Ordered the nipple cream for my wife that is pregnant and will be due very soon, in our previous pregnancy was the medela nipple cream the only brand that worked for her. The cream perfectly moisturise the skin, and prevents cracks and dryness. Must have item to all new mothers.
Safe to be applied after feeding and no needs to be removed for breastfeeding again.
The product is amazing. Worth the price.
As a new mother, finding products that are both effective and safe is crucial. This organic nipple cream has been a godsend. It soothes soreness and dry skin effectively, providing much-needed relief. The natural ingredients, including olive oil and calendula, are gentle and have worked wonders for my sensitive skin. I appreciate the commitment to being organic and vegan, ensuring the product is free from harmful additives. The airless pump tube is a thoughtful design, keeping the cream hygienic and making it easy to apply. For breastfeeding moms looking for a natural, soothing solution, this cream is definitely worth trying.
The first thing that stood out to me was the purity of the ingredients. Knowing that it’s made from entirely natural components provides peace of mind, especially during a time when I am extra conscious of what I expose my baby to through breastfeeding. The absence of synthetic additives or harmful chemicals makes this cream a safe choice for both mom and baby.
The texture of the cream is luxurious and applies smoothly, providing instant relief to sore and cracked nipples. It’s not overly thick, making it easy to spread, and it doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The fast absorption is a practical feature, ensuring that I can comfortably wear nursing pads or bras without any discomfort.
Beyond its immediate soothing effect, I appreciate the long-lasting nourishment it offers. The Medela Organic Nipple Cream doesn’t just mask the discomfort; it actively promotes healing and prevents further dryness. This is crucial for maintaining nipple health, especially during the early stages of breastfeeding when nipples can be particularly sensitive.
The compact 40g size is perfect for on-the-go application, fitting seamlessly into my breastfeeding essentials kit. The packaging is simple yet effective, and the twist-off cap ensures that the cream stays hygienic and easy to access.
Although this is an organic nipple cream, it’s also a highly effective moisturiser and softener for dry skin anywhere, including dry chapped lips. It’s also safe to use on both adults and children. It has no real noticeable taste or fragrance (yes, I did taste it just to make sure it would be suitable for babies) and the ingredients are a high quality food grade anyway. The pump is airless, so it stops contamination of the product, as well as preventing the contents of the tube from oxidising and turning rancid. The pump dispenses small precise amounts, and a little goes a very long way. I tried this out on my lips and hands, as I’m not a breastfeeding mum. The texture between the fingers is a lightweight slightly oily balm, but it does skink into the skin quite quickly, and if you have any left on your fingers after using, you can just wipe it on any other part of your body that needs a quick moisture boost. This balm left my hands feeling incredibly soft and nourished, so I can see this would really work really well for it’s intended use. I’m sure any new breastfeeding mum would be absolutely thrilled to receive this as a gift. Once opened, the product has a 6-month shelf life.
Ingredients listed are olive oil, avocado oil (both good natural moisturisers) candelilla cera (a natural vegan alternative to beeswax) and calendula (marigold) flower, well known for it’s soothing anti-inflammatory properties.

I’d been using lanolin for years on my lips and found it restorative and a barrier. Apparently has the closest texture to skin and sinks in easily. My wife uses it for breastfeeding with and without nipple shields and finds it soothing and healing.
