This ornament has to be one of my favourites!
Be warned, it doesn’t come with a lightbulb for his head – I bought this separately. This was no problem as it does say this, I just didn’t read the blurb properly so that was my own fault.
This was expensive but I love it. It’s gets a lot of comments from guests who all love it.
It does sit on the shelf and is fairly secure once you sit it properly. It has to sit on the lip of the two bolts otherwise it will fall over.
Amazing looking lamp, very heavy and looks expensive. However the downside is that it looks very gold, when I ordered a brass colour. I was expecting more of a coppery colour rather than gold.
I bought this to add something new to my guest bedroom. It’s a lovely piece of art especially when lit. You can change th bulb to something a little bit bright since I find it too bright if you’re going to use it as a bedside lamp.
They are incredibly heavy, you wouldn’t want one of these falling to the floor. I was going to sit these on my bedside table, but as the corners of the tables are rounded, the lamps wouldn’t sit firmly and would have needed to be secured to the table otherwise they would have slipped off (they sit firmly on square edges). I found the perfect place for them, on the headboard, leaning slightly backwards against the wall, there’s no way these boys will be falling off! They are also quite big, so would have taken up quite a bit of room on the bedside table, had it been suitable for them.
I bought smart bulbs for them, they work perfectly and it means I don’t need to mess around with trying to find the light switch.
I definitely recommend these lamps, I absolutely love them, they’re so different and of great quality. I’ve not been so happy with a purchase for a long time, they’re fabulous!
