a few other “proper” watches to choose from as daily drivers. However, to give this watch some credit it’s actually not half bad. There are many Chinese brands that offer superior specs to this watch these days. I’ve had a few in the past and with the exception of San Martin and Sugess I’ve always found them compromised in some areas. Invicta have been honing their craft with these pro-divers for years now so by now they know what they are doing and you almost know what to expect. This one arrived pretty much flawless so I’m wondering have they upped their levels of QC. The bezel has a very good action and lines up almost perfectly with zero bounce or back play. Cyclops is also applied straight which is one of the issues I had previously. The Seiko nh35 appears to be running well and keeping good time and everything operates smoothly including the crown which is better then some of my more expensive pieces. The dial and handset look great and match the rest of the watch perfectly although the lume is not that great. Apparently these are plated in actual gold, either 18k or 23k depending what you read. It’s done to an extremely high standard and there’s no missed areas anywhere at all, the whole effect is blingy yet classy at the same time. I remember gold tone watches from the 70s and they used to wear off badly within a couple of months but YouTube reviews suggest that these hold up very well even with rough treatment. The only real issue I had was with the bracelet which is often a criticism. There were a couple of links on one side that were quite stiff and getting the push pins out was a real challenge. I have a feeling these issues were caused by the thick plating which I assume is done while the bracelets are already assembled. I managed to delete the stiff links so all good now.
So to sum up, this a surprisingly nice looking watch thats well finished and put together. It’s a bit flashy and I may well never wear it outside the house but as a bit of watch fun it’s hard to beat and I may be back for more.

Well, received one of these half an hour ago. Feels a lot more expensive by a country mile than what I paid for it. Bought a link removal tool for 6 quid to go with it and it took five minutes to remove the links I needed taking out.
Set the time and date quite easily. I suspect if you are ham fisted you may have problems with the screw down crown – be gentle.
I’ll update on performance at some point.
As for diving, I wouldn’t. I popped a Seiko rated to 200M at 35M, so wouldn’t with this. Get a dedicated diving watch or watch fans get your expensive ones with a higher rating. I will be doing my morning swim with it every day starting tomorrow though.
I’m no watch expert but this is definitely a nice piece of kit and feels a lot more expensive. Depends on how it last over time, but very pleased out of the box.
**Edit 15/09/2021
Posted the above a week ago yesterday. According to the Atomic Clock as of last night, it has lost 25/6 seconds in a week. Extremely impressed and very pleased.
Having searched high and low for a decent, waterproof, automatic divers watch, I was drawn to this Invicta 8926 (despite the online snobbery surrounding the brand)
At 74.95 it was considerably cheaper than the 8926OB (original bezel) model at 103.00, which in my opinion doesn’t look as good. I’m not that fussed about it looking exactly like the Rolex Submariner it is based on and much prefer the Seamaster style bezel found on this model.
After removing 3 links and altering the micro adjustments on the clasp (using the watch strap tool kit I purchased from Amazon at the same time) the watch is a perfect fit and feels comfortable on the wrist. There is a decent ‘heft’ to the piece which makes you feel you’re wearing something of value but not so heavy as to be cumbersome.
Having had the watch for a week the Seiko NH35A mechanism appears to be keeping time well as I check it against my iPhone daily.
I half expected buyer’s remorse once I removed the watch from its bright yellow box but can report none so far.
Yes Invicta have gone a little overboard placing their name anywhere and everywhere it will fit but that doesn’t put me off. I’m not looking to pretend I’ve got a Rolex. I just wanted a good looking, decent quality automatic divers watch which is most definitely what I received.
A long time ago I was a diver and I still love the look of diving watches.
I have a very old Omega Seamaster 300 and this Invicta watch has a similar look and feel to it.
This is a real Diver’s watch rated at 200 metres, not an imitation that isn’t even rain proof!
The quality of the bracelet is IMO as good as the Seiko 5M62 Kinetic it is replacing.
