I got it as I bought a new purple dress. It came nicely packaged. It is very stylish and matches my dress well.
Furthermore, it has a health tracker as well, which is a cherry on top. It has a vibrant, subtle colour. It fits rightly on my wrist.
Would recommend
I got this for my little boy and he is loving it! It has a silicone watch strap which is pratical and comfortable. I have to fasten it on to the tightest setting (he is 7 yrs old) and he is slim however I think given that it is for children maybe another 1 or 2 holes on the strap wouldn’t go amiss.
This aside the watch is fun and has lots of feaqtures for him to explore. We got another one for his twin brother and they love comparing who has done the most steps at the end of the day. It also got a digital display 12 or 24 hour clock so I set it to 12 hour for ease, and it’s then handy to give them a set time as to when they need to do something by (eg how long til we need to leave for school, what time tea is, how long they can play out, etc)
Great battery life length too. Very happy!
I got this watch for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas. I spent a few days testing it out before I give it to him. The features are great I love that he can track steps as well as specific exercise activities. The games seem better than other watches I’ve seen in the past. The sleep tracking feature is awesome. It’s super easy to pair with the app. The watch hold a charge for quite a few days and charges up quickly. Although kids don’t need to access the app all info is in the watch but good for parents to keep track on their phones. Seems to be pretty durable. I wish kids watches were a bit slimmer I have small wrists and it bothered me a little while wearing.
L is rising 6. Her sister got one of these a year ago and she’s really, really wanted one ever since. That her sister is 2 years older doesn’t matter – it’s the fairness of it all that matters – her sister has one, so she should have one. When you’re 5 things can be very straightforward.
I asked her the same questions I’d asked her sister when she got hers:
How did you feel when you opened the box? Really excited
How easy was it to set up and get working? Daddy did it
Do you like what it does? Yes and I know what it does because of playing with P’s (her sister)
Is it easy to use? Yes because I’ve used P’s sometimes
Do you wish it had other things to do on it? No
Her mum says:
It’s good there are no games, and it’s a good way for her to learn about time – she’s set an alarm for getting up for school – not that she gets up, but it’s a start! It was easy to set up and she’s very happy with it, as are we – no more sulking over how it “isn’t fair” her sister has one
This kid’s Smartwatch is a mini marvel for active families! It’s a fitness tracker, sleep monitor, and communication hub in one, keeping kids engaged with sports modes, tracking health with heart rate and sleep insights, and offering app-connected features like call/SMS reminders. Waterproof and with a week-long battery, it’s built for adventure, but consider the age range and app dependence before embarking on this techy journey. Overall, it’s great for motivating little ones to ditch the screen and embrace an active lifestyle!
The smartwatch features colourful designs and engaging activities that will keep kids entertained while learning about time, numbers, and the alphabet. It includes a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and pedometer to promote healthy habits and encourage physical activity. The smartwatch is waterproof, making it ideal for everyday wear and tear, even during bath time or playtime in the pool. The smartwatch seamlessly connects to both Android and iPhone devices, allows kids to stay connected with their friends and family. My daughter loves this smartwatch.
The kids smartwatch combines fitness tracking with fun features for children. The heart rate and sleep monitors provide useful insights. While it may not have the most extensive app customization, it offers a balance of health monitoring and entertainment, making it a thoughtful gift for young users.
After getting the kids’ smartwatch, I find it to be a decent gadget for keeping tabs on their activities. The heart rate and sleep monitor features provide some useful insights, although it may not be the most advanced option available. The waterproof design is a nice touch, ensuring durability during playtime. While it lacks standout features, it’s a reliable fitness tracker for everyday use. Overall, it makes for a reasonable birthday present for tech-savvy youngsters.
This wrist device has been tagging along with me for some time now, and it’s quite the tool for keeping track of daily hustle and bustle. Between back-to-back meetings and the gym, it’s been handy to monitor my heart’s rhythm and how well I’ve slept. I even took it for a splash during laps in the pool, and it didn’t miss a beat. It’s become a part of the family’s fabric, especially with the little ones finding joy in the colorful display and the fun fitness challenges. It’s not just another piece of tech; it’s a playful companion that nudges you towards healthier habits without any fuss.
I ordered this smart watch for my little niece and she loved it! She’s feeling more motivated to stay active because it’s a playful way to educate children to stay active and sleep well. I ordered the pink color and she loved it.
The good thing is that it can be used without app or phone so, it’s good even for younger kids that don’t have phone and they can play and pause music with a tap when it’s paired with their phone. It’s very good for example as a timer or heart rate monitor.
We tested it in the water and it’s waterproof, ideal for swimming. The battery life is good and the screen is good size and easy to read. It’s not difficult to set up and the strap is adjustable and it’s comfortable to wear. Overall, it’s a good watch and I’m happy to recommend i
I ordered the Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch for my 4.5 year old son, as I bought a very similar one a few months ago and was surprised by how great it is.
Even though he’s only little, it will be a great first smart watch for him, and he can use the basic functions, such as the clock, stopwatch, and pedometer.
The product arrived well packaged and in immaculate condition.
The packaging is very sleek and sophisticated.
The smart watch is made of good quality materials with a smooth silicone strap.
It has multiple functions and you can easily view the different clock face options, number of steps, calories burnt and updates from a smartphone.
The battery seems to last for a very long time and you can often go weeks without charging it.
It has a usb-type charging cable.
