This light is definitely one of the better video lighting products that i own. Its bigger than i was expecting which was a huge plus. So many times ive ordered ring lights or stand alone lighting products like this, and theyve ended up being tiny little clip on cheap junk. This product is not like that, its good quality, it gives off alot of light, and it stands all on its own with its included base and stand. The only thing i dont like about it is that its a little wobby. Also i cant for the life of me get the separate phone mount piece properly connected to it, which is most likely what is causing the unsturdiness. Even without the phone mount attached ive still been using it everyday to add extra, better lighting to all of the videos i film and product pictures that i take. Im pretty happy with it, the lighting aspect of it is great, im just not a fan of the base and phone mount features.
I use these lights for my many zoom calls and it provides just the right enough light so that I don’t look like I’m working in an attic (which I am). Would 100% recommend.
I selected this specific light due to the flat base. I work from home and average 6 video meetings a day. The flat base provides the stability that a tripod stand does not in the small small space between the wall and my wall mounted monitors. The flat stand looks better aesthetically as well.
The light plugs directly into my monitor, which makes cord management an easy task and keeps it out of sight.
The light is adjustable, 10 levels of brightness and 5 color adjustments. The light itself is adjustable and tiltable.
I am not using the phone holder, but it appears to be well designed and functional. I wish it was about 3-4 inches taller, but that is for my specific set up.
It is a definite step up from the ring light and tripod.
OMG – I LOVE this!!!! I have a bunch of selfie stands for content creation, however this one is now my favorite. I LOVE the square light at the top. I have another one that has a ring light and with that one you could always see the light in my glasses. Not with this one!! You can adjust the intensity with a side switch. You do need to plug it in when using the light.
The stand is very sturdy and it has a phone holder. It secures on the pole and doesn’t slide down. You can bend the light to get the Eagle you want. The phone holder is adjustable, so you can put it higher or lower.
The base is heavy and keeps the whole thing from falling over.
Cons (these are not big enough to not give this 5 stars) – it takes effort to twist the pieces together and it doesn’t adjust too high)
I needed something for making videos that I upload and I find this item to be great for when I am traveling. If you find you have to use your phone for interviews or making videos for a vlog, I would recommend this product. It is stable, my phone was at food height and the light works well.
This light works great for a lot of things. It would be a great behind the monitor light panel for web cams. It’s pretty awesome of phones using the phone holder that comes with it, and it’s even great just as a desk lamp for artist. I found the light from it nice and pleasant, and probably would even use this in my main job as a videographer since it has a standard 1/4 inch mount on the light itself so it would work great with a lot of light stands, etc.
The build of the unit is pretty great, or at leas the light stand, the base, and the light. The phone holder feels cheap and not the same quality as the rest of the unit at all. There’s a good weight to the base, but it also doesn’t take a huge foot print so thats nice. The light’s controls are fairly straightforward, and the light connects via any USB-A powersource. It would be nice if they also including a few different accessories outside of the phone holder. I would of liked to have another mount where I can attach an articulating head on to mount something like a webcam to it.
As mentioned above the light is very pleasant. It’s big enough a panel to create a little softness, and it isn’t extremely harsh on the eyes to look at. Using this as a Make up tutorial type light would probably be great. It would definitely be amazing for any traditional medium artist. My little nephew who paints Warhammer figurines would probably absolutely love this for how little space it takes but the quality of light it puts out.
This Litones light is great. Unfortunate about the cheap phone holder, but otherwise the lights great.
I work from home 100% and spend much of my work day in video conference calls. This light works great for illuminating my face for clear video. There are controls built into the power cable for brightness and color tint. There are 3 stages of color tint – bright white, regular white, and an amber color. This light is well bright enough for my use – I rarely run it at full brightness or else I look washed out on video. Be advised, this light is powered by a USB-A type cable, so you will need a plug-in USB power adapter, it does not come with one. The base is sturdy metal and the telescoping stand seems sturdy as well. There is also a spring loaded phone clamp to hold your device in place. I’d recommend this for anyone needed extra light on their desk for video calls.
This desktop light from LitONES is very easy to assemble and seems to be made of above-quality components. I often spend a lot of time at the desk in my home office and this is a nice addition for me. It easily sits behind my monitors and I love the adjustable height aspect of the light as well as the ability to adjust the angle of it. The attached controls allow you to adjust the brightness levels and the beam color. I normally use a halogen torch light in my office but that does not give me a localized light source for the rare occasions when I might need to do a video chat or meeting. This will be a great help for those situations. I have not used the phone holder feature yet. Keep in mind, this is a single light – not a pair as depicted in some of the product photos.