The bracelet is big, my wrist is about 16cm and I had to remove 3 links.
If you have a slim wrist, there are still 5 x 1cm removeable links left + the clasp has 4 positions (total about 1cm).
The links are held in place with pins that need to be pushed out, what looks like a screw head is a split pin.
Look for the arrows to see which way to push.
You will need a link pin removal tool, they cost a few pounds, oddly enough they don’t have a push it back pin.
The watch pin goes back in easily with maybe 2mm sticking out. I put this against a steel rule on a table and pushed down. It popped in easily.
If you don’t fancy that take it to a watch shop.
Being a mechanical automatic, time keeping is obviously not as accurate as a quartz but it’s pretty good and after a week I haven’t had to alter the time.
At this price I consider the Invicta 8927 Pro Divers Wrist Watch a real bargai
It’s early days because I have only had it a week but this is a beautiful timepiece
I don’t know how they do it at this price point
Yes it doesn’t keep perfect time, mine gains about 13 seconds a day, but you don’t buy a mechanical watch for accuracy
If you want that, you get get a cheap quartz for less than a fiver
This watch looks and feels much more expensive than it is and I am delighted
Ordered another, the 8927OB
A few months in, still gaining just over 10 seconds a day, still love it… I own a Seiko Solar, Accurist quartz, Longines autos, Tudor autos and Rolex watches… for value for money these are top notch
Update… I have owned this for a few months now and over the past couple of weeks I have had a go at regulating it.. I would not even attempt this with an expensive auto, but if you are careful, patient, and use a loop it can be done.
The result is that this watch now runs at a consistent plus 2 seconds a day. Just to give a comparison, my Rolexes all run at plus 0.5 to plus 2, my Longines at plus 4 and my Tudor at plus 0.6. Quite remarkable that this can be achieved at this price point and says a lot about the quality of the Seiko NH35 autimatic movement.
The watch still looks great.
Now 4 years old and on a suede strap. The original strap is still fine stored in a drawer. I just prefer it on a suede. See the photos. One of my beater watches when out and about walking the dog or whatever. Nothing wrong with it. Still gains a few seconds a day, less than 5…Not swam in it but it has seen plenty of water, rain, washing the pots or the car etc. No issues. I mean it cost about 60 quid. It has already lasted longer than I expected.
I have some very expensive watches, but for knocking about in as a beater watch this is great. A few years back one of my Rolexes was damaged during an attempted mugging. I ended up selling it even after it was successfully repaired. I never felt the same about it after that. If the same happened while I was wearing this I would give them the Invicta and buy another…
I smacked another vintage Rolex on a door handle and cracked the plastic crystal. Hence why I now have a few beater watches like this…
Sure it isn’t a Seiko, but it has a Seiko movement…and it isn’t a Seiko auto diver price…
Sure it isn’t a Rolex Sub, but you don’t compare a Skoda Citigo with a Ferrari…
I believe from other buyers there may be some quality control issues. But I bought a good one and any issues are likely to show up quickly.
The way I see it is that a watch is not just a watch, but a timepiece. A beauty of engineering in miniature. This is what the Invicta is to me. Sure a Rolex, Omega or a Patek Phillipe are too, but with the thousands of pounds I’ve saved by not letting my ego or brand snobbery effect my decision, I can spend the money on things that truly matter, children, meals out, etc….
So for me it’s a no brainier. Beautiful watch, keeps very good time (my life isn’t timed to the millisecond, no ones is), I’ve tested the water resistance and up to 20meters it’s 100% satisfactory. If your diving more than that you’d be wearing a dive computer anyway, unless your a moron in which case go for it, it’ll save a bit of oxygen for the rest of humanity with the brains needed to realise a dive computer is a must.
The case and materials used are very pleasing to look at and feel, yes you can get better, but once again we come back to the money saved. With the naked eye and even with a jewellers loop, the lettering and polishing and brushed metal are way more than could normally be expected.
