Il materiale di cui composto questo tappeto fa s che resista al calore di ceneri e tizzoni ardenti che possono cadere accidentalmente dal barbecue proteggendo cos qualsiasi superficie.
Oltre alla protezione, ci che mi fa dare 5 stelle che la pulizia estremamente semplice, essendo il materiale di cui composto non poroso e quindi sciacquabile facilmente con canna dell’acqua e magari spazzolato velocemente.
Parto dal presupposto che non ne ho provata la resistenza al calore.
Avevo necessit di un tappetino simile perch da quest’anno ho installato il prato sintetico nel giardinetto sul retro dove utilizzo anche il mio weber. Difficile che mi caschi qualche tizzone ardente, ma nel caso succedesse danneggerebbe il prato sintetico. Utilizzando questo tappetino sto sicuramente pi tranquillo, ed essendo tondo sta anche bene sotto il BBQ. Nel mio caso che lo uso sopra il pratico sintetico, essendo morbido le gambe “sprofondano” un po’ ma alla fine non lo vedo un grosso difetto per dare 4 stelle, anche perch per evitare questa cosa dovrebbe essere pi rigido e ne comprometterebbe le dimensioni da riposto.
Desde que uso esta alfombrilla, me ahorro mucho tiempo en limpiar las manchas de grasa de la terraza cuando hago barbacoas, la verdad es que estoy muy contento con el producto. Las medidas son perfectas para m barbacoa, ya que son las las gotas que he de limpiar que salen fuera de la superficie protegida.
Recomiendo el uso de este tipo de alfombrillas y en concreto de este modelo por su eficacia.
Non un tappetino dall’aspetto premium come pu essere un originale Weber per capirci, infatti questo molto sottile e non si stende perfettamente con il suo peso.
Tuttavia grande ed economico. Purtroppo non ho braci le volte che l’ho usato e non posso esprimere un giudizio sulla resistenza al calore.
Mi piaciuto l’idea del tappeto per camini esattamente ci di cui avevo bisogno, il prodotto arrivato ripiegato su se stesso pi volte, il materiale e ottimo e davvero utilissimo, la grandezza perfetta ansi nel mio caso ha una dimensioni generosa facile da pulire, Protezione a tre strati protegge bene il pavimento dai cenere dalla combustione o della trucioli di legno il pavimento rimane pulito, il tappetino per braciere ha un ampio utilizzo, devo specificare che le pieghe rettangolare evidente al inizio della apertura non rimangano evidente su tutta la superficie.

I love using the firepits but since swapping from natural grass to artificial grass I have been using them on the patio but that meant the smoke was closer to the house. This new round fire pit mat has meant that we can have the fires down the end of the garden again and not worry about the heat from the fire pit heating the astroturf. I have to say I was sceptical to start with and I checked a few times if it was heating up underneath but it was still cool, at best at the end it was warm but much cooler than on a summers day.
The mat is easy to clean with a brush and some water, it is easy to store away you can just fold it up and it can go away with the logs or the fire pit.
Ped este producto ya que en casa estbamos hartos de cuando realizbamos barbacoas se manchase todo el suelo de la grasa que salpicaba o caa, porque luego resultaba muy tedioso de limpiar. El producto se trata de una alfombrilla ignfuga e impermeable en mi caso de 190 x 91cm. Recomiendo mucho el producto, nos ha venido como anillo al dedo en casa, todo lo que se mancha con la barbacoa ya sea grasa, comida o carbn, la alfombrilla lo aguanta y no se quema ni hace agujeros ni siquiera con el carbn. En cuanto a la limpieza es muy fcil, le damos con agua, jabn y un estropajo/fregona y se quita todo al momento, super cmodo, tras uso se seca rpido y la volvemos a guardar doblndola y metiendola en la bolsa de zip en la que viene hasta el siguiente uso. En resumen, estamos encantados, nos ahorramos en tener que limpiar el suelo y la alfombra es muy rpida de limpiar, adems en mi caso he cogido una bastante grande que cubre tanto la barbacoa como alrededores, por lo que hay menos riesgo de manchar fuera.