I’m very excited to see his face at Christmas when he receives it. He understands what a smart watch is and is constantly playing with mine.
Overall, a great quality alternative to leading competitor brands that are often not as good.
This is a cute and well made smartwatch for children which is waterproof and comfortable to wear. There are some brilliant functions which don’t need pairing with your phone to work, like activity tracker, heart monitor, customizing wallpaper etc. When you download the app there are many more functions which makes the watch very interactive and fun for children, such as use of the camera, music, calls reminder etc. So far the battery has been pretty good too. My son charges it after about 4 days. The screen is good size, with bright and clear resolution. It looks cool and stylish and would be perfect as a present.
This is an excellent starter smart watch for younger family members with a number of features and functions designed to keep them active.
It has a built is pedometer, plus sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, plus activity trackers so you can select the right activity to track (running, walking, swimming (yes, its waterproof at an IP68 rating), football etc).
The watch also tracks the calories burned, distance travelled etc, in fact the same as smart watches far more expensive.
What is impressive is that you can use this watch without installing the app, which will give you basic functions (time/date, activity tracking, heart rate and sleep tracking, stopwatch and timer) but to have far more control and functionality you should instal the app which offers far more features. You can also change the watch faces in app to ones that are better suited to you.
Control of the watch is via the button on the side, and also swiping the screen to access the various options (pedometer, notifications, settings etc).
Overall, this is a great functioning smart watch for younger family members with a host of features and functions that tracks well, and is a great price.
The Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch has exceeded expectations, offering a delightful fusion of entertainment and health monitoring for our little ones. Packaged in a sleek box, it’s not just a smartwatch—it’s a perfect gift that brings joy to both parents and kids alike.
One of the standout features is its lightweight design, ensuring that it sits comfortably on tiny wrists without any discomfort. The compact size doesn’t compromise on the vibrant display and user-friendly interface, making it easy for kids to navigate through its exciting array of features.
The watch goes beyond being a timepiece; it’s a fitness tracker that encourages healthy habits from an early age. The heart rate monitor and sleep tracker provide valuable insights into our child’s well-being, allowing us to ensure they get the rest they need and stay active throughout the day.
Waterproof and durable, this smartwatch can withstand the adventures of an active child. Whether splashing in puddles or caught in an unexpected rain shower, the Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch stands up to the challenges of daily play.
From a parent’s perspective, the watch seamlessly connects to our devices, allowing us to monitor our child’s activity and set goals through a dedicated app. It brings peace of mind, knowing that we can stay connected and keep an eye on their health and fitness levels.
In conclusion, the Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch is a delightful and thoughtful gift for tech-savvy kids. It not only introduces them to the world of smart technology but also instills healthy habits in a fun and interactive way. With its impressive features and kid-friendly design, this smartwatch has become an essential companion in our child’s daily adventures.
The phone was paired with an Android phone. I can’t comment on functionality with Apple devices.
Pairing up was easy. I scanned a barcode in the manual to take me to the correct app. Installed, created an account and the watch was found and connected quickly. The watch has all the basic functions of a smart watch, i.e. heart rate, pedometer and sleep monitor. The first 2 are fairly accurate, but the sleep monitor is more of an educated estimate.
There is some customisation that you can do such as changing faces or installing your own from the gallery. You can’t answer calls on the watch, but you can mute the phone when ringing or reject the call. Text messages and WhatsApp messages are displayed, but you can’t reply using the watch. I can’t say if this is the same for other apps as I no longer keep social media apps, but I did note that there were options for these in the app.
I have used a Galaxy watch in the past and this is not in the same league, but this is reflected in the price. If you just want an extension to your phone so you can decide if you need to get it out of your pocket and you only need basic health statistics, then this would be OK for you. If you are looking for more advanced options like responding to messages, answering calls through this and a full range of health information, then you are going to need to dig deeper in your pockets and look at something in the branded range.
I like smart watches that use H band, I find it a really good app. So I was pleased this watch uses it.
I was disappointed that you could not add this watch to your existing h band app, I felt because this was a child’s watch this would have been a useful feature. So they could add it to their parents account.
I love the fact that you can swim wearing it, as other smart watches advice against swimming while wearing them.
This has the Pedometer, heart rate and sleep monitoring, which is less features than my other health watch.
The fact that you can add photos to the dial face is brilliant.
It tells you when you have a phone call, but as far as I can work out, your options are to hang up or mute the call, I can’t find how you would answer it, but maybe this is because it is a kids phone.
The straps is strong and long enough for a adults wrist.
I think this is a great bit of kit to encourage healthy habits.
It is good quality, and not easy but easy enough to work out how to set up. Took me 30 minutes.
The dial faces are great for children, the watch face is a good size.
I will update my review if anything useful crops up to add after I have used it for a while.
The watch is well made and comes in a navy colour. The body of the watch is made of a quality plastic that doesn’t feel flimsy in anyway. For a younger persons watch it’s substantial enough in my opinion. To use the watch you have to download an app from your respective App Store and as per the manual it will work with Apple or Android phones. You will also be prompted to create a login to use the app. It communicates with the phone via Bluetooth through the app not as I direst connection so use of the app is required. The watch has the standard suite of monitoring I.e. heart rate, sleep monitor, pedometer and workout and once you are connected to the watch via the app you can personalise the watch, for one you can change the watch face to your own picture or photo from your gallery. All in all I think this is a good purchase and would recommend it at the current price point.