The only issue which might arise is the price of servicing it, as it is an automatic, which will eventually require servicing. The cost of this at present in the UK is approximately 120, twice the price of the watch, however you can buy a watch makers tool kit and a brand new movement for 30, or bin it and by another. The watch will keep decent time without service for at least 3 to 5 years and probably beyond, meaning it cost 1/3 of a penny per day. Again no brainier.
Hope this helps you to decide, in my opinion but it, if you don’t agree, then amazon will refund you the full price, so you can’t loose.
My husband loves watches and has a variety, including a couple of vintage Longines, some Victorian pocket watches and others. He is not terribly careful with watches and the most he has spent on a watch was about 800.
He asked for this one because he likes automatics, and is sick of watches he doesn’t use running out of battery power.
We didn’t expect too much for the price, but he likes the NH35 movement and chose the non-coin edge bezel so it would look less like a Submariner (he really does not like Rolex!).
Delivery was good and first impressions were excellent. The watch weighs about the same as his other automatics, looked nice without being too blingy and was packaged well.
We had read that the strap wasn’t high quality, but actually it is really nice. The closing mechanism isn’t as smoothly finished as a Longines or even a Bulova, but is fine, and very secure.
The watch has been worn for about a week now and has lost about 40 seconds, and that is without any regulation, which seems incredible for the money. Also, the date is very visible, a problem he has with another favourite, his Citizen Eco-drive, and can be read without him putting on his specs.
Only disadvantage is that the lume, which is very clear initially, seems to fade quickly, but that is not a big issue.
The watch get very appreciative comments from colleagues, one of whom thought the second hand emblem was an Aston Martin one!
Being mineral glass and with an aluminium bezel insert, it may scratch easily, but this was bought as a watch to wear without worrying about knocking it, and for the price it is great.
If you want a status symbol, this is not for you, but if you want a well finished watch at a great price, with a good, reliable engine, I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Have now owned my Invicta Pro Diver for 5 months to make sure I had time to really test it. Having paid just over sixty pounds it seemed a really good deal for a daily wearable go to watch. Well packaged, seems well made, nice heavy weight and I had the tools to remove a few links which was simple. I love the glass back and when I first started using it there was a loss of about 14 secs a day, however some research revealed that they often improve with a few months of regular use and sure enough its now down to about 4 secs a day over a two week period, so less than a minute every fortnight which for me is fine and might even improve with time. If you truly want impeccable time then go for Quartz and don’t complain. All my other watches are Quartz so I fancied a proper mechanical watch and the idea of not changing batteries every few years was appealing. Its been used daily and over this time has worn well with just tiny scratches to the strap and the Glass Face has stood up fine as well being pretty much unmarked. The strap is comfortable, safety clasp fits well and tight, its a nice size and I like the sweep second hand. All the logo and writing is perfect and its luminous enough for my needs at night, even the second hand has a luminous dot. Easy to reset the time and the date etc. I don’t use it under water at all so cant comment on that side of it. At this price point its just perfect without having to worry about wearing it every day and saves my other watches from getting a bashing. Buy one and you wont be disappointed.
Very nice watch that keeps good time for an automatic. Looks very much like a famous luxery brand but thats not a bad thing, this isn’t a replica of that watch but rather a homage to it. Case is staneless steel and is well finished with no flaws I have been able to find and the face is a nice deep black. There are however 3 flaws to this watch.
1) The bezel is really hard to grip and turn due to its Omega inspired design and the bezel seems to fit very tightly to the case making turning it a real pain.
2) The lume, like most Invictas is terrible. The hands glow well enough and so does the bezel pearl but the hour markers fade very fast and cannot really be seen at night. The lume also does not hold a charge, if Seiko lume is a 10 then this would be a 2 maybe 3.
3) The strap is not great, not the worse I have seen but really not great. Feels a little cheap, my opinion of course but Invicta could really have done a better job with the strap. But put on a NATO and it really changes the feel of the watch and NATO’s are really cheap and you could have a different looking watch every day.