Es una estera para poner debajo de la barbacoa en el exterior, yo hasta ahora para evitar manchar de aceite y cenizas pona cartn, pero el problema es que cuando a veces saltaban chispas o trozos de carbn encendido se quemaba y haba que estar pendiente.
Esta esterilla no se quema si pasa eso, adems tienen buen grosor y no desliza, la barbacoa queda bien fijada en ella y evitamos manchar el suelo o quemarlo.
Est formada de varias capas de fibra de vidrio y soporta temperaturas de hasta 1000C as que cumple perfectamente con su funcin, adems el lavado es sencillo con un cepillo jabn y la manguera en un momento est limpia.
Me parece una muy buena opcin, tiene buena calidad.
Tappetto per barbecue di grandi dimensioni (disponibile anche in misure pi compatte) ma ho preferito quella grande per proteggere la pavimentazione del mio balcone da faville, carbone e tutto quello che pu sporcarlo e macchiarlo. L’articolo davvero buono, grande abbastanza (nella misura pi grande, ripeto) ma avrei preferito una sacca per riporlo in quanto dopo l’utilizzo, ripiegandelo per bene, non entra nella sua stessa confezione ed un po’ voluminoso e ingombrante. Per questo motivo, solo per questo, d 4 stelle. Nel complesso buono, pratico e si lava bene. Consigliato

Tenemos una paellera elctrica con tapa y la usamos para todo, hacemos barbacoas con ella y todo, la ponemos en el suelo de la terraza, pero nos hemos dado cuenta que salpica y ha hecho mancha en el suelo.

I used my fire pit during the summer when the grass was dry. My brain didn’t compute that dry grass and high heat equals fire… Yes, I set fire to my garden. After very quickly turning the hosepipe on, the fire was out but I was left thinking about how to prevent it happening again. Then I saw this round fire pit mat and knew it was the answer. This mat is made of a heat resistant material and will catch any sparks that drift down. It will prevent dry grass catching fire as well as decking. I would say that if you are going to use a fire pit, as well as having a means to extinguish it, you really need a fire pit mat to be safe. I’m really pleased with the mat I received and know it help keep my family safe.
Amo grigliare all’aperto nel mio giardino, soprattutto in compagnia, almeno 1 volta ogni 2 settimane (tempo permettendo).
Essendo che il mio barbecue non fisso, ma con le ruote per poterlo spostare facilmente, potete facilmente immaginare che ogni volta che lo uso ho la necessit di proteggere la zona di terrazza in cui lo posiziono.
E questo lo facevo, per comodit, con dei cartoni.
Ovviamente, questi, sono facili da rompere, e si impregnano facilmente di oli e residui di carbone, che ogni barbecue che si rispetti genera ad ogni grigliata.
Quindi, casualmente ho scoperto l’esistenza di questo tappeto specifico per il barbecue, e l’ho preso senza neanche pensarci.
Vi dico solo che mi ha cambiato in meglio tutta l’esperienza del grigliare all’aperto.
Facile da posizionare, non fa grinze, resiste al calore dei pezzi incandescenti che puntualmente cadono, resiste alla trazione del passaggio delle ruote del barbecue senza rovinarsi, non assorbe liquidi. La struttura morbidissima permette di poterlo ripiegare facilmente occupando pochissimo spazio.
Per la pulizia basta una passata con un panno umido.
Wow, che meraviglia. A saperlo prima avrei risparmiato anni di utilizzo improprio di innocenti cartoni.
Chi me lo ha visto usare vuole sapere dove poterlo comprare, in quanto tutti ne restano entusiasticamente colpiti dalle sue caratteristiche.
Il prezzo non neanche caro per quello che il materiale e le sue doti di resistenza. E non fa neanche puzza di plastica.
Fidatevi, sar uno dei migliori acquisti che potreste fare. Senza contare che un tappetino cosi potrebbe avere anche altre mille destinazioni di utilizzo, oltre al barbecue.

This is a handy mat, and I was looking to buy one in person but couldn’t seem to find one so opted for this.
It’s plenty big enough as we’ve only got a small round fire pit. It seems to work perfectly, and I can only judge that on the fact that there’s no burn or scorch marks on the decking (my biggest fear!)
It seems very durable and so far so good, I will keep using it and hoping it keeps doing the job. It wipes down easily enough too, so the quality seems very good.
La stuoia per Barbecue un accessorio indispensabile per chi ama grigliare all’aperto sia per salvaguardare il fondo su cui si appoggia il BBQ sia per questioni di sicurezza. Si dimostra resistente al tatto e, soprattutto, ad eventuali tizzoni ardenti, grazie al multistrato in fibra di vetro con cui realizzato.
Prodotto in diverse misure (di cui la pi piccola di 91 cm in forma circolare), ma pu essere anche tagliato molto facilmente nel caso lo si voglia “modellare” per esigenze personali.
Incredibile come una stuoia non particolarmente spessa e anche morbida da maneggiare risulti cos resistente!

