After my dogs teeth started getting a bit more yellow/brown looking I got these and within a week or so there was a marked improvement. Been using for several months now and can’t complain. Dog likes them and they do what I expected them to do.
A brilliant product. Must taste ok as my dog loves them. Being giving her one a day for over a week and her teeth definitely look whiter. The plaque is definitely going and she is getting the Hollywood Smile the packaging advertises 🙂 !
Love all of Lily’s Kitchen dog products, and so does my dog. All natural ingredients with added extra healthy herbs etc.
Both of our dogs absolutely love these. They’re very different breeds and chew very differently (one “gnaws” and the other “nibbles”), but these seem to manage to clean a decent amount of plaque from their teeth, whilst also helping minimise doggy breath. Worth saying that they go absolutely *mad* for the smell of these – presumably due to the kelp/seaweed content – which has helped us shop for other similar treats and foods for them.
These woofbrushes really do work – I have tried less expensive brands but they make you realise why this brand is worth the extra cost as they really do work. My dog eagerly waits for his after his meal and eats every bit with enjoyment. Obviously they don’t keep all tarter away but my Vet always comments on how clean his teeth are at his check ups. I have never known my dog to have bad breath either. I definitely recommend these woofbrushes if you can’t use a traditional dog toothpaste & brush on your dog. Very natural products & no sugar or other nasty additives as found in other brands
My dog loves having half of one of these whilst we eat our dinner. Whether they help her teeth or not is difficult to say, she does eat them very quickly but has a strong chew. But they are a nice treat and good value if you break them in half.
I gave the two of them a piece every other night and I added toothpaste in the core. They went crazy every time I opened the bag. Love it for sure! Bonus is, they would go to bed peacefully after the gratified chew. Low calorie. Tough for chewing. And if the price could be cheaper, it is perfect!
Searched for long time to find suitable bones for
my 2 small dogs. These are ideal. They are pure/organic,
coupled with fact they don’t stay hard and become
chewy when dog starts eat them. Ideal for small
dogs. Found other type bones don’t go soft and dogs can choke. Not these,
they are fantastic and full of goodness
We have a large Labrador who loves the dental chew and we give him one per day after his main meal. So one packet of 7 lasts him one week! Have had to take a size down for our Labrador because with food, insurance and vet fees he is becoming one expensive dog. Why are treats and dental chews so expensive?
Well worth the money, the woofbrush is a very hard chew so my dog definitely chews them into small pieces unlike some well known brands. The chews definitely help to remove plaque as my dogs breath is now pleasant.
And being a Lily’s product it is made with natural ingredients. And my dog loves them.
This is a really hard one to rate because I can’t tell what impact its having.
My dog has good teeth. We’ve been brushing his teeth a few times a week since he was a puppy. Sadly, some time ago, things went helter skelter in our life and his brushing got forgotten, reduced to once every couple of weeks.
I noticed tartar build up six weeks ago and immediately got knocked to my senses. His regime for the last six weeks has been brushing every other day (3-4 times a week sometimes with an electric toothbrush and sometimes with a finger one), Plaque X sprinkled on his food daily and one of these sticks three times a week. (Rawhide “bones” on inbetween days)
I think his teeth are getting better. There’s no bad breath and I think the tartar is reducing.
The rawhide takes him 30-60 mins to get through and seems a good workout for his teeth. These sticks are gone in 5-7 minutes (I’ve timed it).
The advantage to these sticks perhaps is that his jaw movements are different from rawhide. His opens his mouth wider and it seems he’s having to undertake different bites.
I don’t know. 4 stars because all I know is that his tummy is fine with no horrible soft “doings” or flatulence. I’m happy that his teeth seem to be improving on this routine I’ve got him on. I’ll be taking him for a dental check up in a few weeks and will update this post with the results.
Prod me in July 2019 if I haven’t updated and you’re keen to know the outcome.