Apart from those flaws the watch for the price is a very good buy, its unobtrusive, looks more expensive than it really is and looks well dressed down or with a suit. The movement is reliable, I haven’t tested it for accuracy but it seems to keep good time and is out about 10 seconds a day, which for a watch at this price point isn’t bad at all. For those brave enough you could adjust the movement yourself to bring that down or get a watch maker to do it for you but to be honest for everyday wear it is fine as far as accuracy goes.
All in all a nice watch made by a much maligned watch maker and a nice change from their usual over the top designs. It comes in a nice box, the standard yellow Invicta one and is nicely presented. I have had this model for a few weeks and so far so good. For the money you really cant go wrong.
I wanted a replacement for my old quartz Pulsar watch. I wanted an automatic, mechanical movement divers watch. My initial impression is that this is a lovely presented watch. Really high quality finish – much better than the price tag implies. The bezel is painted, rather than embossed, so that will probably wear in time. I’ll probably update this review once I have had a chance to test the reliability, but overall, this is looking like very good value for what you pay.
OK, just over week in. It loses roughly 7 – 10 seconds time for each 24 hours of use. This is not as accurate as a quartz watch, but that is the nature of all mechanical watches. Still, that’s 99.9919% accurate. Most watch forums tell me that you should run it for a month to make sure it ‘runs in’, so I’m hoping that it might improve. Will keep you posted.
Just under a month in, and I’ve worn it every day at home and at work. The movement seems to be settling in. It loses between 5 and 7 seconds a day depending upon whether I am working out or not. I’ve not needed to rewind the watch by hand, so the automatic winding mechanism is working great. I’ve taken the kids swimming 3 times, which involves a lot of diving in and tough activity. The case is 100% watertight, with no sign of any fogging. I’ve knocked it against a few solid objects, but there are no scratches so far. Will keep you updated on any developments.
3 months use. Now it’s run in, I took it into a jeweller to have it regulated (5). It now gains between 0.5 and 1 second a day. If I leave it lying on its side over night, it corrects itself. The hacking movement is outstanding, and as I see more watches, I realise that you are looking at 200+ for comparable specification and performance. There is enough power reserve that I can run another watch for a day, and pick this one back up and its still running. Upgraded to 5 stars.
I bought this watch for 62, which seemed a fair price for what seems to be a watch of the same quality as a Seiko 5, which can be found at similar prices. The glass is mineral glass and so is liable to scratching but, when new, seems perfectly fine. The cyclops lens provides reasonable magnification of the date. The bezel markers are very precisely painted and look good but the bezel itself is almost prohibitively difficult to turn and I can’t imagine anyone would be able to with wet fingers. I’m not a fan of the Invicta second hand counter-weight but all the hands and luminous markers are accurately positioned. The crown is of the screw-down variety and feels good to use and provides for quite close adjustments, although there is some wobble apparent when you take fingers off the crown. The exhibition glass back seems to be standard nowadays and this shows a movement with a nicely decorated rotor in yellow. The rotor seems to be allowed a greater rotational freedom than you’d see on an ETA or Selita movement. The links may be hollow – I don’t know, but the bracelet feels very light. The watch case is the best thing about it – it is impressively well made with a well cut ‘INVICTA’ marking on the opposite side to the crown and the design incorporates precisely separated sections of brushed and mirrored steel which looks very good.
This is quite a heavy watch but it is not huge on the wrist. I delayed writing this review for a few weeks as it has a mechanical automatic movement that may take some time to run in.
Initially after setting up in accordance with the instructions it was loosing a few seconds per day. Over the last couple of weeks I would assume that the mechanics have all had time to bed in.