Quando faccio il barbecue sono solito mettere dei pezzi di cartone per coprire il pavimento del giardino per proteggerlo dal carbone ardente o dal grasso della carne che potrebbe cadere e sporcare a terra, facendomi perdere tempo a pulirlo per non lasciarci delle macchie visibili perch ovviamente l pavimento si sporca inevitabilmente.
E quindi ecco la soluzione a tutto questo: un tappetino a 3 strati, antincendio e resistente alle alte temperature grazie alla fibra di vetro, a materiali ignifughi e in silicone di cui composto.
Tutto questo protegger dai danni provocati dai bracieri, dai barbecue e non solo, perch offrir protezione contro macchie di olio o danni da calore sul pavimento.
Grazie al fatto che si pu piegare molto facile da trasportare, quindi versatile e adatto anche a picnic, campeggi, forni a gas, elettrici e tutto ci che riguarda il barbecue.

molto ben fatto, i bordi del tappetino sono cuciti ottimamente e questa stuoia pu resistere fino a 1000 da come descritto dal venditore.
Altra nota positiva: facilmente lavabile con acqua e sapone.
Si consiglia comunque di lasciarlo ad asciugare all’aria aperta.

Questo tappetino ignifugo ha una forma quadrata universale e pu essere installato in focolari a propano, focolari da campeggio, barbecue a carbone, ecc.
La superficie facile da pulire dopo l’uso. pieghevole e portatile, me lo aspettavo pi spesso ed invece sottile. Questo tappetino oltre a garantire la pulizia dello spazio da tizzoni e altro garantisce maggiore sicurezza evitando che possa prendere fuoco l’erba sottostante.
Il tappetino appare anche impermeabile e sembra possa resistere nel tempo.
Excellent bit of kit to protect the grass when you’re having a fire pit, much needed if you have one of those fold out portable ones for camping. folds flat so takes up little storage space, and its super easy to clean!
Not much to say about this, it’s absolutely huge and didn’t realise it would be so big but that’s good as it can accommodate both my BBQ & firefpit.
Material is a bit thin but seems to protect well, I am using on block paving though so the surface is already secure. Not sure how it would preform on grass.
We no longer have any open ground where we can place a bonfire. I have a fairly large (36″) steel fire pit which stands about 7 inches off the ground but the only place I can position it is in the middle of our grassed lawn. So on November 5th for Guy Fawkes night we decided to give this fire pit mat from Kovshuiwe a try and so I laid the mat over the grass and placed our fire pit on top. We had a massive fire going in the pit for about 6 hours and at one point the heat was so intense that the underside of the fire bowl was glowing red. The next day (the fire was still quite warm), we removed the fire pit and lifted the mat. The grass underneath was flattened but there was no scorching or heat damage and after another day the grass was upright and fully recovered as though there had never been a fire. So I am impressed with this heat-resisting mat, so long as you have at least 6 inches of air space below your fire pit, this really does a great job. It may not last forever but it is cheap enough to replace regularly.