While the pic in the listing shows two lamps, the package is for one only. Good even light with the increasingly familiar gamut of warm, mid and cool white. At this price would have been nice to have a RGB element as well. The controls for the lamp are on the cord and are pretty straightforward. I would have expected them to be on the lamp itself with a standard USB C cable, so, some minor concern that the cable provided is not replaceable. Light quality is soft and diffuse. I have not tried it specifically for teleconferencing, but for taking pictures of objects on a desk it is nice to reduce glare vs overhead lights.
The light comes well packed in foam. It takes a few minutes to screw the pieces together. You can adjust the height of the light between 14 1/2″ and 23 3/4″ (with the light parallel to the desktop) with the lock collar that you loosen and tighten. The light has three color/temperatures and variable brightness that you control via a built in switch on the cord. The light is powered via USB-A plug (no A/C adapter included). It comes with a spring loaded cell phone holder that attaches to the stand.
I like the ability to control the brightness and temperature of the light, the size of the light, that you can adjust the light position and that its LED and runs cool. I use it to help illuminate objects I photograph.
I think the base needs to be a little heavier. The light is not stable if you turn the head of the light much past 90 degrees relative to the base. I compensate for this by placing a heavy object (book or weight) on the base.

This does the job, and one of the settings doubles up nicely as a daylight bulb for my after work drawing and painting sessions

The light is diffused enough and can be regulated so to just lift the shadows without being too noticeable.
Reflections on glasses and eyes are less noticeable than a ring light but, being a relatively small surface, they are still visible.
Only three light colours, which might require a bit of work on white balance, dependently on how perfect your result needs to be, and what the ambient light is.
But continuous colour settings are normally only available with more expensive units.
The stand is stable enough and the cable is not too short, which is appreciated.
Brilliant desktop video conference light, it arrived in good condition and it’s good quality. The base of the base of the stand is a lot bigger than expected, and although it’s not heavy, it has some weight to it. It’s sturdy and easily adjustable to be turned to be facing in any direction that I like it to. It has an attached remote control and 3 different light modes that are dimmable. The phone holder holds my phone well as it has rubber feet to hold it in place securely.
The light source is soft and easy on the eyes during video meetings. Adjusting the brightness and color temperature was convenient. The flexibility of the stand offered diverse lighting angles, maximizing my video quality. But, even though it saves desktop space, its footprint is slightly larger than I’d prefer.
A high quality light for video calls. 3 different light temperature for choosing. The natural light is comfortable to eye and reflect nice skin colour, which is good, making your skin looks better in the video calls.
I like that warmer colour too, I can use it as atmosphere night in my bedroom. The rod is adjustable, makes it easier to put that behind my laptop. Mobile phone holder is strong too, I can tighten it and adjusts angles.
This is a good light with 3 colour temperatures and 10 different brightness levels. It’s powered via a USB cable. The stand seems fairly sturdy and the arm is flexible, allowing you to direct the light were needed.
Was under the impression this was a battery operated light. It does require a usb cable to work. Fortunately it will work with a power bank so not a huge issue if you can’t reach a plug. Very sturdy when set up on the stand with an ideal filling light for conference or taking photos.
Very useful with a good range of light settings. Happy with it overall.
What I dont like: This is supposed to be rechargeable according to the included instructions but it’s not. It has to be plugged in to USB to work. Fine, not a problem, the cable is a good length. Second, there is no indication which setting is for natural light. There are three temperatures. Warm is obvious. Not a huge problem either.
What I like: the base is heavy enough that it’s sturdy. It can be tilted, angled and rotated. The light is a nice, soft fill, not harsh. It has a relatively small footprint so doesn’t take much room. Easy to assemble. Easy to use.
Overall, a great fill light.
The desktop light is absolutely fantastic! Where shall I start.
I struggle with enough room light during work conferences, so having seen this I thought this might be the solution.
The light came well packaged with each part easy to assemble. The build quality is very good, sturdy and a solid heavy weighted thin flat base.
The rotating feature allows you to rotate the angle in any direction whilst still holding position, and this was promising for me.
The different light setting allows you to set the light tone from bright white to ambiance but also increase and decrease the brightness. With a lengthy cable enough to move the stand around. The bonus feature included the phone clip holder, attaching to the neck. The stand can be adjusted up and down to look down on you or up so it’s worth playing with the direction of light best suited for you.
Overall, this product is fantastic and definitely a game changer in vlogging, video conferencing, general online video calls etc and it’s a must have if you lack the extra light to show your self on cam whilst keeping the background dim. Definitely an investment!
Sturdy light that is perfect for vlogging, with a separate phone attachment stand. Lights easily controlled, with the knob having a power on or off button, a button to change between the hues, and one button each for increasing or decreasing the brightness. Works as expected, definitely Recommend