When wound but not worn for 8 hours (when sleeping for instance) it gains a second or two, when worn it will loose between a second or two over 16 hours. I guess this is the nature of automatic watches at this price given as it self winds a little tension is taken away from the drive spring (to wind it) reducing pressure on the drive. Overall it keeps time very well so far, certainly within a few seconds per week so far. So far I am very pleased with it. Strap adjustment is easy if you have the right basic tools.
Some points to consider for some prospective buyers that maybe some reviewers may not have elaborated on:
– The crown has to be screwed back in to preserve the stated water resistance and the watch cannot be wound manually (automatic winding is fine) when the crown is screwed in and has to be released first.
– The magnified date window is not flush with the flat glass but is a raised lens above the glass.
– The rotating watch face ring is unidirectional and is quite stiff to use. This makes sense as once set you do not want it to change by accident for example by movement of a sleeve.
For a mechanical movement it is very accurate to within a few seconds one way or the other per day depending on how long it’s being worn the time keeping differences are so small I am very happy with it.
I wanted to buy a watch for my Nephew’s 21st birthday.
My brief was to get a really good looking watch that had the qualities of an expensive watch but would be a watch he would wear everyday and not be too frighted about either damaging or loosing.
This Invicata ticked all the boxes.
It has the good looks of a Rolex which let’s face it a heck of a lot of watches aspire to.
The black goes with everything.
It looks good.
It is a Man’s watch really heavy and thick but it looks really good.
This is awatch that will be noticed yet is really functional.
It is water proof.
I know that my nephew likes to swim and this is the watch for him.
I got an automatic because this is the favoured watch if you dive or go in water quite a lot.
If it were a battery whilst you can easily reoplace the batteries it is the seals that you need to watch out for.
If the seals fail then the watch is ruined.
A nice touch with this watch is the rear where there is a glass back that allows you to see the movement action.
A convesation piece if you like.
I already have an Invicta Watch and am pleased with it BUT this one does look better.
It is a decent price for a really good looking watch.
You do need to get a couple of links taken out of the strap unless you are a big body builder.
A decent local jeweler will do this for you for around a fiver.
Believe me it is worth getting a jeweler to do this for you because they know what they are doing and a fiver for a good fit and a good job is worth it.
The jeweler that did mine gave me bags of advice like don’t adjust the connecting part that folds to the max because this puts a lot of strain on the bracelet- better to take another link out. etc.
Sound advice.
With a bit of care it will run and run and if the worst does come to the worst its reasonable price means it will not be the absolutely disastrous loss that you would get with a Rolex.
Post Script.
My nephew was pleased with the watch.
After my 10 yr old Seiko 5 started playing up, I decided to look for another every day automatic watch. The Seiko 5 range was looking a bit dated in my opinion, so I began looking at other sub100 automatic watches and found there weren’t that many. I liked the look of the Invicta pro-diver watches and plumped for the 9094 as I fancied something a bit different with the blue dial and bezel. I ordered mine from Watch Kingdom fulfilled by Amazon, this saved on the delivery charge and the watch was delivered within 3 days. My watch has the Seiko NH25A movement and a screw in crown, so far it has gained a minute in 7 days which is very good for a budget automatic watch. In terms of looks, I really like the chunky bracelet with the polished centre links and brushed outer links with polished edges. I would suggest buying a cheap link removing tool as it is very easy to scratch the polished edges if removing the pins with a dolly hammer. As others have commented the dial and bezel are a much brighter blue than the Amazon picture, the customer pictures are more realistic. The bezel has a high sheen and glints in the light as do the hour markers which are flourescent overlaid on chrome. The dial is particularly attractive as it seems to shimmer as it reflects light at different angles. I was concerned that the watch would be too big as it is considerably more chunky than my old Seiko 5, but in reality the Invicta sits nicely on the wrist (I don’t have very large wrists) and doesn’t snag on shirt cuffs or trouser pockets etc. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Nice weight ,bracelet fits nicely ,easy to read dial & date much like my Rolex sub other than markers a little small & the illumination lasts a very short time ,looks good comfortable to wea