Comes simply packaged but thats all it needs, its plenty large for whats needed and the edge stitching is better than some clothing out there! While its not needed, it shows the makers provide a quality product, more than whats needed.
Using a small wood burner over the last few months has caused some discolouration on our decking so grabbing this was a must. Its plenty large and after a week of almost nightly use under the banana umbrella (dont worry, its vented) i can confirm it covers all the area you’ll need aswell as space for when the wind catches the wrong angles and blows ash around. Solid item
This mat is very good quality and a nice thickness. The size was perfect to fit under our large bbq. It offers peace of mind against any accidents but is also easy to clean any spills off.
A protective mat beneath the barbecue has turned my weekend grilling into a less worrisome affair. No longer does a spill or splatter send me into a frenzy. The mat handles the mess, and a simple hose down post-cookout leaves it looking new. Being able to snip it to fit the space was a cinch, and it’s reassuring to know that while it doesn’t flame up, it reminds me to keep an eye on those searing temperatures.
This is largely as described but thinner than I was expecting. That said it is sturdy and should last a few summers.
I’ve not had been able to test this in anger as the BBQ season is long gone this year now but I can see that the mat is decent quality, with good stitching and a tough but thin rubberised material.
It looks to be easy to clean and will sit nicely under my kettle BBQ stopping any grease from dripping onto the patio.
At the time of review this had a large voucher making it around 18 which I think is quite good but the regular price is overpriced in my opinion.
Whenever I’m grilling or barbecuing outside, there’s always a chance that I’m going to end up making a mess. Whether I’ve dropped some food on the floor, sauce, or even oil, this grill mat ensures that the cleanup is a breeze. Its waterproof material means that I can scrub and wash it with soap and water, getting rid of any grease or dirt that may have accumulated on it. This would be much easier than if I’d dropped it on my wooden deck or patio, and would more than likely have stained it, too!
Overall I’d definitely recommend this, even if you aren’t as clumsy as I might be.
This is a large fibreglass mat, it is for the patio to put under a BBQ or grill and will protect your patio or floor in the event you drop burning coals or oil, the mat is fire resistant so a really good safety item, I will use it on my patio when we use the BBQ next spring and summer, it should also help with oil as I have some stains which so far I cannot remove from my patio, this will help with that as well.
The mat feels and looks like rubber but it is fibreglass, it measures over 6ft by just under 3ft and can be cut to size, also, you can wash it down when it gets dirty. I like it, but unfortunately, it is very expensive, there are lots of cheaper ones out there so whilst a great product, let down by the high price, I have knocked off a star, four stars is a good rating for this mat.
There’s probably no a great deal to say about this mat other than it appears to be of good quality and serves its purpose well. I
t is quite heavy and appears to be of rubberised construction or rubber coating. Either way, it is sufficiently tacky without being sticky, to stay in place when laid out. I’ve used it to protect some new deck tiles in the garden and placed it under a bowl type charcoal bar-b-que. The instructions warn to give at least 6 inches from direct heat, which is no problem with this sort of grill. The mat protected the tiles well, even with a few drips and fat spills, which did not appear to damage it. Then it was easy to clean with a damp cloth and fold away for future use.
The edges are hemmed over and it is quite easy to manoeuvre it into place. I have never used ones of these before, so cannot say how it may compare to other similar products, but this one does a very good job. I can see it would also have plenty of other uses in protecting flooring or even covering something over in the garden as it is waterproof.
For the price at time of this review, 25.90 with a 30% off voucher, it would seem to be good value and a very useful product to have.
This is a good quality protective mat , it’s very easy to use and is just the job for deflecting the heat from my log burner in my man shed .it is lightweight and easy to store.
It’s simple and very effective at reducing the thermal heat to floors and walls.

We have two different sized barbecues – one is small but big enough for four people and is charcoal fired, the other is bigger for when we have a lot of guests (10+) and is gas fired. We have slate slabs that look very unsightly if grease spills on them. We also have composite decking which we have found to our cost can be damaged by hot charcoal or grease.
This mat is big enough to fit under our big barbecue, but is also useful for putting under our smaller ‘flying saucer’ type barbecue. The mat is well finished with a tape edging and is made from heavy gauge fire retardant material that has some sort of coating on both sides – it should be very easy to clean with a pressure washer or maybe detergent and a brush. The instructions say to have a six inch (15cm) gap between the barbecue and the mat which isn’t an issue for us, and the listing says it may melt under high temperatures, but since we won’t be placing any heated substances directly on the mat we should be fine. Of course if you want to put a disposable barbecue directly on the mat that may be a different matter altogether., it certainly isn’t something I’d be tempted to do. This mat will protect our slabs, decking and grass from barbecue damage, it could also be used in a car boot as a liner.
At 25.90 (as at 26 October 2023) I think this is a good value buy for protecting our expensive slabs and decking. Pleased to have it.
I just painted the newish wood deck, this lays nicely and flat under my BBQ, thin but appears to be a good quality mat, nice size area coverage, makes the area more presentable too!
This grill mat is a good size at 190x91cm, allowing me to place my BBQ on it with ease and protect a good amount of the surface below.
It’s advertised as fireproof, which I don’t want to put to the test but any extra protection it can provide whole BBQing on my decking is a bonus.
It’s also easy to clean off after use, either by hand washing or hosing down and sweeping.
All in all, it’s a handy grill mat that offers a good amount of protection to the ground surface.
