Very comfortable, very flexible, very strong and the battery is good and keeps the oculus fully charged. (The battery does make a little whirring noise but that’s the only con really). Another thing that is kinda weird is that you have to double press to turn off the battery when you take the wire out of the oculus three.
Overall, buy it. Don’t take time looking for another one, this is perfect!

So anyone with experience with meta quest tek knows that comfort is last on the list in development and the quest 3 in my experience is the absolute worst! But this headstrap instantly rectifies this! It makes gaming on the quest 3 a much more pleasant experience. Easy to adjust and easy to install! The battery is also needed if you are going to play for an extended amount of time. Strangely the battery button at the back of the headstrap to turn it on and off doesn’t work when plugged into the headset but does work once it’s disconnected from it. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase!

The headset itself is comfortable to wear and much better than the strap provided with the headset,
However there’s a minor issue so far as the battery pack itself is concerned.

The instructions say to leave the headstrap connected to the USB port of the headset, but to turn the battery pack off when not playing games. I found that this was impossible to do – the battery pack cannot be turned off when it is connected to the headset,

The seller did give a refund and allowed me to keep the headstrap so I rate the customer service highly. But the product itself isn’t quite perfect.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA good battery strap that offers better comfort than the original strap.

Only problem seems to be the button that is supposed to turn the battery off. The Quest 3 starts charging again after about 10 seconds.

This is a little annoying as the included cable from the battery is very tight in the Quest charging socket.

The switch on the battery should turn it off so the Quest 3 stops charging from the strap battery when you are not using it.

It does eventually work but you have to repeatedly double click until it shuts the Quest down.

A small annoyance but this should work so I am unsure if I will keep it.

Something seems broke and is rattling around inside the battery section behind the head. Instead of popping the headset open to see what the problem is, which I’d do if it wasn’t brand new, I’m considering a return.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve had a total of three elite straps since the launch of the Meta Quest 3 & all have been sent back. Reluctantly, I thought until my refund comes through from the last purchase (the last one was via eBay), I thought I’d try this one….

Finally I’ve found something worthwhile! This strap is very good, albeit a bit expensive, but it’s worth it. Compared to the others I bought, this strap is a solid build, feels sturdy & is actually comfortable.

The part that holds the battery is not intrusive at all. In fact, you can’t even tell that the strap actually HAS a battery included if it wasn’t for the USB-C lead that charges the Quest 3!

All in all, I’m impressed with this strap & didn’t expect it to be this well made. So all in all, yes, I can definitely recommend this headstrap if you can afford it

    Thumbs Out Of 5
(Not a full 5 thumbs as something has to be absolutely phenomenal for me to give that rating, but it’s close )

We needed a head strap with a battery and one that would allow the unit to be swapped easily between kids and adults. Bought this and so far it’s been a winner. The kids love the fit and the extra game play and it’s super easy to swap between them. No complaints so far and well worth the upgrade.
